Her friends warned her that she shouldn't take the job bartending at that "biker bar", but Madison knew exactly what she was getting into. At least, she thought she did. She'd grown up in a sheltered household, but she'd watched Sons of Anarchy on TV, she was sure she knew what she was getting into. But when it came down to it, and two tough bikers from the bar wanted to take her into the back room, she starting having second thoughts...
WARNING: This story contains adult situations some readers may find offensive. This is a rough and motorcycle tale involving explicit sex and graphic language and is intended for adults only.
There were several things that bothered me about this story. First of all, she was only sheltered from violence in her life because she certainly had knowledge and experience about everything else. I guess these people didn't worry about pregnancites or an STD since condoms were never used, especially when sharing partners. She had no problem with sleeping with all of the guys in the club if that is what it took to be with Dax in the end. The club basically had a policy of gang rape and didn't think twice about it, she obviously didn't think too highly of herself if she was willing to sleep with anybody and everyone, male or female.
Still wondering whether I liked these characters or not. I did like Dax a little bit though, he seemed more trusting then what Madison was. Madison just seemed to be content with becoming a bikers chick and I don't think it would have mattered who it was. She certainly didn't seem too worried about loyalties to Dax.
DNF. I like MC books but this one was a little too gritty for me. I only completed about 25% of the book and so far it just seems like straight porn. I'm all for hot sex scenes in a book, but this was too much. Also, the heroines thoughts were just irritating the hell out of me!! Oh! And there's was no protection used in any of these sex scenes. EEEEWWWW..
5% story, 95% fecking. Not worth buying or reading. I kept hoping the author's ability to actually write a story would appear but it didn't. Also the editing was non-existent. There were multiple errors in every facet of the English language.
I love MC books, but this one was a bit strange to me. I can't get into most of it without giving away spoilers, which I refuse to do, but I'll try. There seemed to be a majority of the club that was against the president and vp, their antiquated rule regarding the new ol' ladies, most of what they had the club into, but no one did anything to stop them. There seemed to be more loyalty to certain people, rather than the club itself.
After that changed, the story seemed to be getting better, until all the hard core sex started. I'm not a prude, don't care about anyone's kinks, etc..., but this seemed over the top for the story. Yes, the book starts out with a M/F/M threesome, but then there's M/F/F, F/F/F, F/F, & two couples in the same room. I'm personally not a fan of F/F, so I did skip over these parts in the book. It's not that there is anything wrong with this, it's just not something that I enjoy reading.
This book had angst, intense situations, violence, death, betrayal, drama, insta-lust, and some surprise twists. Some of the characters were interesting and I would've liked to known more about them. Aside from the multiple sex scenes, I enjoyed this part of the book, hence the 3 stars. However, these are just my opinions and personal preferences.
I have read many of this authors books and I have loved most of them. I will continue to read her work, as I have found that she is a very talented author and creates some amazing stories.
As much as I love a MC book...this one fell flat. The intimate scenes were hot and pretty graphic but there was not really a story. It just felt like segue way, sex scene, segue way, sex scene. I had a really hard time getting through this book and I almost didn't finish it. There just wasn't a connection to the characters for me and that is an important part of a good book for me. I can't recommend this book.
Not impressed at all. This book is basically a bad porno. Unprotected sex with multiple partners that she doesn't even like. Only made it through the first 100 pages or so.
Let's just shag everyone and everywhere! Way too much too quick. Definitely not up there with my favourite biker books. Only read it as it was a freebie. Glad I never bought it.
