Ava: Part Three

Rate this book
I’m about to face the fight of my life with my mate by my side.

Every step we take, every decision we make, feels like the world is trying to tear us apart.

Loyalties will be tested, and friendships will fracture, but we must stand together—no matter the cost.

The lies we’ve been told, the secrets that have been buried, are all unravelling, and I’m forced to confront demons from my past and betrayals that hit closer to home than I ever expected.

As the stakes grow higher, I must make impossible choices to protect the people I love, and now I’ll pay the price. Staying with Zeke? It just might be lethal.

Part Three is a journey full of unexpected transformations and a love that could destroy them both. Who will be left standing? If you like enemies-to-lovers, fated mates, a lot of action and less steam, you'll enjoy this series.

I just.. I don’t get it. How does Ava manage not to give Mr Patrick away? She admits to not shielding her thoughts so how on earth is he not found out from her thoughts?

Thank fuck we finally got some action. Although I did want to slap this bitch. Someone tell her not everything is about her. Dexter didn’t die because of you, neither did Emily, they died because the councillors are evil fucks. Iulia should have died. Or Andrei should’ve stayed dead. Why should the evil councillors have a happy ending? Iulia was strengthening Hanssen and Ava didn’t want Zeke to kill her? Bitch shut the FUCK up and let Shadow do his thing. Ava clearly didn’t care much for Emily despite making her death seem like such a huge thing if she’s happy Andrei survives.

Calling her wolf insane for literally saving her life. SMH. I’d rather have Nyx’s POV than listen to her drivel. It doesn’t make sense why Nyx never revealed herself. I mean Ava didn’t know it had been her who’d killed those men as a pup.

And I can’t believe I’m saying this but there’s still no character growth. She’s so indecisive it drives me mad. On the one hand she’s willing to kill 5 students to save her dad but on the other she’s siding with Mr Patrick to bring down the president but worried and second guessing herself all day. Woman, just choose one and stick with it. Be confident in your decision.

There’s so many questions left unanswered. Does Zeke’s dad ever accept Ava? Does Jared get to live? Does the school system change? Do they ever hunt down Alpha Diego?

The series should’ve gone through a lot more editing before it was published. There’s so many typos and some sentences don’t make sense. But overall it’s a good read.

I won’t be reading anymore from this author though.

I think this took me the longest to read out of all three by at least double. As a matter fact, I read other books in between reading this one.
I lied to the characters in the beginning book so much and the second book just kind of lagged a little and this one it just felt very anti-climactic so it was harder for me to get through
The end is a happy for now type scenario and I checked out the author’s Instagram and she’s gonna be writing two more books of the series, but I don’t know if it’s still going to focus on the main characters that are in these three or not.
Undecided as of yet on whether or not, I will read the next two.

Don’t get me wrong. I really did like the first two books, but something rubbed off on me the wrong way in this one.

Throught the series it seemed like she was gaining so much power and when the time finally came it seemed to drag on so much. Even though she did tap into that power everything that happened before that moment just seemed like she was a weak woman who needed the ‘strong men’ around her to save her.

At the end of the book it also felt like so much information was missing. Weirdly enough it felt like there could be a whole 4th book. Or maybe something put into a prologue.

I would say 3.5 rating for the whole 3 part series. I thought this series was really well written and was such an interesting story line- I was hooked and read all three within 24 hours!

My main ick about the book is that, while the FMC is very strong and tough, for all three books she’s like the world’s punching bag. A FEW people warm up to her, but mostly everyone she encounters is a huge ass to her. Then most of the reason people started being nice to her towards the end is only because they were scared of her! And then even her own pack treated her horribly? Like damn, every wolf in the world is apparently so offended she’s a “human” that they all want to torment and kill her? I think all of the bullying and violence towards her was too much. At some point it’s gotta let up, and it can’t just be because she growled them all into submission.

Another irritation about the book is the lack of basically any communication from the FMC and MMC, not only with each other but with literally everyone. Zeke refused to tell anyone anything including his best friends unless it had gotten to life or death levels of them needing to know. And Ava spent like 1.5 books thinking Zeke killed someone when it was actually her! Why wouldn’t she bring up what happened in the village to him?

And it was really irritating that Ava was tearing herself apart for what happened in the village. Girl that was straight up self defense. And Grace tried to kill you like 4-5 times and nobody did a single thing to stop her. Get over yourself and quit being angsty over “paying for your crimes”. So there were a lot of irritating parts like that that were bordering on TSTL.

I will also say that this is NOT a smutty book. There is quite a bit of sexual tension and suggestive things said, but actual smut is never really described. Which is totally fine, just a note since that’s kind of unusual for these kinds of books.

SO SO GOOD

LET’S GET INTO IT—⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD 🚫‼️
FMC: Ava
MMC: Zeke

This last part in the Pheonix Academy series was PHENOMENAL!!! I’m glad the councilors decided to join the right side of things and that Andrei was okay in the end, even though he was ruthless with Emily.
I’m glad Nyx, Ava’s wolf gave her a little grief because Ava was very hard on her. Her wolf heard every negative thought she ever had and that had to be very hard. What Ava thought was a monster, she never stopped to consider Nyx was her savior. She didn’t go around and mindless kill people— she protected her when her life was in danger! I wish Ava had to grovel a bit more to let Nyx know how grateful for her she really was. I’m glad Mr. Patrick wasn’t a traitor, I was wary of him at first.
I never wanted this book to end. I was very sad when I realized I had finished it. There are 2 things I wish this last(?) installment included:
1. Ava shifting in front of home pack and putting the fear of god in them. The fact that even Zeke could hear them talking crap about her being home early, you can’t tell me Ava didn’t, or maybe she just didn’t care. However, it wasn’t fair to her. She should’ve had her moment to let them know they’d all screwed up by being bullies to her, her entire life. I know she’s not that type of vindictive person, but Nyx deserves respect.
2. I would’ve loved to have seen Zeke take Ava to his home pack and see how that played out. When his father realized that Ava was an Alpha just like Zeke- and watch as he trembled in fear. I’d love to know what also planned on happening with Jared.

Just a few details I’d love cleared up, but overall this was an excellent read. I’ll definitely re-read this series again! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't know where to start

I found this book on a Facebook add. I have not read in a while. But men I shouldn't have read not even a word. I lost sleep because I couldn't stop. I loved how the story went through every detail, first building their relation, finding herself, and accepting who she really is. Three books but I didn't care, I couldn't stop reading. For me to write a review is because it was that good.

This serious was too long. Ultimately this could have been one book. Some of the scenes were long for no reason and didn’t contribute to the plot. I also feel like as the final book there was too much questions still left and the ending was too open ended. I don’t think I’d read another book by this author

Is there a book 4? The series felt like it ended abruptly. Agree with the rest of the comments saying it really drags out. There is room for so much more story development and unexplained plot lines. Gemini claims there is a book 4 but I cannot find it anywhere.
