While waiting for their train, the old man thinks about how many people he has killed, so many he cannot count. He wonders why he must kill these people, why he is the one to do it and why he cannot stop.

This is a very strange book, it has you on the first page and you can't put it down. The writing style is great and the moment that you read the last line understanding dawns! Very good read.
