Today is the first day of the 2020 Kwanzaa celebration and I want to use that fact to call your attention to a series of books published by Bullfrog books. This Kwanzaa book is one of many that highlight celebrations and includes Hanukkah and Chinese New Year among many more. You can also check out books about occupations, animals, seasons, and other subjects. The books have engaging covers, full color photo illustrations, glossaries, and text that is accessible to early readers. Our Mid-Continent collection has over 100 titles from this publisher. This is an introductory picture explaining the meaning of Kwanzaa. The simple sentences and colorful pictures make it accessible for younger children. You will definitely need to supplement with other books about Kwanzaa, because it does not name the seven principles of the holiday.
