"It was amazing." - 5 out of 5 star rating.

I am freakin' stunned how incredibly well done these last 3 comics within this series have been.

- Amazing Han + Chewie action
- Starship Fighter content in comic book form at its absolute best
- Depiction of Luke is actually something I am really loving
- Leia is the strong female leader delivered perfectly
- So much more

These are movie/film grade quality. I can only dream that the 17 issues to the right of this continue to be this good. We shall see!

Looing forward to #4 next!

Gripes with this series so far. Everyone is too hot. I want Star Wars not "hot interpretations of Star Wars characters". They're hot enough in the movie. Too many scene changes in one issue make for stilted reading in individual issues though as usual this will probably work better as a graphic novel. Overall it's a little slow paced but the payoff will come 15-20 issues into the series I have little doubt.

Positives. Strong focus on Leia who is both a rounded character and the most fleshed out character in this series. and it's heaps of fun. I'm enjoying being back in the "Classic Star Wars" universe with not too much interference from modern day EU stuff. It's still an expanded world, but all of the new characters and inventions are new and fit in with the OT movie era quite nicely.

Also, didn't take long to introduce a love interest for Luke. This worked in the much pulpier style Classic era comics that I read but I'm wondering if it'll be appropriate here.

Definitely one to be on board with and I'm glad I'm buying this right now.
