Indigo Jalen has blood on her hands. She makes no apologies for it.
After years of working in the shadows, leaving bodies behind, she never expected her identity to be exposed. Especially not to them.
The Sinclairs thought they had her cornered and under their thumb with their blackmail scheme. Now they know exactly who she is—and what she's capable of. Their options are kill her for her deception, or admit she's the first woman who's ever outplayed them.
The Sinclairs didn't build their empire by showing mercy. But something about their would-be victim calls to their darker instincts. Something that has nothing to do with revenge.
When the lines between what was and what will be blur, Indi must make a choice. Work with the men who tried to destroy her, or walk away from the only people who might understand her brand of darkness. And maybe give her everything she never knew she wanted.

Indie and the boys are back - and wow, are they in for an adventure in book two!
Indie has dropped the mask and the boys need to accept that their fifth is not the obdeient little kitty cat they assumed she was, but is a bad A$$ magical assassin!
The boys need to work through their own baggage before Indie will even consider being part of the Sept again.
However, there are a LOT of questions to answer in book two - why is indie on a murder spree? Who is she working with? Will the boys argue over their affection for Indie, or will they stay firm and find a way to fill the indie shaped hole in their lives?
No spoilers, because this why choose adventure should be experienced first hand and savoured like a fine Mace - I mean, a smooth Eryx. No, a perfectly chilled Bently. No, a full bodies Theon.
Uh, just go READ THE BOOK. And then report back to review, because thats how we share these amazing books!
When Indi receives a full ride scholarship to Eredia Academy, she plans to keep her head down, get her certificate, and go back home to be with her family. However, those plans were ruined when she came across the Sinclair Sept, Eryx, Mace, Bentley, and Theon. These men had it out for Indi and planned to break her before sending her right back to her family in pieces as revenge.
Although things don't seem to go to plan for the guys and the murders happening on campus under their noses, keep piling up. What will they find, and will Indi be able to accomplish her grand plan?
This duology was really fun and enthralling to read. With a twist at the end of the first book that keeps you in suspense and a strong FMC that might just be the perfect match for all 4 of the Sinclair Sept. Trigger Warnings / Shopping List is not to be ignored in these books. Bullying, violence, blood play, knife play, spanking, breath play, etc. Enough to keep even the most hungry of readers happy.

Ruined + Ruthless - Eredia Academy - by Gemma Black
We've all been waiting to see what the boys would do now they new about Indi. I'm going to attempt to do this with no spoilers.
The power shift in the group is perfect. The total acceptance, love and understanding that they find for each other is amazing. Not only that, but this book gives the PERFECT balance of true crime, fantasy and straight up spice.
A few things that made a huge impact on me while reading- IYKYK style; -I'm not acting, I'm choosing to trust and submit to you *goosebumps* -T and snuggling -Bent getting so lost in a hyper fixation he starts cutting people off without realising -Mace begging Bent with his eyes cos he can't make the words come out right -E being happy to watch his Sept get their fill first. -The Hair. (GAG) -HEAD MISTERESS?! -OK, I'll take Anya's story now thanks
Story/Plot: 4⭐️ Spice: 3.5🌶 Darkness/Triggers: Death/Murder, Knife/Blood Play, Degradation/Praise Kink, BDSM etc. Overall Rating: 4.5 (but I don't want to award a 4, so 5⭐️ it is)
I'm loving the fact that the FMC is just as powerful/dangerous/unhinged as the MMCs. I love Mace (real life red flag with nuclear bomb siren) but he is literally a horney psychotic teddy bear. The smut is nothing too out there, I really expected the ending to be a bit more unhinged... more Mace like (more torture, more blood, more sex), being that they solved everything; the finale seemed a bit rushed, but the aftercare was so sweet.
She wanted to revenge her sister but what she hadn't counted on was falling for the Sinclair Seth and that she would have them to help her or to be one of them the sex was out of this world but when she finally found and dealt with the people who had killed her sister the world was right her and her men
I really enjoyed the way this wrapped up the story between Indi and her men but feel like it’s left so much room for something to be written about Anya and her relationship with Mr and Mrs Davenport. I loved the little Tod bits that we would get about this throuple
Loved this as much as the first. Indi is a strong, badass FMC who keeps all the guys on their toes. This book concluded the story really well and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Spice lovers, this one’s for you—but personally, I needed more plot 💭🔥📚
I’ll start by saying again, everyone has different reading tastes, and this is just my personal take. 🖤
Compared to the first book, Ruthless was definitely more interesting, I’ll give it that. But even so, the story still felt pretty bland to me overall. The plot and world-building remained on the weaker side (same thoughts I had about Book One)
Indi’s character showed a bit more spark this time, which I appreciated! But I still couldn’t fully connect with her or any of the male main characters, honestly. Their emotions and dynamics felt a bit surface-level for me. 😕
I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but there was just too much 🌶️🌶️. Like a lot of it. Like every-other-chapter level of 🌶️🌶️. And while some readers love that, for me, it felt like overkill. I actually found myself groaning a few times “Wait, again? Really?” 😩
The plot (when it did show up) felt like an afterthought. It would pop in briefly, get resolved quickly, and then BOOM, we were back to bedroom scenes. The lack of real tension or suspense made it hard for me to stay invested. 😬📖
It honestly felt like the story kept forgetting it had a plot only to remember midway through and toss in a few scenes before the spice took over again. 🫠
Character development? A bit lacking. World-building? Still not there. Emotional depth? Missed the mark for me. I think the heavy focus on steam overshadowed the potential this story had to really shine 💔
That said, I did give it a fair chance and I know there are readers out there who absolutely enjoy spice-heavy stories with light plot in the background. The author did acknowledge that this book was spice with hints of plot so there’s that as well, at the beginning of the book.
This just wasn’t quite the right fit for me, but we all read for different reasons. If you’re thinking of giving it a go, go for it! You might end up enjoying it way more than I did
The scenes were 🥵🥵 The story was 🔥 👌 and the ending was PERFECT! I loved being able to read Indi's journey and how the connection grew with the Sinclair's! Warmed my heart and soaked my panties haha what more could a girl want from a book!
