Ryan
When I met my soulmate five years ago, it was truly love at first sight. As soon as he whispered my name, he became my world. And Nikki and I have deeply bonded, except in the way I have always yearned for.

Nikki
I want Ryan, and he wants me too. Then why doesn’t my body behave the way I want it to? Where are my memories, and why does my body have a mind of its own?

Before we can find answers we seek about ourselves, the world of Tasier intrudes and we are hurdled across the world on an adventure. Will our bond be strong enough to survive the darkness that surrounds us?

This is part 3 of the series set in the universe of Tasier, a secret organization of people with supernatural abilities. Can be read standalone, but some of the background story about Tasier would be better understood if read in sequence.

Arian lives in the nostalgic rainy city of Seattle in the Pacific Northwest of the US with their loving partner, five adorable stuffed penguins, all with their own proper names, and one imaginary Maine Coon cat.

They began writing romance novels in high school primarily to entertain their romance reading buddies, but it soon became their hobby and passion. They've just never been confident enough until later in their life to put themself out there.

They love to live in their own head and vicariously experience the lives of their characters. How else would they be able to live half a dozen lives at once?

They're grateful for their caring partner who’s been nothing but encouraging despite them spending hours inside their head.

I love this series because the world is just so interesting. Love to discover different abilities, see the people from past books and get to know other or see more of others
This was no different. Loved to see Eric and Bhas, can't wait to get to know some knew characters ... and hopefully we get Ash's book soon.

But this book was mainly about Ryan and Nikki . These two are a sweet couple and I really liked to see their story unfold.
Although I did not connect easily with Nikki, he was very interesting. Especially the second half of the book has a lot of new developments.

I am really looking forward to the next book ... it will be interesting to see which couple gets the floor first 😉
As a hint, I would also like to see Naz and Nials story

I am grateful that I got the opportunity to read an ARC but my opinion is honest and mine

This is the third in the Tasier series, I'd highly recommend reading 1 & 2 first because you'll meet practically all the main players in this book before it starts, and it's a continued story arc. Plus they're all really good too.

This is Nikki and Ryan's story, I was looking forward to this from the first time I met Nikki and Ryan in the other books. It also continues the other couples stories and the overarching Tasier story while expanding on it. First though, I'm going to take a minute to appreciate the world building in these books. Tasier is a fully realised organisation, and while it all occurs in our world it's so cleverly weaved in you could really believe it might actually be real. Same for the abilities the characters have, especially with the reveal in the last book of their origin, the whole atar thing is so brilliantly done. Soulmates/Fated mates I can usually take or leave but the way the author has done it in this series, I really like.

Nikki's story isn't straightforward, he and Ryan are soulmates - atarav - but nothing more than platonic for 5 years although both want more. I loved Nikki from the other books, Ryan I didn't get to know until this book but they were an absolute perfect match, balancing the other out. This is of course once we got past the twist of Nikki's story and finding out his abilities and history. I'm trying not to put spoilers here because Nikki's history is the crux of this story, driving the narrative forward and advancing the Tasier story as a whole.

I loved Nikki and Ryan, loved seeing Bhas, Eric, Ash, Sett, Chael, Saf and the others again. I NEED Saf's story too (that's a massive hint 😉 )

More please! I'm not done with Tasier just yet.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Ryan and Nikki's romance was sugary sweet, with an overload of cuddles and heartfelt emotions. They may not have had as many steamy bits as some of the other couples, but the depth of their love connection was wonderfully satisfying. In addition, this book had some of the most surprising plot twists and daring escapes of the entire series. I was very excited to see the action pick up in such a meaningful way. Atar powers were on full display in a way they haven't been before, and I loved getting to learn more about how all the different abilities interacted with each other.

I may have been reading this story too quickly, but I didn't find the resolution of Ari's plotline very satisfying. I think my confusion came from the assumption that he was being set up as the "big bad" of the universe, when it turns out the Kahar are much slipperier and harder to pin down than that. The whole concept of the "unquantifiable darkness" is frankly terrifying, and despite their attempts to vanquish it, I'm not convinced. The Kahar gave up way too easily after that last battle, and everything is telling me that this sense of peace can't last for long.

If there was ever any doubt about how much Ryan and Nikki loved each other, the sheer magnitude of their sacrifices in this story put that all to rest. Amnesia was a big part of their story, but not in the conventional way, and that made the progression of their relationship both excited and unexpected. I still can't believe some of the truths revealed in this book, but I do know there's no way I can walk away until the threats against Tasier are fully removed.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

great continuation of the series

A continuation of the Tasier series, I strongly recommend reading books 1 and 2 before reading this one because you'll get to know most of the characters before the story begins and it's a continuation of the story arc. And to top it all off, they're all excellent.

As soon as I first met Nikki and Ryan in the other books, I was eager to read their story. The Tasier saga is not only continued but also expanded upon in this novel. First and foremost, I'd like to take a moment to appreciate the world-building in these books. Despite the fact that Tasier takes place in the real world, it's so cleverly woven in that you could almost believe it to be true. This is true of the characters' abilities as well, especially when it comes to the revelation of their origins in the final book. I'm not usually a fan of soulmates or destined partners, but the author's approach in this series has grown on me.

Ryan and Nikki are atarav - soulmates - but they've been platonic for the past five years, despite the fact that they both want more. Nikki and Ryan were a perfect match, balancing each other out and bringing out the best in each other. This is, of course, after we've discovered Nikki's abilities and history after his story's twist. This story revolves around Nikki's past, and I don't want to give away too much of her backstory because it's so important to the development of the Tasier story.

'Remembrance Lost' by Arian Williams is the third book in the Tasier series. Be sure you read the first two before you dive into this one. They will keep enthralled from beginning to end.

Such a wonderful addition to the first two Tasier novels. The are characters from the two previous books along with new ones joining our heroes, as questions are answered and families reunited.

Seoul becomes a focal point and amnesia leads us to learn more about the past. Teleportation takes place world wide and Saf is busy transporting people, some from his own past. When a hacker needs rescuing, several members of Tasier comes to help, with many surprises as a result.

Two of the most interesting points... I fell in love with the coffee thermos messages. The Kahar...who trained themselves to feel nothing while using threads of darkness to control others.

I certainly hope there are more books coming. Sam needs to be reunited with his soulmate and I need to know more about the future of Nikki/Niklaus and Ryan.

Nikki and Ryan’s story is an intriguing friends-to-lovers romance with an unexpected dash of mystery, not just on the part of the Tasier world itself, but also closer to home. Nikki is full of surprises! This story is faster paced than the others in the series and has a bit more action and suspense. The core message of the story about love between soulmates being so all-encompassing it transcends the physical is a beautiful one, and it was written in a very original way. As always, I was enchanted by the whole atarav concept, the worldbuilding and the romance between the two MC’s, but I was also very pleased to find out what was happening with the story arc that continues from one book to the next in this series. I loved returning to Tasier, reconnecting with old favorites and getting the teasing glimpses of stories to come.

Do yourself a favor and read the first two in the series first. This is a continued story arch, and you’ll meet those characters within the story. This is Nikki and Ryan’s story. I have been looking forward to this one for sooo long, or it just seems like it! These stories seem to be getting better and better!! Loved so many little things in the story but the one that stuck out at me was the messages! There are so many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming!! I loved all the side characters! Overall, a phenomenal read! The story was really well written, the pacing flowed smoothly, highly recommend. The story kept me engaged, I literally could NOT put it down. This is my favourite "haven't got a clue what's going on" series that I've read, I totally love it. I honestly don't get it at all but I just love the writing and can't stop reading once I start the books. I'm so immersed in the world of words that I feel like I've been reading for hours, but will finish the books in one sitting and then once I finish the book I'm desperately disappointed because they just aren't long enough! I'm so glad that there are more of these to come.

This is a twisting tale of love, hate, time, space, light, dark, pizza eating, being friends and looking after each other.

I totally recommend it, and the rest of the series xx

This is the third book in the Tasier series and I recommend you read them in order as many characters show up in each book. This one focuses on Ryan and Nikki. They met when they were 16 and each recognized they were soulmates. You get to find out more of Nikki’s backstory and how they finally developed their relationship. Great world building and lots of different magical abilities. If you haven’t read these books, I highly recommend.

This series is kind of complicated with a whole alternate universe, and it’s been a while since I read book 2, so it took me a bit to get back in the swing of things and remember all the characters and how they relate to each other. This book was good, with lots of action and adventure, and some heavy emotions of loss and grief. Ultimately there is an HEA, or at least HFN, which felt hard-won. Recommended, but definitely not a standalone! Read book 1 and 2 first!

He became a part of their family but he has no memories of who he is and where he comes from. He sees them as something more but he is unsure if the feelings he is having for them. He is not even sure if they are even gay. Will they take that next step? Will he remember who he is? What will happen if he does remember? Follow him to see how it all goes

I love this fantastic series! This is book three, and it's best to read books 1 and 2 first. The world-building and characters are phenomenal. Ryan and Nikki such sweet characters and so good together. The story is great, with action, adventure, danger, missing memories, revelations, and twists and turns. I loved seeing the couples from the other books and how they all work together. Looking forward to more from this world.

Every book in this series gets better than the last one. It's well written with a great storyline, it's as a standalone but they all read better together. The MC's are great together and there are so many twists and turns in the story. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

Nikki and Ryan were wonderful characters, their story adds so much to this richly imagined world. I highly recommend reading the previous books first because of the over all series arc that is woven through them all. A fantastic addition.

This Tasier series just keeps getting better and better. Each book cam be read as a standalone, but you'll understand a lot more if you read them in order. Ryan & Nikki are such an amazing couple, and their story brought tears to my eyes several times. There are so many surprises and twists in this book that you want be coming. I'm always up for an amnesia story (too many soap operas as a youngster) but this one is extra special. Here we get lots more information about who Nikki really is and there is enough action, mystery and adventure for several books. The author never loses control of all the plot elements, however, nor is character development and the depth of Ryan's and Nikki's commitment slighted. A great entry in the series.

I am really enjoying this series! This book focuses on Ryan and Nikki, but there are storylines that carry over through the series (best read in order as part of a series). Ryan and Nikki have long known they are soulmates yet they face many difficulties before they get their HEA. I like that we see so much of the other characters, that their lives overlap. I am really curious about future books in the series, too.

My Recommendation: Meh. It's not a bad book, but I think I've lost interest in the series and that's saying something when this one has more action and more revelations than the last two combined! I'm struggling with the romance aspect, which is vital to the storyline, and the sex aspect which is tangentially connected to the romance but feels out of place. The characters are interesting and the story moves forward, but not fast enough for me. The SciFi/Fantasy aspect of the series is much more engaging and if the sex was removed, I'd probably be more likely to keep reading, but this is where my journey stops.

My Response: When this one came in from Gay Romance Reviews I signed up for it since I'd read the first two books in the series ( Dream Bound and  Souls Aligned ).* I wasn't sure how this one would be after my mediocre response to Souls Aligned, but I grabbed it anyway.

This series is full of secret societies, aliens (I think?!), individuals with supernatural abilities, lots of gay relationships and sex, and really diverse locations/settings. Remembrance Lost definitely picked up on the action front, but in the end, I'm still sort of meh about where the series is.

Ryan was delighted to meet his soul mate at fifteen, even if his mate’s memories start at that time. Nikki was sixteen, an orphan with no memories. Five years later, their relationship has not progressed beyond sleeping together and cuddling. They have bonded in other ways. Then Tasier interferes with a hacker who needs recuing and a brother who needs saving. What they did not realize was that their bond would be tested to limits they may not survive.

Remembrance Lost takes us back into the other stories and you can relate to this one better if you read them first. There is so much going on and, unfortunately, so much danger. This one is a bit darker as Tasier members strive to save some of its members while redeeming another. How they do that is incredible! Nikki’s lost memories come back to haunt them and bring along a darkness that threatens everything Nikki and Ryan have been building together. Nikki, Ryan, and all the other members of Tasier are incredibly heroic. This series is amazing and not to be missed.

The romance here can stand alone, but it’s a good idea, if you haven’t already, to check out the previous books in the series: it will give you a chance to get to know many of the supporting characters and provide context for the larger world and events of the novel. For me, one of the series’ major strengths is its worldbuilding, and Tasier as an organization has a complex structure and a rich history that twines its way through pretty much every part of that world building. This book follows Nikki and Ryan’s romance, and it’s not always an easy road for these two, even though they’re soulmates. Throw in some amnesia, years of yearning behind the veneer of platonic friendship, and the complications offered by Nikki’s abilities and his past (no spoilers, see story for details) and the two of them have plenty to weather in order to be together. For interesting characters in an interesting world, this book is a good choice.

Remembrance Lost is the third book in the Tasier series. This book can be read standalone, but some of the background story about Tasier would be better understood if read in series order so why not enjoy the other books in the series. This is the story of Ryan and Nikki. I love this book and the series so much. I love how real the world and Tasier organization feels. I loved how we learn more about Nikki's history and abilities. I can't wait to see who gets the next book. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series as 5 star reads.

Ryan and Nikki (Niklaus) story continues the ongoing adventure with more danger, twists and turns, shenanigans, and new development that will change the perspective and the narrative.
New secrets come to light, hidden agendas, and unexpected reuniting of family members, as well as the significance of past events as they are given a new approach.
The true enemy is brought to light, and new allies join the group.
A new couple find their happiness, and new ones are on the making.
I enjoyed the story, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

The continuing series of Tasier and the men who are members. It's a good story with great world and character building. I really like all the special abilities the guys have. I like all the magic and fantasy parts of the story. The way they all help each other out. Ryan and Nikki are the main couple in this book but we do get to see the other couples too. I really hope Arian has more books planned in this world.

********** Contains Spoilers**********

I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was another good addition to the Tasier Series. I did notice a few errors but it didn’t distract from the enjoyment of this book. I really liked Ryan and Nikki’s story and seeing them get there happily ever after, which was hard won but totally worth it. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster that’s for sure. I’m really enjoying being able to immerse myself into the Tasier world that Arian has created.

I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next, especially after the events during this book. I’m glad that we got to see more of Chael who was introduced during the last book and my theory about him was correct. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues, as well as more books from Arian Williams in the future. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to others.
