Galaxy Circus #8
Spectacle
The mission to Husdavia was a success, though the identity of the woman in the stasis box still remains a mystery. Hopefully, she will wake up and shed some light on the situation.
In the meantime, the Galaxy ship has set course for Fluxx and their next mission is to rescue Silac’s family from the Basilisk syndicate and hopefully reanimate his father. This will make his arranged marriage null and void, making way for Lila and Silac to explore their relationship.
Then the plan is to return to Earth and relieve Agent Smith of his command, rescue Bannock’s daughter, and reconvene the circus tour.
But before this can happen, they need to attend Vilax and dissolve Saxon’s clan. Xavier has also been remanded to appear on Westalin to answer for the death of his harem members. Not to mention there are acts to hire, performers to reassure, and Nikos’ impending delivery.
Lila needs a moment to breathe, but that’s not going to happen anytime soon so the best she can do is hold on and enjoy the ride because it’s not stopping any time soon.

CareBear sex. Lexie obviously had a good time writing this series. It's been wild and is entertaining to say the very least.

okay
I enjoyed this installment of the series and was glad to get more Nikos. Loved all of that. The issue at this point is it’s starting to feel like it’s being dragged out, not to mention predictable to a certain extent. I was hoping that after Fluxx we’d get to the Vilaxians since there was still about 20% left in the book but nope.
I’m still loving the series and am definitely looking forward to more, but I hope it gets back on track to be just as good as it was in the beginning.

While this book felt very much like a filler, it was very enjoyable. I enjoyed seeing more interactions between our gal and her men and family. Everything was very well written and definitely helped build to the next installment. Definitely a fun read ! 4 ⭐️

Granny Granny who you are for real? :) That cliffhanger! 😅 I need the last book now 🫠 So many troubles you bring with you..
A lot happened but obviously not enough, as many answers I got, as many new questions I now have! But those kids 💕 Give me little mermaids with little octopuses any day, all the men being fathers once again and I am swooning 😄 Family vibes are the best 🤗
I was so heartbroken for bear mate Ghosie 💔 This book made me love him and feeling empathy for him too. Give him affection and ability to touch others, Universe! 🥲 When the fix is so close and so far at the same time, it’s torture 🙈
We also finally get to see snake’s mate family and what they really worth. And Xavier’s parents too! :) Let the wedding be, woo hoo!
I am sad and joyful for the end of the series, honestly. It will be one of the longest I finished. Funny but now I really I want a new one about kids. I know, I told that last time but so many discussions happening about their future, I feel the academy for them is like carrot dangling in front of me 😁🥕

Galactic Alien Circus. What more can I say.
As usually, I was sucked back into the series. Even though there are so many characters I don't really have a hard time remembering them.
Though I love that there are so many I want more screen time for each of the character. Some specifically the OG characters feel like they are getting a little edged out by new characters.
Other than that and the fact it wasn't long enough. I can't wait to read the next book.

So unfair Lexie.
I can't believe you did that to us woman 😭
I was so glad we got this book so fast and yes I was thinking that was how it would end, but to not even get to have any time with Grandma while awake was cruel to us.
We know who the sister could see through the window at the end and why she ran off. I was starting to think they were all a bit thick by allowing her to sit with Grandma even if she moved her cousins but then she ran off.
I really really love the story and the characters but because of the amount of Husbands she has and the alien she is, there is loads of sex in the books and sometimes I feel like it takes up the story a bit.
However it does also work well because of the reasons above, so even though I skip a little from time to time I still do enjoy the books.
We need to know what her bloody cousins have done to those poor dino's and hope our girl can heal the one playing up as I don't think it's his fault one bit. I noticed in one of the past books that while Lila was talking to her cousin while she was on top of Viggi, she said a command and he flinched and Lila also noticed so I hope this is taken care of.
May be only a small part in the story but im a huge animal lover and hate to read about cruelty or it being left unnoticed.
We get Susie and Mags back and I really hope they stay. I was her brother-in-law to take one look at Mags and fall in love.
Also we need to get Nixie back to her so she is loved and no longer under her mother's control. (Nasty horrible woman)
We also need to go rescue the little girl and the rest of the aliens 👽 because I'm still in the firm mind set that Smith is not human and is infant a God who helped Grandma's God sis to do all this.
We still have many other things going on like the murder trial of a harem member, the vamp bitches trying their luck, the circus 🎪 getting back on track and her beautiful horse 🐎 to be seen to.
We didn't get any time with him and they need to be close to eachother or he will die 😪
I can't wait to see what the cousins have to say for themselves. They have been horrible and nasty to everyone. Now maybe this can all be because their Grandmother was making them like this and the beating they seemed to have gotten was obviously her. She must think they are dead and then she can try to blame the circus and try to take control that way maybe?
So having them confes and now our Grandma is awake she will hopefully be able to tell us everything.
I hope she doesn't wake with no memory because with so much else going on, I think we need a little luck and instant happiness to focus on.
The reason Lila is so powerful after her last mate is obviously because she is already part God and I think if she had just bit him back maybe he would have regained his power?
Can that all really happen in one last book??? I don't think so Miss Lexie, so you need to keep them coming for us. The books (also the characters 😉🤪)
Another brilliant installment, but I soooo hope it will be released quicker and be longer if its the last book.

major side city to Lila
How are we in book 8 of a “fast burn” RH and Lila still is fighting these mating tendencies?! No wonder, Xavier is frustrated… Her “human” like puritanical nonsense is putting everyone at risk! “I breathe in his unique scent and decide that Xavier and Saxon are right. It’s time to let go of old Lila and finally embrace this new life.” YA THINK?! It’s infuriating that we’re at this point at the end of book 8 still unsure of the amount of mates Lila will have! Will we ever see the Mimic’s Una son?!
I’m sad we didn’t get to see the dragon grandparents meet the children. Or the children get their own hoard. I wanted more with Tirrian’s family. Honestly, the good families never get enough page time. The bad ones get too much.
Also, we went from Zeydan needing another god to help him get a piece of his soul, to him being able to do it himself. This isn’t the first inconsistency- the other being that previously Cas and Nikos could talk underwater and then suddenly they needed Xavier to make it so.
“I mated him. I decided it was time to embrace my new destiny. I think maybe there was a part of me that hadn’t completely accepted everything, and it was making things difficult. I’m hoping things will be different from now on. I shouldn’t be fatigued so quickly, according to what Oshan told me.” THANK GOD (literally).
Obviously the aunt is bad. And is the missing Vivax or whatever. She’s clearly had a hand in all of this. Odd none of these people are suspicious when they know Liliana is the missing Lilessa …

I love this series so much! Definitely one of my favorite alien romance series.
Lila has so many things to juggle. Between her growing family, rescue missions, circus duties, and everything else, it’s no surprise she struggles sometimes. I think we’re at twelve harem members, right? So many that I can barely keep track. I love love love large harems, but the downside is that several characters often get a bit neglected, especially with shorter books like this series tends to have. I do wish these books were longer with more interactions with each harem member.
Poor Nikos. I definitely felt like he was almost forgotten about. I totally get that Lila and the others had a ton going on, but she could have literally teleported to him for a few minutes just to check in. I also felt like she was unnecessarily cruel and unapologetic to Silas. Yes, he messed up, but I didn’t like how she played with him how she did. I wish she’d have at least apologized for the ruse.
I’m so happy for Ghosie being added! He’s definitely touch-starved, and I’m so hoping they’re able to break his curse. I also loved getting more of Zeydan in this book. He seems like such an interesting character, and I really hope we get a few more chapters from his perspective.
This is a high plot and high spice series which is fun to read! Overall, 4/5 stars and 4/5 spice. I cannot wait for Ovation!

Mystery, love, and shenanigans. The whole package!!!
Lila's story over the course of the series has provided me with many laughs and entainment. Her interactions with her men are beautiful, hilarious, and at times relatable, and I love that each of them has mad respect for her and treats her like the queen she is.
With this book, we spent a little more time on the search for Lila's grandma, the birth of more babies, and more extended family drama. Some previous 'future Lila problems' were fulfilled, and our girl officially picked up a couple more mates. I don't know how she does it,12 mates and 5 babies. She really is a powerhouse.
Super curious about the orb, Agent Smith and wondering about the gods and if we have actually met any of them before. Can't wait for the next one.x

This book literally had me all in the feels! I was laughinging, I was crying and I was upset at the way one of the mates was treating Lila…😂🤷🏻♀️.
But as always Lexie Winston draws me so deeply into her world that I am all in! From one part of the galaxy to another I got to watch in amazement as Lila becomes more confident in her abilities, in her mates. The family she is building is big, loving and beautifully supportive…this is one book you don’t want to miss! It has fire, and a nice bit of retribution…and a cliffy that made me screammmm😂😂😂. It’s not just another day, it’s Galaxy Circus Day!
How did I know that was how this book would end? Aaaah, Lexie, how could you leave me hanging like that?! I’m filled with so many emotions after finishing this book, and although I’m quite excited for the next one, I’m not ready for it to be the last. The Galaxy Circus has quickly become my home for the last two years. Not only do I love Lila so much, but I feel like I’ve grown with her...and her mates. Not to mention, I adore all of them. The different dynamics and personalities are out of this world and so is this world that was created. You rock, Lexie, because you could release a hundred more of these books and I’d still continue to follow along!

I absolutely love this series & I’m sad to see that it’s getting closer to the end. I really enjoyed seeing Lila, her mates, and extended family spending time with each other on the ship while traveling to some of the different places where they have different issues they need to resolve. I adored getting to see more of the babies in this book and of course getting to see Lila make connections with more of her mates. I love the world building in the series and enjoyed getting to see some different alien acts auditioning to join the circus that we hadn’t seen before. There are still things that needing to be done before the end of the series and I’m looking forward to reading the wrap-up of the series in the next book.

While I love the series in total and can't stop reading I hated part with Mermaid. He was soo neglected omg she saw him literally once during pregnancy. Like having picnik instead of visiting him?? They literally could've made picnik in pool area so everyone would be together ffs. He wasn't even that terrible of a mate to her. I felt like he was funny, some other dudes were literally worse then him and she forgave them.
I am yet to read book 9 but for now i feel like maybe he was unnecessary for the harem, all he did was first play a jerk and was later neglected by everyone except Link. Even Echo had a suggestion to visit him, it wasnt his own thought.
Idk I just felt bad for him
If it was her pregnant and he saw her handful of times it would've been unforgivable

I dont know what to say, i LOVE this series.
Its the top of my list and will be even if we have to say goodbye after the next one.
I love all the spicy scenes. The family is rapidly growing and i love that. All the characters are so different even if there are a lot of them, you know instantly who is who. I‘m always so happy when Lila finds someone she is attracted to, its so fun and lighthearted, even if there are harder topics and action.
I love the world, i really really hope we dont have to say goodbye to this Galaxy and we get more great stories.

This installment in the Galaxy Circus series had me feeling all types of different emotions. From joy to tears, to laughing out loud.
Lexie Winston is a fantastic world builder and has done it again with another fantastic book! As Lila and her mates are making their way from one end of the galaxy to another, she is becoming more confident in her abilities but also in the new alien environment that she has found herself in. Lila and her mates are building a beautiful family that is full of love, understanding, and support for one another.
This book was a fantastic read, but the cliffhanger did leave me screaming into my pillow! I can't wait for the next book!

I was so excited to know who was in the box. Finding Lila’s grandmother has been such a huge goal in this series. To find out there was more to it was perfect! These books are so sexy. The spice is definitely five out of five. The first half of this book is more getting to know none another and Nike going into labor, which I do not want to spoil any of those details. After that, the drama starts again and everything starts happening back to back. It’s such a thrill all the way to the very end with a cliffy worth throwing the book across the room. I’m so glad this author writes fast! Next please!

What can I say? This series has me in a chokehold and I never want it to end. I know this is the second to last book in Lila’s story but I’m really hoping we’ll get other stories set in this freaking amazing universe that Ms Winston has created!! The twists and turns keep coming and I just can’t wait to see how the author brings it all together in the end. I love Lila’s character so much and the relationship between her and family and the relationship amongst all the men is just so amazing!! And the alien spice is chefs kiss lol.

Fantastic cliffhanger
We're so close to the end now I'm getting jittery.
With everything that we learned in this book is Lila a supreme being?
I love the focus on family, loving, supporting, being considerate of, I especially love that most of the extended families are excited for Lila to join them.
I'm glad Silac came to his senses, and that Lila is starting to embrace the way forward a bit more.
I cannot wait until they're back on Earth and the circus is back to performing.

This book wasn’t bad
Yes you have to read the others to know what’s going on here
Not really any HEA since it’s not the conclusion of the book.
Great story building towards the beginning 1/3 but it’s definitely slows down. The last 1/3 totally changed the FMC and made her seems really whiney. Then there’s a total 180 turn where she explains she’s bracing the changes going on after nothing really significant happened.
I hope the next book is better. I do love this series. Lots of spice but it’s usually written in really well.

I love this show so much. I hope it never ends. I want to see Lila catch them all. ;)
I love the world building and everything around the detailed description of all the different species and how their hanky panky works.
My only criticism of this book is: Some of the males are constantly nagging Lila and I think their communication could be a lot better. Daddy X? Especially you! Just use your adult words to communicate and stop being mean. Even when you have a point: The delivery could be worked on. A LOT!

Good Read
With the end of this series closing in this book certainly left me with loads more questions than I started with and I can’t wait to read the final book of the series to find out the answers. I loved how this book started tying up some of the loose ends from previous books and it feels like this book has been the build up for some sort of big reveal to come. As always, the characters are fantastic and I really found myself totally immersed in the story. I would highly recommend giving this book a read.

Another great installment of my favorite sci fi RH series! Lots of loose ends are being tied up, some formerly tied up loose ends surprisingly unraveling, and most of the men are finally mated! Watch out for the cliffhanger at the end but it was definitely more of a mild cliffhanger than it could have been, but I’m still glad I only have to hopefully wait a few more months before the next and final book! I loved seeing more day to day life for Lila’s family in this book. Overall it was a very satisfying read.

I was so excited to read this next installment in the Galaxy circus series, and boy it didn’t disappoint! I thought the last book had twists and turns but this one blew it out of the park. It kept me on the edge of my seat! I really loved seeing Lila with her men and the babies!! So cute! We got to meet a lot of other characters in this book as well and see some old friends. The anticipation ion for the next book after the cliff hanger is going yo drive me mad. I want to know if my guess on what’s going on with her grandmother is correct! I high red omens this series and I cannot wait to read the next book!

After rescuing her grandmother from Husdavia, they are headed towards Fluxx to save Silac's family. They also need to rescue Brannock's daughter, visit Vilax, and prepare for Niko's babies. There's also the new act auditions and getting the circus tour back up. Will there ever be time for relaxation with her family? Will she get time with Ghosie and Zeydan? Will everything eventually implode? What will happen next?

Fantastic
Another great addition in the series with plenty of family love and bonding. Many bonds strengthen and new ones are nurtured while giving us at least glimpses of members whole family group. Juggling so many characters can be difficult and it is done very well with unique personalities for each. We get some end tied up, some new questions, and some old ones coming back again. Can’t wait for all the answers!

August 21, 2024This book was a great installment of the Galaxy Circus series. I applaud Lexie’s ability to keep all the personalities of Lila’s mates unique and no one disappears.
There’s a ton of creativity in this book's steamy scenes, maybe a little too much? lol
And between the kiddos and creatures, the cute factor is also very high.
I’m both excited and sad that the series is coming to an end in the next book.

Gahhhhh! I love this series so much! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read and re-read everything up to this point. The fact that there’s only one book left in the series makes me so sad but I’m also ridiculously excited for all the mysteries and questions to be answered.
I loved seeing more of Niko and the babies. I was so happy that Silas finally got it together.
I CANNOT wait until we see what kind of chaos Lila brings to Earth. The next book can’t come fast enough! lol

Keeps me wanting more
I am so in love with this series. It is so well written that I can picture everything going on like a movie in my head. I love all her husbands but I hope she's finally done with the 12 mates that she has. I would love to see them all become fathers of their own children also. I'm glad grandma has finally woken up so now we can get down to the nitty gritty because questions need answers and more lives need saving.💜💜

What a cliffhanger!
Just as we are about to get answers bam! She throws that cliffhanger at us. All my theories have to wait now until I can read the next and final book. I enjoy these books so much I don't want them to end. These books are smutty and funny with a little bit of dark and a great storyline. A must read for people who love sci-fi fantasy pnr with mm, aliens, multiple mates and men with weird/extra appendages
