I felt like the author put in a lot of background on the characters and didn't rush the story. Though this is very much a Christian romance, much of the story is made up of Cassie's hardened heart toward God, and Lee's desire for her to be with him, but to be on better terms with God, first. I love the miracle that occurs between Dierdre and Cassie; I didn't think it was unrealistic, as I have seen things like that happen before. The book does not make it seem as though there were no more conflicts, but the main hurdles to overcome in the book were concluded.
