**As with all fan fiction, I have not seen the show so my rating and comments are based solely on the work**
This is some intense pet play with a strong focus on the training and dehumanization of Dean as he is taken into Donahue's coterie of cats. It is fascinating and the techniques outlined are very interesting. Loved the psychological conditioning reinforcement mechanisms. Truly intriguing. It was a very lonely story with Dean struggling then being taken and then drifting into his new persona of "Beautiful". For a short story it is well conceived and I enjoyed it. One part that I wish would have been clearer, but made absolute sense that it wasn't since the entire story is told from Dean's POV is his quick transition after his shots.
Worthwhile read for interested parties, but please view the warnings before hand as there are some elements that might not appeal.

- fanfiction, but I knew it going in, reading this story for a challenge
- child/parent pairing even in the slightest, totally understandable situation. Just.... NO.
Positive (so many things in this story trigger my "happy" switch!):
- kidnapping
- confusion and struggling upon arrival
- intense pet-play
- evil doctors
I wish it were an original story with more kink and more depth and background.

I am so torn on the rating. Liliaeth is a creative storyteller and her fanfics are compelling but most of it touches a taboo subject I am not keen on.
Truthfully this story is very addictive and the events is like a train wreck you couldn't look away. Because of this, I have to give this a 4 stars despite the sensitive subject within that I am not comfortable with. If only it does not have an underage MC it would have scored 4.5 to 5 stars. I have to ignore the stated age of the MC and go with the adult Dean as per the TV series for my own comfort.
What could I say? Petplay when done right is like crack to me. I am a total sucker for it.

A very well-written short story. I wonder if the author will do a sequel. Quite different but definitely has great potential to be taken further. Dean's real Dad was a hunter but a hunter of what? That and other questions roll around unanswered. If you can get over the fact the MC is underage this story hauls you in and keeps you reading through disbelief and WTF moments. Read in one sitting, couldn't put it down. Thanks Vivian for the rec.

This quite a story and just when I thought life was going to turn around for Dean the story ends saying the end of part 1. This "part" of the book was finished February 2012. I guess it is free so I should not complain but really I hate cliffhanger endings!
The author writes a great story if you do not mind there is no ending!
This story is about how Dean is brainwashed and trained to behave like a cat. The entire story was eerily intriguing and morbidly fascinating! I made Dean older in my head instead of a child that part was a bit strange but it is make believe so I was able to read without it bothering me.
