Bomber

20-year-old Sadiq likes cars and girls, but now he is accused of terrorism.

As the clock ticks down to the detonation of a bomb in the city centre, dark forces congregate and Sadiq must make his choices, unaware that others may have made them for him. Can he alter his future? Can he stop the bomb? Does he want to stop the bomb?

A chilling, short suspense story with many twists, about divided loyalties and power.

Ex writer/director of promos and commercials, loving writing for the writing and not the pay - which is fortunate since I rarely get any!

I enjoy reading and writing the impossible made possible and in my writing use the vitality of cross-genre and magic realism to explore as many major themes as I can cram in, without slowing the storyline or plot development. It's what makes me happy and keeps me relatively sane. My son, when only five, asked me 'How can I be happy'? My answer was 'If what you are doing isn't working, stop doing it and do something else.' Not very clever perhaps, but anything else is madness.

Currently working on a third cross-genre novel which should be published within the year. Many thanks to Goodreaders who have downloaded my stories and extra thanks to those who have reviewed them - it's much appreciated.

An extremely well written short story I first read on Amazon. It reads like a mini thriller and is taut and suspenseful to the end. The main character is well painted and whatver we feel for extremism he is a sympathetic guy. One to keep - rare in a free book.

Good story, told well. I enjoyed this short a lot, it had all the elements of a thriller with some political comment and some humor. There was also a wham bam ending that had me guessing. Well worth a read and highly recommended.

This is a damn good little thriller lots of twists and hidden secrets. I was a little confused by the ending and had to re-read it but a thoroughly enjoyable read,( i was waiting for Jack Bauer to pop up and save the day! ) Excellent writing from this intelligent author. Definitely worth a read.

An excellent and well-written story. The twists are quite good and even when you think you know what's coming, you find that there's more than meets the eye.

The ending was a bit confusing and could have been more clear and explicit about what really happened. Otherwise, a very good story!

Now that was a good short story. 17 pages of insight into what makes this war on terrorism tick.
Good freebie, 16 pages or so, and I do enjoy the language so much. Both dialectal and foreign accents were masterfully portrayed. Yes, this is a skilled writer indeed.
