The Wolf:

Red Falls has never felt like home to me. The darkness hidden literally beneath the town has always left a sick feeling in my stomach. Sure, I’m not so great myself, I have secrets of my own. I hadn’t felt the need to sink the whole town down just yet, that is until I saw her. The first time I saw little red I knew she would be mine. I bid my time watching and waiting for just the right moment and when the darkness tried to take her, I knew the time had come to burn it all down.

Ana:

I just didn’t want to be alone anymore. After every person I loved died, how was I supposed to survive being all alone in the world? How could they leave me? I thought the loneliness would consume me until one day, I felt him watching me. He set a trap I couldn’t resist, and I helplessly fell into it.

Warning: This is a dark romance novel and contains dark adult themes that may be triggering for some. The full list of trigger warnings can be found in the beginning of the book.

Wolfe is the first book in an interconnected series. It can be read as a standalone. The couple in this book will get their HEA but the plot continues in the next book with a different couple.

A short and quick dark stalker romance book! It was smutty and sexy ⛓️🖤✨

‼️no cheating, no ow drama, heroine is a virgin as usual ( I don't know why authors like to make their heroine's virgin all the freaking time) 😤🙄‼️

Fun little read! Reece was hilarious, Ana was honestly just going with the flow and Caden was so yummy. The ending when he made her say her wedding vows while they …..😫😫😫 🌶️🌶️😜💦💦

I’d give the spice rating a 4 out of 5 🌶️

Also little side note (loved the inverted nipple rep)

Excited for the next book 🤗

Love this book! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ This type of genre might not be everyone's cup of tea but I do not care I genuinely enjoyed it. I would compare the darkness of this book to Hooked and I feel like this book is not as dark compared to some other books I have read. Girl the spice in this book. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wished it could have been longer so that we could see more of Ana and Caden's relationship growth but it was a really good quick read. The ending was a bit rushed but I really enjoyed it still.

I hope there is a book for Reece. I would not mind reading his book too.

Cannot wait to see more books by this author♥️♥️♥️

God…idk what Krissy put in this, but I ate this sh*t up. I just so happened to stumble upon this on KU. And holy hell I’m glad that I did 🥵

Caden 👏🏻 f*cking 👏🏻 Wolfe is a new book boyfriend of mine. And Anastasia was so innocent before him. The chapters are short, which I love. I could not put it down. The prologue had me hooked immediately. It’s fast-paced because it’s only 196 pages. I was fully invested in Wolfe for the vibes, entertainment, and Caden of course! 😜 The plot is equally as good as the smut!

what you’ll find in Wolfe:
-dual POV
-stalker romance
-possessive MMC
-innocent v!rg!n FMC
-primal play
-age gap
-mafia
-secret society/cult
-br33ding k!nk
-praise k!nk
-“who did this to you?”
-“eyes on me”
-“good girl”

Protect your mental health and check the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book 🫶🏻

Friendly reminder: just because someone reads or writes dark romance DOES NOT mean they condone the behavior or situations in real life. Please remember that these books are fiction. 🩵

REMEMBER IT’S AVAILABLE ON KU 🥵 run don’t walk

I do love a good stalker book. I was intrigued where this book would go with the stalker aspect.
The stalker aspect was a little light. Not in a bad way considering the length of the book.
This book for it's size was paced quite well.
I really liked Caden and Ana as a couple I think their chemistry was well done and believable.
Reece and Ana really did suit the brother and sister vibe, and considering what happened to Reece's sister that made sense on his part.
What I was glad about was that Caden didn't keep his father's involvement in the death of Ana's parents away from her.
It showed how much he respected her in the way he wanted her to know everything even knowing it may make her fear him potentially.
The resolution between Caden and his dad was a little underwhelming and I was hoping for more punishment for all he put Cade through as well as Ana.
I really hope that with the way it ended there will be a story that delves into Reece finally getting justice and revenge for his sister and finding someone of his own.

For a debut with such a short book, I was impressed with the writing.

There are still some aspects to improve, such as character development and problem solving (which were too easy in this book), but I think the number of pages is largely to blame.

I wish the story had fewer things and that the author had focused on just a couple of things in a more in-depth and less fleeting way. But I understand because it's a debut.

Wolfe would benefit greatly from another 200 or 300 pages.

The book suffers from repetitions of some terms ("after all", getting hard instantly, etc.), but nothing that can't be adjusted in future books.

It was an interesting read.
I generally don't like stalker stories, but I thought it was pretty ok here.

I really liked the characters, I'll keep an eye on future releases.

I can tell the author wanted to include more world building. Most details were reduced to mere time skips and that made the connection between characters seem disingenuous.

A gripping start to the Red Falls series with fiery possessiveness and intense encounters. It’s not perfect, but the twisted romance keeps you hooked.
