“Starfinity” by Kartik Batra is a sci-fi story that makes you question reality. The world is experiencing strange weather changes, and there's alarming news that the moon is drifting away. Natural disasters are everywhere and a mission to save Earth is in progress. Surprisingly, this mission isn't to save humanity. The book makes you wonder if we are just avatars in a fake world and if our existence is real or just an illusion.

The story starts with the main character waking up in what seems like a normal world. But he has strange experiences, like seeing advanced technology that vanishes when he blinks. He finds an old book in his college library about Mars' first flight, but when he returns for it, the book is missing and not even listed in the library records. This mystery deepens his curiosity and confusion.

As the story progresses, time seems to stop, and reality starts to warp. The protagonist experiences a vivid dream where he sees the universe's structure, with rings of planets and galaxies colliding. This dream feels so real that when he wakes up, he finds out there was an actual earthquake.

In the epilogue, a year later, the protagonist's memories of these strange events have faded, but one night, he has another vivid dream about space. He sees the universe's rings again, and they collide, causing a real-life earthquake. This blend of dreams and reality leaves him scared of losing his companion.

Starfinity makes readers think deeply about the nature of reality and the universe. Is Starfinity the key to understanding our world, or is it the greatest deception?

This book is a perfect read for sci-fi lovers, it mixes reality and illusion in an interesting way. The author’s creative storytelling keeps readers hooked. I personally recommend this book to all.

"Starfinity: Journey Beyond Universe"
by Kartik Batra
5 outof 5 🌟
The presents a mesmerizing voyage into a cosmos fraught with existential dilemmas and cosmic mysteries. As Earth grapples with erratic climate changes and natural disasters, the moon's unsettling drift away serves as a harbinger of an impending cosmic shift. Batra masterfully entwines these events to set a stage that is both familiar and unnervingly alien. The novel’s core lies in its exploration of reality itself. Batra challenges the reader to question the fabric of their existence, weaving a narrative that suggests humanity may be nothing more than avatars within a grand, deceptive simulation. This philosophical underpinning propels the story beyond mere science fiction, delving into realms that question the essence of consciousness and the nature of the universe. The plot’s pivot—a mission to save Earth not for humanity but for another purpose—introduces a fresh and provocative twist. It underscores a narrative that is unafraid to defy conventions, pushing readers to rethink their assumptions about survival and purpose. The connection between two souls in a realm of shadows and timeless voids adds a poignant layer, suggesting that human bonds might hold the key to understanding deeper truths about existence.Batra’s vivid descriptions and intricate world-building immerse the reader in a universe where the lines between reality and illusion blur. The philosophical musings are balanced with action and suspense, making "Starfinity" not just a speculative treatise but also a gripping adventure. In questioning whether Starfinity is the key to our reality or its greatest deception, Batra leaves readers contemplating long after the final page is turned. This novel is a profound reflection on the infinite possibilities and the hidden depths of the universe.

"Starfinity" by Kartik Batra is a fascinating sci-fi thriller taking the readers on a voyage through space and time, deep into the unknown, in a gripping adventure.

The story starts with the protagonist Ethan experiencing strange happenings, from dreams on waking up in the distant future to getting caught in a time loop. The strange events continue till he wakes up in the future and find himself as a member of a secret society found to save the planet from disaster. Earth’s moon is drifting away causing erratic weather and natural disaster and saving humanity has become a race against time. Will Ethan be able to succeed in his mission?

The story is sci-fi thriller blending different elements from time travel, space travel, parallel universes and much more. Right from the start, the story blurs the line between reality and fiction as you are unsure of what’s real and what’s fiction. The story unfolds slowly as the protagonist faces increasingly difficult challenges and the twists and turns keep you engaged till the end. The story ends on an intriguing note and it will be interesting to see if we get to read the sequel in the future.

The narrative is fast paced and the story incorporates several elements like time travel and parallel words, which may get difficult to grasp all at once. The story is unique, which is both thrilling and thought provoking at the same time. The characters are well crafted, though a backstory for some of them would had helped. The best thing about the book is the complete blurring of lines between reality and illusion and you are not sure of what’s real and what’s fake, making you questioning your own judgement.

Overall, ‘Starfinity’ is a compelling Sci-fi thriller that keeps you hooked till the end. A great read for fans of the sci-fi genre.

This book is a really exciting sci-fi novel. The story starts with the main character noticing strange things, like advanced technology disappearing and a book about Mars' first flight vanishing from the library. These weird events make him curious and confused.

As the story goes on, time seems to freeze and reality starts to blur. The main character has vivid dreams about the universe, with planets and galaxies crashing into each other. These dreams feel so real that they match up with real earthquakes, making it hard for him to tell what's real and what's a dream.

The book then shifts to a mission where the main character and four others are chosen to save Earth, but not for humanity's sake. On their journey to another planet, the main character feels alone and betrayed by his best friend, which gives him trust issues. They end up on an alien planet where they are experimented on, and the main character meets Ava, a character from a parallel universe. Together, they face many dangers and near-death experiences but stay focused on saving Earth.

They visit different planets, some friendly and some dangerous, and discover their powers just when they are about to give up. The story is full of action, suspense, and emotional moments.

Even though I'm not usually a sci-fi fan, I really enjoyed this book. The language is simple and easy to understand, making it great for beginners. Kartik Batra's debut novel is impressive, and I'm excited to see what he writes next. This book is perfect for the new generation, with relatable language and themes. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and thought-provoking sci-fi adventure.

This book is about how the world is going to end because of the moon going further away. There is war happening everywhere and the male protagonist has been chosen to save the world with four other members who will be sent to another planet and save the world….
When they are on their way to the planet he feels isolated by his best friend and also is betrayed by him so his trust is broken in friendship and it gives him trust issues for lifetime. Then they find themselves on different planet and with aliens who are experimenting on them and there he meets our female protagonist -Ava they start working together as they have same goal to protect their earth as she is from parallel universe.
They meet a lot of obstacles on their way and they almost die many times but they never stop and continue their journey and they reach new planets some are good some are evil but they don’t leave each other’s side and fight everything together. They become aware of their powers when they lose hope and protect each other.
In total you are in for a ride with this book. I liked it but I am not a big fan of sci fi genre but I liked it. It was very easy to read and understand. If you want a book to start your reading journey this one is for you as the English is easy to grasp and understand.
This is work of Kartik Batra and I must say it was quiet nice and I liked how it was more for the new generation kind as it has many new words that this generation prefers. I am excited to read more of his books.

Have you ever wondered what might happen if the moon started drifting away from Earth, triggering a quest to save humanity?
Starfinity: Journey Beyond Universe by debut author Kartik Batra explores this intriguing scenario with both imagination and depth.

The novel opens with Earth in crisis due to erratic weather and natural disasters caused by the moon’s drift. The plot centers on a mission to save the planet, but with a twist: it’s not just about saving humanity. As the protagonist undertakes this mission, the story delves into whether our existence is merely a façade, setting up a fascinating exploration of reality versus illusion.

From the journey to one planet to another planet, the main character met with a girl Ava from a parallel universe. Together, they fought with numerous dangers, aliens or some friendly peoples. The story is full of action, suspense, and emotional moments.

Batra’s writing is vivid and engaging, blending straightforward prose with rich descriptions of space adventures and parallel universes. The narrative flows smoothly between action and introspection, immersing readers in a unique sci-fi world. The characters, particularly the protagonist and his relationship with Ava, are well-developed and add emotional depth.

While the pacing experiences some slow patches, the final chapters deliver a satisfying climax. The book’s themes of reality, trust, and existential inquiry enrich the narrative. The story begins with Ethan waking up and going to school, having an unusual day with both his robotics teacher and his crush missing the day. Ethan finds out he is living the exact same day again and again and his only friend Scott is also missing.Later he finds himself in a secret society along with those three missing people, and they're all on a mission to find the truth of the world.

The lines between reality and illusion are blurred in this tale. The novel presents a dramatic portrayal of a world facing extreme weather changes and mounting natural disasters. Amidst this all, news emerges that the moon is drifting away, but humanity remains largely unaware. A chance meeting between two souls could hold the key to unraveling these cosmic mysteries.

The story is an amalgamation of science fiction and fantasy. We get to witness unique settings, simulations, artificial dreams and the tropes of 'the chosen one' and 'clueless protagonist'. With professional editing this book will become a good contender in the science fiction genre, with a story that's easy to read and connect. An engaging story with intriguing ideas, but there are areas where the execution could be more polished. Certainly a great debut with a cool title, from a young writer showcasing his talent and creativity.

The story unfolds in a setting marked by extreme weather conditions, swinging between bone-chilling winters and blistering heatwaves, compounded by the alarming news of the moon drifting away from Earth. Amidst relentless natural disasters, a mission is launched to save Earth, but shockingly, it’s not for humanity's sake.

Author's narrative delves into profound questions about our existence, suggesting we might be mere avatars in a fabricated reality.

This intriguing premise challenges readers to question the nature of reality and our place within it. The story ventures into a world of shadows and a timeless void, where a chance encounter between two souls—or perhaps not so chance—sparks an unexpected connection that could hold the key to unraveling the truth about our universe.

The novel's strength lies in its ability to blend real-world elements with speculative fiction. Batra's exploration of the structure of the universe and the concept of Starfinity as either the key to our reality or the ultimate deception is both captivating and thought-provoking.

The young author successfully creates a narrative that is engaging for the new generation, using contemporary language and themes that resonate with younger readers.

This book is a must-read for those who enjoy a blend of science fiction, philosophy, and engaging storytelling.

"Starfinity: Journey Beyond Universe" by Kartik Batra surprised me in more ways than one. The concept of the moon drifting away while the world experiences extreme weather changes immediately caught my attention. It’s such a fresh take on the science fiction genre, and I was excited to see how the story would unfold.

One thing that stood out to me was the relationship between the two main characters. Their bond felt genuine and added a personal touch to the cosmic mystery. It’s rare to find a sci-fi book that balances human emotion with mind-bending concepts so well.

Batra does a fantastic job of weaving together themes of reality and illusion. Are we living in a real world or just a simulated one? These questions are explored in a way that feels natural and intriguing. I found myself questioning the nature of our existence, which is exactly what I want from a good sci-fi book.

The pacing was perfect for me. There was just enough action to keep things exciting, but it also allowed space for reflection and deeper thinking. Batra’s writing is easy to follow, yet it challenges you to think beyond the surface.

If you’re into sci-fi with a philosophical twist, give Starfinity a shot. It’s a thought-provoking adventure that keeps you guessing until the very end.
