Their pretend relationship was never meant to spill over into real life...

Addy Abraham is successful and happily single. She's certainly not looking for love. When her best friend asks her to be her chief bridesmaid, Addy intends to decline, until declining becomes impossible and Addy finds herself enmeshed in the whirlwind leading up to the wedding with a best man who's sex on a stick.

Cooper Ellard has been there and done that with marriage, even has the scars to prove it. When he agrees to be the best man for his cousin's wedding it's purely for entertainment value. Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to be suddenly thrust into a pretend relationship with the hot-as-hell chief bridesmaid.

The terms are respectfully platonic. Sounds easy, right?

Join Addy and Cooper as they do their best to dodge and weave the fiery sparks each time they're together.

With the exception of the eight years spent living in Sydney and the Hunter Valley in NSW, I have spent all my time in Far North Queensland and this has undoubtedly shaped me and my writing. There is a different rhythm to life in the Tropics, which isn't unpleasant, although the intense heat definitely is (which is why I have now literally relocated to a mountain in Southern Queensland). I carried the idea for my first novel around with me for approximately ten years before finally completing it and haven't stopped since. My friends and family think I'm nuts because I get up at 4a.m. everyday to write, but that's the extremes that I am prepared to go to in pursuit of it, and an indication of how much I enjoy it.Reader feedback that they enjoyed the book, or couldn't put it down, or that it touched them on a personal level, or even that the family had to fend for themselves for dinner because they needed to get to the end, is all the encouragement that we writers need to keep on going. I can only hope that it gets better and better as time goes on.
