Oh my goodness, this second chance romance was so freaking good!!

Ezra and Brie have an undeniable attraction but have never been able to act on it because Ezra is the head chef at her families restaurant. The rules were: do not touch my daughters… but after one date in the kitchen that rule seemed to be one that Ezra wanted to break.

Ezra has had a traumatic past. He needed to escape his old town.. so he ended up working for the Delatou’s and moving is son and father with him. His son is his biggest priority. He can’t be sidetracked by anything, including love.

These two realize that it isn’t the right time… until 2 years later when Ezra can’t handle being away anymore, but Brie doesn’t know if she could ever forgive him for the way he broke her. Can they ever overcome their past and be together?

The freaking emotions I went through reading this book… giggling, sweating ( the spice is FOR REAL y’all ), sobbing, and throwing my kindle… but it was all worth it in the end.

Tropes:
-second chance
-he’s the chef X she’s the baker
-forbidden romance
-single dad

ARC Review!

I really enjoyed the first part of this book! I loved that we got to go back in time to see how Brie & Ezra first met and I also really liked seeing their friendship/relationship develop. They had a lot of very cute and sweet moments and I was really surprised with how outgoing their characters were. They don’t talk a whole lot in the first two books so I expected them to be more reserved and introverted so that was a super fun surprise.

I lost interest in the second half, which was definitely a bummer. Some parts were very repetitive, I didn’t understand why it took so long for them to get together after they had both separately decided that they wanted to give it another shot, and then the spicy scenes were just a little too much for me and I had to skim through them or skip entirely haha. Overall I just feel a little disappointed because I really wanted to love it.

I LOVED this book! Usually if an author does a flash forward/flashback it’s quick but THIS… this book had a wonderful part 1 and part 2 for its flashback and flash forward. I appreciated the time that was spent writing so much of part 1 because it wasn’t a rushed backstory. Part 2 had plenty of plot as well so it didn’t feel like it was slapped together and then done. It was nice to see how the timelines lined up amongst the 3 stories Amanda Chaperone has written in the Love on the Vine series thus far. I am so excited to read the last one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would recommend and will definitely reread.

Thank you Amanda Chaperon for the opportunity to ARC your book. Can’t wait to add my print copy to my trophy bookshelf.

ARC REVIEW

I absolutely adored Perfect Pairing! The storytelling was flawless, and the characters, as well as their relationships, were crafted beautifully.

This chef x baker, small-town romance, filled with the charm of a single dad, secret relationship, and second-chance love, had me hooked from the start. Told through dual POV, it offers such rich insight into both Brie and Ezra’s worlds.

I couldn’t help but fall for little Hansen—he’s the heart-meltingly sweet boy who stole every scene he was in!

Brie and Ezra’s emotional journey had me on a rollercoaster, and I was beyond thrilled to see them get the happy ending they both truly deserved! The way Brie’s relationship with her sisters and parents was portrayed added so much depth to her character, making her even more relatable.

The undeniable chemistry between Ezra and Brie sizzled from the start, but with Ezra being the head chef at her family’s restaurant, those feelings had to stay hidden—at least for a while. The “no touching my daughters” rule stood firm until one electrifying date in the kitchen, when everything began to shift.

Though circumstances weren’t in their favor at first, two years later, Ezra realizes he can no longer stay away. But Brie still carries the weight of the heartbreak he left behind, unsure if she can ever forgive him for breaking her heart.

I loved every page of this book, and the way it tugged at my heartstrings made it a truly unforgettable read.

Perfect Pairing is the third book in the Love on the Vine Series.

Releases September 19

Out of the three books this one is hands down my favorite! I recommend reading the first two books first so you are familiar with the series and story of the Delatou family.

This third book follows Ezra, the in-house chef at the winery, and Brie, the youngest of five siblings and a talented baker. It’s a beautifully crafted two-part story—the first part gives you the perfect glimpse into their past, and the second part picks up right where the series left off.

Ezra absolutely stole my heart! The way he loves his son and father just melts me. Having grown up without a mother and now being divorced, watching him open up his heart again is so incredibly moving.

And then there’s Brie—she’s unstoppable! Watching her grow, step into her role in the family business, and lead with her heart was such a joy. She knows exactly what she wants, and I loved every bit of her journey.

“For those who would rather risk a broken heart than never love at all”.

I can’t say I ever read a book about a baker and chef small town romance so this was a first for me. There’s a slight age gap between Brie and Ezra and he’s a single dad who moved to Brie’s small town to work as a chef in her family’s winery. She opens a bakery in town and they are both dealing with a lot in their personal lives as well as in their life together as a potential couple. Super cute read and I’m sad I got busy and couldn’t read it sooner.

ARC review. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book earlier! The perfect pairing I was a little nervous going into it reading it on my phone but omg I couldn’t stop reading this book. The more I read the more I was consumed by it, how the characters grew and how they learned from their decisions. It made me giggle and cry all in one, it was “bittersweet”!

Second chance romance, single dad, forbidden love and small town. Sign me upppp!

I have to say I adore Ezra. He’s that all around amazing man as a son, father and spouse. Brie I love her feisty attitude and her go getter mentality. I really liked that he’s a chef and she’s a baker. Their chemistry from the beginning was amazing.🔥🔥🔥

I love this whole series and each sister’s story just gets better and better! I’m trying not to say too much so I don’t spoil anything but if you need a romance that will give you all the feel good vibes here ya go!

Perfect Pairing is the third book from Amanda Chaperon's Love on the Vine series. If you've been following the series (as you should), we finally get the history between Ezra and Brie, and they do not disappoint. There is so much chemistry between these two, and they're the perfect definition of soulmates. The journey there wasn't straightforward to them, and they had some hurdles that had me in tears, but gosh, it was worth the wait!

I don't want to give anything away! 🙃 Do me a favor and just read this book! I can't wait for Ellie's book! (That SOS text and that meeting at the end with you know who moving next to her! 🤞🤞🤞🤞‼️‼️‼️)

I'll forever think of these moments.

•Ezra & Rik's conversation. 💖
• “I’m Hansen, and I’m a boy.” 🥹
• Brie calling Ellie. 😭
• “He doesn’t,” she said, nodding at me, “but I do.” *🎤 drop*
• “It was everything.” 🥺
• “It wouldn’t have been shackles, honey. Not with you. With you…it would’ve been wings.” 😭😭😭
• Lena Delatou 👑

• Ellie's SOS text 😲

This is my first ARC from Amanda and I will keep going back for more. Oh My Goodness.

This book was what I was waiting for! Ezra and Brie’s story was one that I had been excited and looking forward to reading. There was so much chemistry between the characters and the characters themselves were built so well. Absolutely love second chance, if they are written well, like this storyline is. Such a good book!

Perfect Pairing is the third book in the Love on the Vine Series, and I’m absolutely static to continue to learn so much about the Delatou sisters and their family.

Out of all three books, which I absolutely love so much, this story was absolutely my favorite. I loved that we got to start from the very beginning and learn about Brie and Ezra’s backstory, find out the details of their relationship and then explore this beautifully written second chance romance that they share.

There’s so much chemistry and connection between these two and they are just so beautiful together. From the moment they lock eyes, it’s clear that they are soulmates destined to be together no matter what. Their journey in part one is so beautiful and the connection they have spans across long distance, and I just love the string that pulls them together. Then there’s some hiccups and bumps in the road which absolutely had me sobbing but also was so exquisitely written. The emotional toll it takes on them, the journey they take in part two to come back to eachother and to trust each other is so beautiful.

The spice was on point, their chemistry was unmatched, the found family shared was beautiful, and I love love love that while Ezra puts his son first as a single father, it’s Brie that’s his whole world and he will do anything to prove it to her. I was swooning for him from the first page and he did not disappoint. And Brie, she is such a badass queen, who’s gone through some traumas of her own, which make her stronger but also more vulnerable and I just love her character arc. Without spoilers, she goes through some trauma, and her healing process and how Ezra is there for her in my opinion is so beautifully written and talked about. Her thoughts are valid and real, and the way he loves her through it anyway instantly melts my heart. They were everything!

I also loved the continued journey we got for the rest of the sisters and I’m so excited to get Ella’s story next 🤞🤞

Thank you so much to Amanda for sharing these stories and allowing me to be part of the ARC journey !!

Book #3 of Love on the Vine Series

This is my first time reading a book by Amanda Chaperon and I love her wirtting style, and I had the pleasure of reading this book as an Advance Reader Copy ✨ This book put me through an emotional roller coaster. giggling, sweating (the spice is FOR REAL y'all), sobbing, and throwing my phone but it was all worth it in the end.

Brie is a sassy little baker. She's the baby of the family, but hates being coddled or treated like the baby! She's funny and sweet! She's vulnerable with those she's close to and kind to everyone else! I feel like many people can relate to Brie and her growth throughout the book.

Ezra is an incredible chef who will take the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Ezra has had a traumatic past. He needed to escape his old town.. so he ended up working for the Delatou's and moving is son and father with him. He loves his son more than anything else in the world, and will sacrifice his own happiness for that little boy, and he nearly does.

Brie & Ezra realize that it isn't the right time... until 2 years later when Ezra can't handle being away anymore, but Brie doesn't know if she could ever forgive him for the way he broke her heart, she doesn’t know if can trust him again.

There's so much chemistry and connection between these two and they are just so beautiful together. From the moment they lock eyes, it's clear that they are soulmates destined to be together no matter what. The two of them do have some hiccups and bumps in the road. The emotional toll it takes on them, the journey they take in part two to come back to eachother and to trust each other is so beautiful.

I can't express how freaking adorable this story is. In the beginning, we see how instantly connected Brie and Ezra are. Smitten and hopeful of something beginning. Then it ends. Much to everyone's misery. Second chances, single dad. and a found family. This story has it all. Plus don't forget my personal favorite chef x baker.

Ezra our single dad who had his heart broken by his ex. Hanson has been his priority for years, even at the expense of his own happiness. He's a wiz in the kitchen, and everyone in the community happily welcomes him. Brie and him have a special bond. He made the mistake of breaking things off with her. Out of fear and guilt. He realized his mistake and did everything he could to rectify it. After Brie made him grovel a little bit for it.

Brie, the youngest of the clan. The most skillful baker in the group, she knew exactly what she wanted And with enough determination she did it. She opened a successful bakery in her hometown and made a name for herself. Not that she needed too. Everyone that mattered to her knew the truth already. It was so fun seeing these two build their relationship. They're perfect for one another. The perfect pairing. (I loved it when she said that).

This family, these sisters. The whole family is so precious. I enjoyed every moment of this story. Even their breakup. It showed how much they were able to grow on their own. So they could get back together and last this time around.

This story made me so happy. I demolished this story. I can't wait to hear the next sister's story. And I'm going to have to go check out the first two as well . I think Ezra and Brie will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have no words. no notes.

cry count: 4 times

amanda, miss ma’am. brie & ezra are my favorites. truly.

book 3 follows ezra, the winery Chef & Brie, the youngest Delatou daughter & baker. ezra is trying to figure out life for him & his son after everything they have been through & Brie is finding herself after finishing school & going through a once in a life time internship. instant attraction is how you’d describe ezra & brie’s first interaction & it only gets hotter & heavier from there. they both have this crazy mutual respect for each other that I love even if I hated it sometimes.

while their connection was instant it was also a slow fall. the attraction was immediate & I loved seeing both their POV’s while Brie was in chicago for her internship. they both felt something they knew they needed to explore. their love was so precious & slow yet slow & beautiful. even if my heart got broken a couple times in the process as well as their own. the pining. the connection. the CHEMISTRY between the chef & the baker was as I love to say *chefs kiss*. I loved the cooking scenes & the spicy goodie scenes *fanning self*, the added spice with things they both loved. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

also daddy ezra!!!! his little boy hansen was a sweetheart. ezra may have not realized how good of a dad he truly was, but hansen sure showed him in every way he was & how hansen loved brie <3

brie & ezra both had insecurities that they each complimented & helped each other with & supported with no bullshit. what could be wrong?

the family dynamic in these books is something special. I love the Delatou family something fierce & I will forever wish I lived in Apple Blossom Bay & be able to go to Chateau Delatou, Brie’s Bakery & the Distillery!!!

This is my first book by this author and definitely won't be my last! Normally I wouldn't start a series on book three but I couldn't resist the tropes for this one!! It is a small town, dual POV, single dad, baker x chef, second chance, secret relationship, found family kind of story that has no third act breakup and is full of open door spice! "Honey" x "Yes, Chef" *fans face*. Brie and Ezra had the absolute perfect insta-chemistry and it just snowballed from there! From their cooking "date" to their SOS phone conversations and more to two years later when they reconnected and regained trust, I could not get enough! Their spicy scenes were scorching hot and not what I expected! Erza's situation as a single dad was so unique compares to others I've seen before. I loved how him and his own dad connected over them being dealt tough situations and worked together to make thier lives better. Hansen was so cute and I loved that the author highlighted him as he was growing up but not mixed into their relationship. Brie being the baby of the family was protected the most by her dad and her sisters but she is more of a free spirit like her mom and held her own for her career and their relationship! There are so many things I loved about this book but to keep it spoiler free, I will just say that I fell for both of their families right away and them together as a couple! This is a must read and I can't wait to go back and read the first two books!

Ezra & Brie!!! I was totally smitten with these two. Seriously.. who knew I’d come to love small town romance so much?! This is a mash up of friends to lovers, to just friends and a second chance at lovers. It worked so well!

Double foodies in our MMCs too?! The best of both worlds, a man who can cook you what your heart desires and a woman who can bake any treat better than you’ve ever had.

Ezra!!! I swoon for this man! Loved every moment of him.

I really enjoyed the slow evolution of this couple. While there was spice leading up to them together, we watched 2 people become the best of friends and come to rely on each other for so much more. And then we have to watch them navigate years before they can be together.
The family bond is one of my favorite things about this story too. The sisters are so different, but come together to support each other.

Next up is Ella!! Looking forward to it.

This was so sweet and it really hit my feelings.
Ezra and Brie liked each other since the first moment they met but they couldn't be together because of her father and because Ezra wanted to make his son a priority (as he should)
Years later, Ezra decides he will finally make her his because his son is grown and her father is no longer his boss.
The years apart were rough but at the same time, it was time they needed to grow more into themselves.
I really liked their relationship and how after their met, there was nobody else for either of them. The time was wrong but the person was right. It was so satisfying finally seeing them get the time right

This will now be my second arc received from Amanda, and thank you SO much. It feels so good to be back in this universe and the romance delivered!! I’m usually extremely picky with my second chance romances because sometimes they’re done in a way I don’t find the most tasteful, but this one was executed so well. I adore both of the main characters and loved the buildup of their relationship. Ugh, so good!!

I will say the story was interesting and I love when books jump between perspectives of the love interests, HOWEVER…I just think it’s so hard to believe that a woman so young would be willing to sign up to play step-mom to a kid she doesn’t really know. Also, I desperately need p*ssy to leave the vocabulary of romance writers especially when it’s supposed to be dialogue from the man. C*nt is gonna have to go, too actually.

This book was such a cute read. I loved the dual pov of the main characters and being able to see them separately from each other. Also, I really liked the basically, lack of proximity. They started getting to know each other through straight communication because they lived in different places. They really got to know each other’s hearts and who they were as a person and a professional instead of just jumping in to a physical relationship. that part was a bonus for them.

I give this book a solid 4 because of one very specific part that, as a parent, I didn’t like BUT the rest of it was pretty deserving of 5 stars.

Brie’s story is #3 of Love on Vine series but can definitely can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the others but can’t wait to dive into the stories Amanda wrote.

If you love big families who meddle, second chance romance, forced proximity, and love at first sight, you’ll love this.

Some of my favorite parts were the date with Damian and strawberries 🍓

Amanda Chaperon strikes again and I am here for it.

🧁I love the Delatou family. All of them. The relationship between the sisters and their parents is so beautiful.
🧁Amanda Chaperon kills it when writing strong female main characters. Brie is a bad ass chick who finds her partner and I love that.
🧁I thought Owen would hold steady as my ABB book boyfriend but Ezra gives him a run for his money.
🧁I really love how connected the series is and how elements of the first two books are woven into this one and instead of the stories picking up where one left off, they overlap and fill in gaps. It makes you feel even more immersed in the book.
🧁I also liked the past to present timeline and seeing the build up of their relationship. You felt all the build up angst. I was apprehensive about the second chance romance aspect but this was well done.
🧁The found family aspect for Ezra and Hansen (and Rik, really) was so heart warming.
🧁There is no third act break up. Enough said.

Do not let this cover fool you, Chef has a dirty mouth. Just how I like it.

Ezra has had a rough go in the past. Falling in love, becoming a dad, and having his wife ruin him. He moves to a new town to take a chef job at a winery and meets the youngest daughter of the owner. Ezra and Brie have electricity from the start, but like every good love story, it is not easy. Don’t forget my favorite character, Rik (Ezra’s dad) has some pretty great lines that kept me giggling! Plus you fall for sweet Henson

Although their relationship (whether friendly or otherwise) gave me SEVERE whiplash, it was a cute book! 😂😂

I loved the family dynamic that is presented in the entire book by EVERY character. No one gets left behind and that was a pretty good story for me 🤍🤍

Overall 4 stars, I need to read the other books in the series as well!
