Tilly Lamboba has always dreamed of being a Knight. She has worked hard and then some just to gain an ounce of respect from those around her. Imagine her surprise when the day she was supposed to be Knighted, she's given the position of Chamber Guard of the Princess, Zaunia Rhododendron. Though she's disgruntled, Tilly does as she's told. It's the only way to continue rising through the ranks and keep her head on her shoulders. But will she ever be Knighted?
Princess Zaunia feels as though she's been locked away her entire life. Only learning about her kingdom through her mother. Her father and brother have the final say in her whereabouts though, she listens half the time. As the future Queen of a different kingdom with ties still to the one she was born in, Zaunia wants to to know her people. She's becoming restless. She's becoming rebellious.

Only to be pitted against men who only see the worst in their best intentions. Control and power can steer one's actions and cloud one's judgement.
