Truly magnificent - Tiktok Reviewer ★★★★★ This made me cry tears of joy - Lady Fanny ★★★★ Vixen is my spirit vacuum - Cleaning Lady ★★★
Appreciated the digital screen for clear communication. Kind of loved that it was darker at some points, he did propose though at a wedding which is red flags all around.
Sometimes in life, we all need a release. For most, that's with a human partner, however for some, it's a vacuum. Such a beautiful romantic story, it was like reading Romeo and Juliet for the first time.
I too can only dream of one day finding my true love.
I want to preface this with the fact that I read a lot of sentient object smut. I enjoy it! I find a lot of it so silly and fun. So with that in mind let’s review dirtyboy and Penelope’s love story. First there is dubious consent from the vacuum who was created deliberately as a sentient vacuum to serve. Telling Penelope she is dirty and must be cleaned…. By the vacuum! Then they fall in love, queue bad lifetime movie now or those tv specials where the woman is married to a ghost or the man to a sex doll. But don’t worry it gets stranger from there!
Read as part of a book club for Short Unhinged Reads I found a real sweetness and tenderness to this love story but sadly I am a realist. Sooner or later, we all know that the brush bar in his power head will infuriatingly get clogged with her hair (draw your own conclusions) and bag or no bag, Dirtyboy, will eventually need emptying. In the words of some chilly monkeys, suck it and see, Penelope darling.
Okay genuinely did not kmow waht to expect from this book but turned out to be a really good fun read. A sentient hoiver develops a relationship with a woman honestly such a weird fun read
I have no idea how this author got this idea and how she got me to understand and actually feel….something for this, uh couple (?) but it worked in a weird twisted way Not for brains that are sane lol 😂 definitely for those who have a weird sense of humour and probably a broken brain like mine lol 😂
this book was a WILD ride. like need a glass of wine, wild ride 🤣 the whole time I was waiting for their love to turn him into a human… and nope ! instead they went to the wedding and did all sort of things as human and vacuum 🙂↕️ I giggled a lot and enjoyed it but it was definitely one to take non seriously (the ending felt like it dropped off spontaneously… literally)
It was an odd and mildly entertaining read. But the author was trying to hard to make the book work and it just didn't. A woman falls in love with a sentient vacuum and insists people just accept it. It's a really funny idea, but the book is written as though it should be a very serious legitimate love story.

I stumbled upon this since my algorithm had shown me the DNF series. BTW that is not this. This was in no was a great read, but it was quick and to the point. I did think is was cool that the vacuum had enough tech on the screen to openly speak with the FMC.
I read this because of a Facebook post and i honestly just have so many questions. I was expecting like some type of transformation and there wasn’t? Idk lol. It’s not for me

Well, I laughed through this whole entire book. It was the most interesting thing I have ever read and I can only hope the Vixen, keeps her mitts off Dirty Boy cause he is a taken vacuum.
…. Well…. Apparently I’m not as accepting as I thought, because if my friend wanted to bring her vacuum as a plus one to my wedding I think I’d have to object.
I loved every minute of it the same way that someone might love a good Chuck Tingle book. It really is a pallet cleanser, so I didn’t take it too seriously.
What the...and I can stress this enough... fuck did I just read. And why did I get so engrossed in this story and drama when the bitch vacuum showed up... 😂😂
