This is the third Porto-related book I've read in preparation for an upcoming trip, and it's by far the best. How brilliant to divide the city into explorable chunks (i.e. by neighborhoods)! It also had many suggestions for free or inexpensive things to do.

Depends what you want in a guidebook. I like more background, a deeper perspective - so this was absolutely not the guidebook for me
