I see ghosts. They’re everywhere. They are the victims of violent crimes whose cases haven’t been solved. Once they realize I can see them, they beg me to find justice for them so they can rest. Except one. My sister, Debra. She was ten and I was six when we were kidnapped. The monster held us for a week and did horrible things to her before we tried to make our escape. He caught us and killed my sister brutally. I barely survived. That was when the ghosts came. Our case was never solved so Deb became my constant companion. My secret solace and best friend. I wasn’t looking to solve our case when I came back home. I just wanted to face these demons in my mind and quit living in fear. Then we met Jane. A sweet little ghost girl whose case might be linked to ours. Will solving her case help find the monster who did this to us? Or will he find me first to finish the job?
First and foremost, thank you Robin for allowing me to ARC read this!
I loved this book. It was a suspense/murder mystery with a side of Ghost Whisperer and I am here for it.
The MFC goes through a tragedy when she was a little girl, which gives her the ability to see and talk to murder victims. Yes, she can see and speak to ghost. Her first ghost, her own sister who died protecting her while they were both held captive.
The book follows an adult Diane, who is now a journalist who comes home after her father dies to go through his house. Until she meets a ghost known as Jane. Jane Doe. She is determined to find out who Jane Doe really is and what happened to her and how she is related to her very own unsolved case. Diane will have to face her living nightmare in order to stop the monster who killed her sister, and almost killed her, in order to solve Jane Doe’s death and so much more.
This book delivers on so many levels. I wasn’t able to identify who the person was and going back there were indicators, but I hustled breezed over them.
This was an arc read What a book! If you love a good thriller with a mixture of supernatural, then this is the book for you! Meet Diane a journalist, 20 years ago her & her sister deb, were kidnapped & unfortunately deb wasn't as lucky as Diane & was murdered, now Diane is back in their home town with the ghost of deb accompying her to solve the case & report about an unnamed child who was murdered 30 years ago & whose ghost lives in the graveyard deb is buried in. Will they solve the case & uncover the unnamed child's murderer and who she actually is? Is this murder connected to Diane & debs kidnap/ murder? Is everything as it seems in this little tight-knit community? And is Diane safe being back in the community? All the way through the book, I had no clue who did what & who was connected to what, but when I found out right at the end, it was a proper omg moment! This book has left me wanting more & I need book 2 asap as I have so many questions that need answers!!
I devoured this book! Little Miss Jane has quickly become my all time favorite book.
The Sixth Sense x Gilmore Girls Robin did so well providing depth for each and every character. My brain was spinning the whole time trying to solve the case. I suspected literally everyone at one point or another. I laughed and cried more than once. I cannot wait for book 2!

ARC Review I’m so grateful for this author, who kindly gifted me an e-ARC of this novel, in exchange for an honest review. And, honestly? I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I think it’s hard to write ‘ghost stories’ well, but Robin Rhoden is superb. The story is hard-hitting at times, with some aspects of the plot difficult to read, but it made it all the more realistic. The “who done it” is written remarkably well & I genuinely didn’t know who! 🤯 I cared about the characters, I couldn’t wait to read on & I bought the whole thing.
This story is unique & a great thriller. If you’re looking for a heartbreaking but extremely creepy thriller, PICK THIS UP 🩸
Heart wrenching, suspenseful, and lovely describe this book well. The plot is wonderfully portrayed and I fell in love with more than one character. I think I suspected everyone at some point but once the "monster" is revealed it all made sense. I am eagerly waiting to read the next book!

I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book when I first started. I like my murder mysteries pretty gritty and I was worried this wasn’t going to live up to my high expectations. I have been spoiled by Greer Hendricks. Well, my fears were unfounded and I ended up devouring this book. This book was amazing and I enjoyed every single minute of it. The best part of it was the accurate representation of anxiety and panic attacks. I haven’t read such an amazing anxiety representation since I read Turtles All the Way Down by John Green.
The main character, Diane, survived a kidnapping but has major PTSD and panic attacks from it. As I mentioned above, Diane’s panic attacks were so accurately represented. The symptoms were spot on, at least for me. Everything about her panic attacks was written so perfectly. I appreciate that even though Diane is healed (for the most part), she still has bad days. And I appreciate that the love interest didn’t fix it. He was there to help her but his love didn’t fix everything. Too often, I see that in books and it drives me nuts. I just saw myself in Diane a lot. Her anxiety was my anxiety on the page and I truly appreciated the representation.
The plot was well done. There were two plots but I felt they both were done well and they were both pretty different but in a good way. They kind of overlapped but I never felt confused at all. I was equally invested in both plot lines. To be honest, I just enjoyed the main character a lot so anything she did, I was with her.
Overall, I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It had everything I wanted in a book. The plot was well done. The anxiety rep was some of the best I’ve seen in a while. The main character and her love interest were so cute, I could have gushed about them for days. Overall, I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the second book.
