Interesting, and felt very in-depth. I especially liked that it showed the tomb layouts/floor plans from multiple perspectives, but found the method of captioning photos annoying. I would have preferred the captions be next to the photo, rather than having to find the corresponding number.

Dit is wat men een salontafelboek noemt: glanzend papier, veel foto's, aangevuld met de nodige teksten en bijschriften.

Het geeft een overzicht van de verschillende graven in het Dal der Koningen in Egypte. Alle belangrijke farao's komen aan bod, hun leef- en regeerperiodes, de inrichting van hun graven, enz... Ook voor bepaalde tempels en de graven van de edelen uit die tijd is er plaats voorzien. Op het einde is er een woordenlijst en een korte literatuurlijst, voor wie die andere werken wil raadplegen.

Niet direct geschikt om van begin tot einde te lezen, wel informatief en interessant om tussendoor eens te bekijken en lezen.

Now here's a book about Egypt that goes beyond the basics that you find in most books. I LOVED it.
