After a study date gone horribly wrong, Beth Moore is on a dating ban. So, of course, that’s when the hottest guys she’s ever been around in real life would walk into her life.
A few awkward encounters later, and those insanely hot men offer her the chance of a lifetime.
The job she’s always dreamt of is within her grasp. All she needs to do is say yes.
She’s not sure her heart can handle being around pack Esposito, but she’s starting to realize she can’t hide from her feelings forever, and it might just be time to admit they’ve won her over.
Of course, that’s when her ex, the Alpha who broke her heart, decides to show up, reminding her how dumb it is for a Beta to trust an Alpha.
These guys feel different, but is it ever possible for a Beta to have true mates?
Wanted Beta is a standalone sweet omegaverse romance with college-aged characters, serious steam and an HEA.
Beth goes to stay with her sister after a traumatic experience. Not expecting to run into a pack. Enzo, Gio, Jack and Arrow have opened a restaurant in hopes of starting something new and to give Enzo his dream. This pack was a mashup of designations AABO and swords were definitely crossing.
This story aggravated me to no end. I felt the story revolved around the male omega and not the female main character. He seemed to be the main focus of everyone in the pack and Beth’s ex Rourke. She seemed to be the after thought. This one wasn’t my favorite in this series so far.
I really enjoy Romy Lockhart’s writing so jumping into her sweet verse series was a no brainer. The characters fit together like a jigsaw puzzle coming together at long last. I like how the angst isn’t serious serious angst, bc then the book would be too heavy for the kinda of characters she wrote. However, the communication- or should I say the lack thereof- got me wanting to have a very stern talkin to these peeps! Don’t y’all just want peace and a HEA? Talk gdm! Lmao. There were plenty of cute moments that made me wanna swoon and some that made me wanna hide bc Beth felt a lil bit young to me (younger than she was stated) but I do know trauma and life experiences can have that effect on ppl. Anywho, this was quite enjoyable and I’m excited to see what comes next from Romy.
When she hadn't been with any of them by 80%, I really thought this was going to end on a cliffhanger. It didn't, but only because the author rushed to wrap it all up in the last 20%, including all of them forgiving the ex and deciding to bond. Before that, the entire book was just smut between the pre-established pack, annoyingly meandering inner thoughts, and them trying to fix their restaurant in ways that should have been completely obvious, like I got second hand embarrassment from how bad they were at basic things for their restaurant.
This pack is never all there for their omega's heat, and it was odd. They switched out periodically instead. This is among other things that showed they really weren't a cohesive pack, that were barely addressed before the story moved on. Many threads, like the band one of them is in, or the gambling addiction one struggles with, are just dropped after a certain point and we never see how the pack deals with it all because the last 20% was used in a scramble to bring them all together.
Omegaverse Why Choose Friends To Lovers Enemies To Lovers Beta FMC Male Omega Existing MM Ex Problems
Wanted Beta is a standalone omegaverse in a larger shared world. It can be read independently.
This was a sweet omegaverse novel that centered around a beta female who was struggling with the expectations of her family and recent traumatic events. She was in need of a confidence boost and a few people to love her exactly as she is.
Enter a completely besotted and fated pack consisting of two alphas, a delta, and an omega who will move mountains to show her just how much they want her and sparks fly.
Complications arise when a former flame reappears.
A sweet romance that is also a reverse harem. The author has written some great characters in this one. From past experiences Beth has little trust in men and especially Alphas. But just when she starts a no dating rule she meets some men that may make her change her mind. But her past seems to catch up with her. Can she trust this pull she feels? The story does get quite hot as it does include m/m relationships within the harem.
2⭐️ It was a little to boring i don’t know what to do with this book it’s a little meh, sure in the beginning it was interesting but that faded so fast I need a bit more action happening.
Unfortunately another omegaverse with MM and a male omega that means more to the pack than the FMC. You don't have to throw in a FMC just to call it a RH, it's perfectly acceptable to write a MMMM+ romance and leave it at that.
If you read the previous Sweetverse book then you might remember Beth, she was the girl Leanne (Secert's mom) rescued, well Wanted Beta is her story.
Beth reads a little younger than the other MFCs in this series. She is young and it shows but that's not a bad thing. Despite the trauma, Beth still has an upbeat, fun-loving personality. It took a minute to get used to. The guys were already pack before Beth arrived in their lives. The guys are great, Jack's positive personality matches Beth's fun personality and Arrow is an adorable omega.
I always learn something new about this world with every new book. I didn't realize exactly how little people know about designations. Prejudices against packs are a real thing and apparently, there is a new designation theory out there that I wouldn't mind Romy getting more into. I have questions and theories.
Such a good plot! I enjoyed the slight angst, cute misunderstandings, and adorable moments but don't be fooled this story started off with drama. Fate was waving a big red sign at Beth pointing her to her true mates, there were a couple of meet-cutes and one, let's say, surprising introduction, haha. However, communication was not any of the MCs' strong suits they found themselves in a predicament and I just wanted to scream and tell them what was up. The plot twist that is ... changes everything, talk about mind-blowing. I was losing it while reading chapters 77 and 78. It was just so unexpected, things could have gone either way.
Wanted Beta was great! I always enjoy a Romy omegaverse, I say keep'em coming.
This was a great book – I always wondered happened to Beth after she’d been kidnapped in the last book, and now I know! Beth moved in with her older sister after her incident to recover – but knows that life will never be the same. Especially when she keeps running into these guys who are beyond gorgeous and own a brand new Italian restaurant down the way. Except Jack, Arrow, Enzo and Gio who are all mated and are part of a pack aren’t sure where they went wrong with their restaurant since they aren’t getting business. It can’t be the food which is phenomenal, but when they meet Beth and realize that she is also a fated mate that they realize where they are going wrong.
They hire Beth to give them tips on how to get their business going while not telling her that they know she is theirs since they can tell she is gunshy. On top of everything Beth went thru recently, she is also wary of “fated mates” after her high school boyfriend, Roarke, told her they were fated then broke up with her – leaving her traumatized. But what she doesn’t know is that Roarke had a reason… and now that reason is no longer an issue and he wants her back.
What a clusterfuck. I hated how there were so many lies and lack of communications. The story focused mainly on Gio's pack and their relationships with each other while Beth was basically an outsider for almost 80% of the story. I hated how they were hiding their relationships and getting intimate around Beth without her knowing. It was super sleazy. And then everything was rushed once Rourke came along.
I didn't care for Rourke and would've preferred the story without him. I felt like he ruined the dynamic especially with how he took focus away from Beth. Also Rourke causes Arrow to go into heat which Beth wasn't even a part of. In some way I felt like the story focused more on Arrow. I really don't understand why he needed another mate. I also didn't like how he didn't care that Rourke had hurt two of his mates because Rourke made him feel good. I hated how Rourke was so easily accepted and forgiven by Arrow and Beth. They were basically thinking with their hoo ha. It was disrespectful to the other mates especially Gio. I felt like he was the only one in the right mind and wasn't clouded with impaired judgements.
Overall, the book was a disappointment and fell short. The pack's relationship's with the new members lacked depth.
Beth's story is here! Readers were left wondering what was going to happen to her after her bestie saved her from the closet of a messed up alpha. It turns out that she had her heart broken from another alpha a year before this disaster. Being kidnapped just convinced her to swear off men. Of course this is when she runs into a sweet beta giving out flyers to a new restaurant near her. This leads her to great food, attentive alphas, a sweet omega, a cool delta, and back in the path of her ex.
Beth is funny and resilient. I love all the little teasing moments that happen in this book. Her first introduction to Arrow and Enzo was hilarious. She definitely got more than she expected walking into the restaurant the first time. I also love the way Beth stands up for herself and follows her own path. I'm happy that someone else found his way in this story.
Another great book in this series and I look forward to what comes next.
If you read the previous Sweetverse book then you might remember Beth, she was the girl Leanne (Secert's mom) rescued, well Wanted Beta is her story.
Don’t want to give away too much, but Beth goes through some terrible heartache and trauma early on. Despite the trauma, Beth still has an upbeat, fun-loving personality.
Beth gets dumbed by her true mate, moves away to the big city to live with a sister, and meets four more true mates…. Not that she realizes it till way later on in the book. The guys are already pack before Beth arrived in their lives. Arrow: sweet male omega. Jack: fun, in a band, delta. Enzo: quiet chef alpha. Gio: lead alpha
This was such an amazing read! It had angst, drama, cute and smexy scenes, and definitely kept you on your toes. There is a plot twist, so beware. It does of course end in a HEA. I highly recommend reading!!!
we last saw Beth and she had been kidnapped by a guy trying to turn her into a 50's house wife. Now we get to see how she's doing after that. She's moving in with her older sister to recover from the kidnapping. She's trying to readjust to everything especially being around men. she keeps running into these hot men who own a restaurant. Jack, Arrow, Enzo and Gio are mated and dont know where they went wrong with their restaurant because its not getting business. Then they run in to Beth and bam she's their fated mate and they think they figured out where they went wrong. they hire Beth to help them improve their restaurant while trying to win her over. Shes hesitant over fated mates because her high school boyfriend told her they were fated then broke her heart, but twists among twists...he's back for her...what will happen next read to find out

Such a good plot! Beth moved in with her older sister after her incident to recover – but knows that life will never be the same. Jack, Arrow, Enzo and Gio who are all mated that are part of a pack who aren’t sure where they went wrong with their restaurant since they aren’t getting business. It can’t be the food which is phenomenal, but when they meet Beth and realize that she is also a fated mate they realize where they are going wrong. Poor Beth as if having 4 sexy mates wasn't hard enough to process her high school ex-boyfriend Rourke who broke her heart is still hanging around stalking her and wishing he never left her. Man this book was awesome, I fell in love with Beth and her mates from the first introduction to them, this is a must read for sure.
Loved loved loved getting Beth’s POV following the previous book in this series. This is a standalone and you definitely don’t need to read any of the other books to understand, you just get a different POV on her rescue from the “bad date”.
Beth had to heal from her pain a previous alpha caused her before she’s ready for a new relationship, little alone a whole pack. The guys all meet her in different ways that lead them all to the same place. She has no clue this pack are her fates mates because they are scared she will run when they tell her. Which fair, because she totally would’ve.
This pack helps her heal and even a surprise person comes around and really pulls the group together. Happy for that ending that really has everyone happier than even.
Beth’s story was really moving! Especially when she found out the truth about Rourke! Now Rourke was a jerk! I’m not gone tell you a lie! He didn’t have the KO my man Jack like that! Gio finally found him something worth more to him than his gambling addiction! Glad that turned out well for everyone! My good sexy man Enzo ugh i love him and i need him to come cook for me! Arrow! With his sweet naughty self! I’m glad Rourke was able to awaken his body again! I loved this whole book and the character development was great! Wished i had more time with Rourke outside of his stalkerish tendencies but the character development was still chefs kiss! Loved every minute!
I did enjoy this story and it kept me pretty interested for the most part. I only wish the last like 25% didn’t feel so rushed. I kind of felt like this book needed either 1) Some editing to cut things out or 2) Splitting this into two books or 3) Simply making the book longer. Beth just gave in and forgave too fast for me. She also moved into the relationships so fast considering she had bad experiences in the past. It didn’t even take her a week and when the climax happened where she had conflict with one of the MMCs, she literally forgave him and just immediately got over her fear in just a couple hours. It was just way too fast considering all the slow build up it had at the start.
Let me start by saying that after the three books I read before this one were practically PG-13, I probably should've sat in a freezer while reading this one! I hadn't read this author before and am still new to the idea of an omegaverse so I had no expectations and sweet omegaverse is definitely misleading, by IMO in a very good way. I really liked all the characters, especially Beth as she dealt with everything she'd been through. My only complaint is that I felt life it wrapped up kind of quick after taking its time to know the characters and the situation. I recommend to anyone that likes these genres.
Wanted Beta is a standalone book but some content crosses over to other books in The Sweet Omegaverse series so it's worth reading those too to get an idea what's going on.
Beta - Beth has had a few bad events happen in her life that have left her traumatised against men and Alphas in general. So when Beth gets a new start moving in with her sister things don't go to plan when her life becomes entangled with a sweet pack. Sigh I liked all of the guys but Omega - Arrow was my fav. He was sassy and endearing. He was the cause of trying to bring them all together. So far I've loved every book in The Sweet Omegaverse series and this book was a cracking addition to it.
The story line was interactive, it keeps you on the line waiting for the next hit. The characters are deep and you can feel them as you read. This book entrances you and makes you want to know what happens next with their pack. I love how the characters are so deeply different yet protective of each other. You feel what they are feeling as everything happens. The author makes you feel their struggles and problems they are dealing with, and their love and commitment to each other. You see them work as a team through the struggles they face . This is a book that I can read more than once.
This is the sixth book in this Sweet Omegaverse series and this time we get the story of Beth and her mates. Once again I was hooked right from the start and couldn't put it down until the end. Beth has very bad luck with her past relationships and doesn't believe that their is any such thing as fated mates but she meets some very sexy men that she cannot deny an attraction to. I love how the guys are with her as they try to figure out how to get he to trust in what they feel. Romy Lockhart does a great job with these stories and her character all always unique and well written. I can't wait to read the next book
Wanted Beta is another adorably sweet addition in the Sweet Omegaverse Romance! Standalone reads, each gives readers insight into a new set of characters to adore over. Beth is a beta with not the best luck with alphas. Her experiences have led her to need mates who will treat her right. In steps the Esposito pack, and boy, do they deliver just that! Beth deserved some sweet, and spicy, in her life, and the goodness from her true mates give her just that. I loved seeing her grow into herself the more time her confidence was boosted by them. This was a super sweet story and I loved seeing Beth get her HEA in the end. I always look forward to this author's Omegaverse book!
Wanted Beta by Romy Lockhart is the sixth book in this Sweet Omegaverse series and finally gives us everything we needed for Beth and her mates! If you’ve been dying for more of her story—buckle up because it’s here! And it did not disappoint!
After a traumatizing event, Beth moved in with her sister and is determined to embark on a new celibate life without any men, drama or trauma. However fate feels otherwise and keeps dropping her right in the midst of her men. Can she overcome her pain and hesitations to finally get her own HEA or is she destined to always be alone? Read on to find out for yourself!
Couldn't put this down, which is what I say about everything I've read by this author. This one gave me all the feels. Beth is truly trying to be done with relationships and men after a truly traumatic experience with someone she trusted. And now she finds herself in the big city, living with her sister and trying to just move on. She's determined to figure out her next steps in life and stumbles up not just all of her fated mates but also the ex that sent her down her current path.
If you're looking for love that doesn't quit and men who try and fail but ultimately put everything on the line to be with the one they love. This is it, truly a love conquers all story.
Beth was just a breath of fresh air in this Sweetverse installment. She works so hard to live in spite of fear from her past traumas and blossoms as the novel unfolds. I loved how her men met her at her level and filled her with the confidence to trust herself again. I only wish we got more of the awkward beginnings of cementing their pack. It was a beautiful build up and then just a quick view into the future. I feel the story would have resonated deeper if we got to see more of Beth’s contentment.
There are some dark topics discussed in this sorry so please take care of yourself and check content warnings.
We met Beth in a previous book when her crazy date kidnapped her and locked her in a closet. Now we get her story as she stays with her sister while trying to recover from the traumatic event. Fate is a funny thing because it leads her to one hot guy after the other. Only her first love who destroyed her hope in love has her questioning men and being a Beta she does identify her mates like an Alpha or Omega would. Also her past meets up with her present, can she find her forever through it all? You have to read to find out!!
When we first meet Beth, she is in high school and goes to a party where she meets a future alpha. He claims her as his mate and then years later; breaks up with her. She's living with her sister when she meets Jack and finds him really cute but doesn't get his name. Jack is in a pack with 3 other people, Enzo, Arrow, and Gio. Beth eventually meets everyone in Jack's pack after she initially is introduced to him. Arrow senses that Beth is their mate but she is terrified of being claimed as a mate because of the things her ex boyfriend/mate did to her. The boys decide to keep it from her and this back fires on her after Rourke shows back up. After a confrontation between Rourke and Jack - Beth runs away from them both. Jack claims Beth is their true Mate and that he couldn't possibly be Rourke's Mate. This amazing story does not stop there. to find out what happens.. I'm sorry but you're going to have to read this book! its excellent.
Romy gives us a wonderful book in this standalone story in the Sweet Omegaverse series. Beth, who we met in a previous story, is on a dating ban due to being traumatised by a classmate. Then she meets pack Esposito and they make it their mission to change her mind, but, of course, life isn't that easy! Dive into this wonderfully written book with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. I loved reading this story and highly recommend it. Don't miss out on this book!!
