WELCOME TO REDEMPTION… ...where second chances don’t always come easy, but if you’re willing to try, anything is possible. A FAIR OF THE HEART Single mother Lauren Frazier can barely keep a roof over her head, let alone stop it from falling down around her. When handyman Caleb Hunter stops by for a haircut, he’s the answer to her prayers—and the attraction is instantaneous. Too bad her troublesome young son isn’t as thrilled to have Caleb hanging around. Old wounds have kept Caleb from returning to Redemption, but when he receives word of his mother’s death, guilt and regret bring him home for good. Though Lauren excites him like no woman ever has, she’s a package deal, and he’s not sure he’s prepared to take on a ready-made family. A FAIR TO REMEMBER Ready for a nice, quiet life in small town USA, reformed gang member Wes Carter feels Redemption is the perfect place to relocate his financial business. Tara Russell has decided to add some excitement to her life and get a little wild—no matter how uncomfortable it makes her or her overprotective family. They meet at the local fair one warm summer night and discover opposites attract for all the right reasons. Add a dash of Sugar in the form of an incorrigible Great Dane, and it’s destined to be A Fair To Remember.
THE PERFECT BLEND Carrie Lowell swears off men for good after nearly losing her business in a bitter divorce. She’s on the verge of bankruptcy when Matt Jacobs walks into her shop and offers sound—if unwanted—business advice. Financially he’s a godsend, but emotionally he’s a threat to the wall she’s built around her heart. Heir to a vast fortune, Jacob Spalding flees LA for Wisconsin to escape the scandalous nightmare his life has become. Now known as Matt Jacobs, he settles in to small town life and soon finds himself infatuated with the coffee shop owner across the street. Too bad the infuriating woman is as contrary as she is beautiful.
GROUNDS FOR CHANGE Charlie Russell lived with a secret for years, but guilt has pushed him to the breaking point. He meets psychologist Dana McClain and feels an instant connection that has nothing to do with his Great Dane, Sugar, spilling coffee down her shirt. Dana switched to counseling animals because she has a history of becoming too emotionally involved with her clients. She figures she’s safe helping Charlie with Sugar’s issues, until he reveals his secret and asks for help. She tells herself it's all about the dog, not the guy, but history has a way of repeating itself.
HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS Heiress Melinda Spalding is thrown for a loop when her brother relocates to the Midwest. Her parents even expand their business there and put her in charge of the project. Discovering she likes “Mayberry” is as shocking as her growing attraction to the local auto mechanic. But LA is where she belongs…or is home truly where the heart is? Drew Porter learned early on how heartless women can be—and when snooty “Lindy” Spalding skids into his life, she seems worst than most. An unlikely bond between their pets gives him an intriguing glimpse behind her pretentious attitude. Is there more to her than meets the eye, or should he run as fast as he can in the opposite direction? THE HEART OF THE MATTER Allie Daniels wants a family of her own, but she can’t have children. She hides her desolation from everyone—especially the town veterinarian, whose three-year-old is a painful reminder. Rick Wilde liked Allie back in high school, but life took them in different directions. Now a single parent, his interest in Allie is renewed despite the fact her shoulder is colder than the bitter winter wind. Brought together by an orphaned kitten, Allie is helpless to resist Lukas’ impish innocence and Rick’s charm. Does she risk her heart on an impossible dream, or will Rick’s desire for more kids devastate their future?
"A good romance novel is like a bubble bath: steamy, relaxing, and over way too soon." ~ Donna Marie Rogers
USA Today bestselling author Donna Marie Rogers inherited her love of romance from her mother. Romance novels, soap operas, Little House On the Prairie--her mother loved them all. And though it wasn't until years later Donna would come to understand her mother's fascination with Charles Ingalls, Donna's love of the romance genre is every bit as all-consuming.
A Chicago native, Donna now lives in beautiful Northeast Wisconsin with her husband and children. She's an avid gardener and home-canner, as well as an admitted reality TV junkie. Her passion to read is only exceeded by her passion to write, so when she's not doing the wife and mother thing, you can usually find her sitting at the computer, creating exciting, memorable characters, fresh new worlds, and always happily-ever-afters. Donna also writes erotic romance as Liza James.
I'd describe these more as novellas; they are bite-size, small town contemporary insta-love vignettes. Serviceable, and nothing to get too excited about except for the story about Lindy/Drew which has a sexual assault scene and DROPS THE PLOT THREAD OF THE THEFTS! For all the hero got het up about that, there's no further mention of it. Maybe it will come back up in Hannah's story? No idea, but that makes me crazy.
This book has six story of six couple who fall in love. Each book focus on one couple the now they fall in love and now they over come the problems in their lives. All six story are great. You can read all or just one on the beach.
I have really enjoyed this series. Every book is a stand-alone about a specific couple. The other people in the series make appearances in the book but only how they tie into the main story. No keeping track of unnecessary drama! The people in each book are written well with relatable problems and emotions. I am looking forward to continuing the series.
A Delightful set of books that I have enjoyed reading. The Authors write sweet love stories that continue to keep you seeing the characters in each other's stories. Totally a good time reading.
This is what I liked about this series. First of all since I am on a limited income, I get all my books free on Readcheaply.com. If anyone uses that site you know that the authors load it with books that are not complete to get you to buy the rest of the book. I usually just make up the ending and call it a day. Saves me a bundle. This series gave you 6 complete stories. I enjoyed knowing what and how the other couples got together without having to buy more. It gives you a chance to enjoy the authors' writing and if you choose to buy more of their work....I did like their individual stories and would budget to actually buy their future series books. I read quite alot and just like mostly feel good happy ending romance novels to cure boredom. So bravo ladies....
Small towns, love and happy endings....nothing better!
I absolutely loved all six books, once one was finished I couldn't wait to get to the next one. Even with a few struggles the stories were heart warming, made me want to find a small town like Redemption and have a happy ever after. I would strongly recommend these books to anyone that wants to get completely lost in the story, to feel like you are there and share the struggles, friendships and happy ever afters.
A collection of cozy romantic novels (more novellas but short for novels) I really enjoyed the people of Redemption, Wisconsin. I like that the stories overlapped a bit. It was interesting that every other book was written by Stacey Joy Neztel. I look forward to reading more books in the Redemption series and to other books by both authors.
I couldn't finish this. I tried reading the first book and the time line was too unbelievable. I moved onto the second book and kinda liked it, but again it wasn't a believable time line. On the 3rd book, I finally decided to DNF the book. I'm so glad I got this for free.
Two authors join to create a series of books set in Redemption, Wisconsin. The two authors each write 3 of the books but together create a world where you want to live and be one of the inner circle of friends.
Although written by different authors, these books are very similar, maybe too much so. The characters are likable but, the plots too simple. Also needs editing for typos.
I loved the stories in this series. I am looking forward to reading more of them. They are well written and I laughed through parts of them. They were written so you could read them on their own. I highly recommend this series.
True love finds a home in Redemption among 6 couples who resist, desist, and persist until their hearts know what's good for them. Light and fast-reading, these stories will touch your heart.
This is a series of six books set in the small town of Redemption. And redemption is something many people feel they need. These nouvellas are all about finding yourself, falling in love and forgiving as well.
Very sweet, quick reads. Couldn't wait to see how it ends.
This was an interesting series where each book intertwined with the next. I couldn't wait to read the next one to see what happened with each character.
Loves loved loved these. I love having some quick reads that build on each other. Very short. Fun collection of stories!!! I read 1-6 all together. Just bought book 7 and can't wait to start it.
Two authors six books excellently intertwined. Each a stand alone but together you live in Redemption. Know the best hang outs best coffee Italian. And to know the people highly recommend
Overly simplistic and short, these will do if you just need a romance novel but have a limited amount of time to read this week. They lack any real depth to them.
I enjoyed each and every last one of these stories, thank you for introducing me to the series with the freebies. I actually can't wait to dive into the next few books.
