ZERO STARS! Read other books by this author, skip this series, plagiarism, rushing, caricatures out of established fictional characters. I've read other books by this author, and I quite enjoyed them. But this series is appalling. I'm no Austen purist, I'm sure Miss Austen has no objections to reworking and having fun with stories, but this series is lazy and deplorable. Dear Authoress, please take your time and build a good story. You've done that with many books. Fire whomever flattered you by publishing this farce. Vanity publishing, indeed. Gothic is a fun genre, but you've rushed your story and stretched credulity beyond reason. I could not suspend reality enough for these books.
Second book in the series! Pace and writing is good. This follows Kitty and extends from the original. The first ‘ghost’ genre P&P I have read! I was expending it to be a mystery genre but nope- full out rake ghosts terrorizing Pemberley! 👻

I love anything to do with pride and prejudice was a good book and a good series to watch, but I kind of felt that this was abit boring, I enjoyed the fact of the ghosts in it, but it didn’t go in with the theme of Jane Austin, for me anyways.
