W W II espionage at its best .

There is a well developed story line and characterization of fictional and real historical figures, adding depth and enhancing the plot development. My one concern is that the editing is not on par with the writing . There are many grammatical errors, typos, and a few wowzers! Example, in this volume, although my comments span the series, there is mention during this era, of the final football game in early December between the NY Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers! I would add that many of the Kindle unlimited books that I’ve read share in this failing, to a greater or lesser extent. Once I’ve accepted this as part of the deal and climbed down off my grammar police high-horse, the reading becomes more enjoyable. I still catch some doozies, but it’s more entertainment than displeasure. It shouldn’t detract from the story being told, unless you’re a Dodgers fan! lol.

World War 2 Espionage, Duplicitous Spies

Resilience is the 5th volumn of Jana Patient's The Man from MI5 & each volumn just gets better & better. Brinley Knight is agent with MI5, the military intelligence section for " homeland security.". There are also the big players in this book, Churchill, Roosevelt, William Donovan. It is packed with espionage & duplicitous spies with just a touch of romance. This series takes a different approach to the fight against the Nazis & World War 2 I have read most of Petken's work & have yet to be disappointed. I can't wait for volumn #6. If you haven' read the earlier books in the series, you might want to start from the beginning of the series as each book picks up from the previous one. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Good series

Alot of this series is very dark and hard to read. The workings of the MI 5 and MI 6 are very interesting. I know that the parts that are hard to read happened but it seems unbelievable. I recommend this series and Jana's other books.

A "too long" WWII tale.

The book was interesting, albeit a story grown a bit long in the tooth. I was under the misapprehension that "Resilience" was the final "chapter" of this rather drawn out tale. Here's hoping all ends are tied up in book 6.

Another great one

The tale just keeps spinning and twisting. A few characters are killed but the main ones remain. There are at least 3 storylines in this book.

Too much sniggering

Story is Good and description of scenery breathtaking. But takes the highs and lowes of the spies almost unbelievable. Now am glad there will be Ending.
