Starting Over with Her One-Night Mistake is book two in the Starting Over Trilogy and it is the story of Brienne and Daxton. This book is a steamy, small town, second chance, single dad, forced proximity romance with a love story that is designed and built to last.
Five years ago, Brienne and Daxton shared one perfect night together, no name, no promises, just enjoy each other and then walk away. Now, Brienne is launching her own interior design firm and is trying to avoid any distractions that could derail her plans.
Daxton has spent the last several years caring for his daughter, attempting to outrun the grief of his wife's death and restoring old homes. A lucrative new contract could finally make his dream property a reality but the project comes with one surprise he never saw coming, the woman from his past that he has never forgotten.
Working together on this project was never their plan, nor was attempting to ignore the intense chemistry they both still share. Late night renovations, shared moments with his daughter and an antique auction begin to make Brienne and Daxton see that what they shared five years ago was not a fluke but can Brienne breakdown her walls and see the possibility of a future with Daxton?
The chemistry between Brienne and Daxton is so absolutely steamy and the way that Natasha wrote the progression of their relationship and gave it the time it needed to flourish. There was such an emotional connection between the characters and the HEA was well earned and deserved. I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers who love a great storyline, amazing characters with funny and spicy moments.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
