In an absurd parody of political thrillers, the vice president and the director of the CIA vie for control of the vain, easily-manipulated commander-in-chief, ultimately resulting in a failed assassination attempt on the VP. In the aftermath, a Secret Service agent and her bumbling boss resort to unorthodox methods to find those responsible for the crime.

An absolutely funny book that is both silly and smart in the way it spoofs political thrillers. I discovered this author because of the 372 pages I will never get back podcast and I am so glad I did. I will have to check out another book of his. He seems to have a lot of them!
