The Lovel in My Marriage
My mother told me my husband will have another woman at one point in our marriage.
It’s in a man’s nature and I should only pray for respect- she says with so much sadness in her heart.
I had hoped he will be faithful.
I wanted him to be faithful.

Perhaps it’s not about who we love, but rather, how they love us and our darkness- hidden from the world, that allows us to challenge what we knew and embrace what is- to live our true authentic lives and face our unorthodox desires not with shame but with curiosity and open-mindedness.
