This is a novella written in the form of a blog. This book is a mishmash of fiction and reality. Many of the events are based on real events, some are expanded upon and some are just fiction. Though probably not the ones you would think. Don't ask me which is which. I'll never tell.
I wrote this story over several years and published part of it as blog of my own exactly the way Claire would have. One friend of mine found it, thought it was real and contacted me about it. It made me realize there are a LOT of blogs out there. And it seems that one small needle in a blog haystack is really pretty anonymous, especially if you were to disguise where it came from, which I didn't.
I had also spoken with the police at my local 78th precinct in Brooklyn to find out the procedure they would follow in a case such as this one. The detective there was incredibly helpful and informative. And I researched stalking and stalkers exhaustively online, including some of my own experiences. It turns out that a lot of people do everything wrong.
Back cover blurb: What happens when someone gives themselves to you, heart and soul... and you don't want them? And what if they also have big problems dealing with that reality. And then they stalk you. What would you do? It's not like in the movies. Anyone can be pushed too far. Anyone.
Also contains a bonus horror short story, They Always Come Back.
