Things go from bad to deadly when a killer shows up, and I’m determined to bring justice to our small town before Santa shows up on Christmas Eve.
The presents are wrapped, the clock is ticking, and a killer is looking to strike again.
My only Christmas wish this season is that I’m not next on their hit list.

2.5-3 stars. This one made me a bit mad at the author. Hear me out, I’m used to her having Bizzy do those TSTL moments and confronting the killer ALONE even when she knows she should not and when everyone tells her not to. Here, she’s PREGNANT, she knows she shouldn’t confront a killer alone, her talking animals tell her not to do it and to just call the real detective, tell her to think of the baby, and dies she listen, of course not. Not only does the author have her confront one suspect, but TWO in succession and of course almost get her and the baby killed per usual. Now that ruined the book for me. The story was fine, I’m used to the formula, but this… really grinds my nerves. Do better!!
Bizzy just can’t help but stumble over yet another body and this time she stumbled over the big guy in the red suit. Nick was playing Santa Claus at the Cider Cove Cookie Company’s Christmas party and the next thing you know he’s a goner and left a cute little dog named Jingle behind. Bizzy, Fish, Sherlock Bones, and Jingle team up to find Nick’s killer and Baby Baker Wilder is along for the ride and enjoying all the Christmas cookies and holiday delights. Along the way they stumble across yet another body. Is someone sending a message to Bizzy to stay out of the way?
Of course the story wouldn’t be complete without the shenanigans of Georgie and the rest of Bizzy’s family. I love the banter between Fish and Sherlock Bones and how Jasper has come to accept that Bizzy can’t help herself when it comes to solving a murder, but will this time she come a little too close to becoming a victim herself? You will have to read the story to find out! Make sure you have a cup of hot cocoa and some cookies to snack on while you are reading!
This was a cute holiday story full of mystery, laughter, and fun. It can be read as a stand alone story, but I highly recommend starting from the beginning because it’s such a cute series.

Christmas party murder is the twenty-eighth book in the Country Cottage Murder series. Christmas Party Murder is part of a series, but can easily read as a stand alone and you would be just fine. This series focuses on Bizzy Baker, a fun quirky inn manager, now owner, that loves her cozy little home town Cider Cove and her husband the detective Jasper Wilder. While Bizzy is not your normal run of the mill owner, when she was younger she almost drown and gained the ability to read minds. As the title implies it is Christmas time and the inn is holiday party central. Bizzy has the inn decorated to the nines and ready for all the festivities that ensue. But the one thing she was hoping to avoid was tripping over another body, but she wasn’t so lucky. Being pregnant this time around Jasper was hoping he could finally convince Bizzy to let him solve the case and keep her and the baby out of harms way. Will she listen and let him do all the heavy lifting? Or will she sneak off and do her own investigation?
Bizzy Baker Wilder and her adorable pets, Fish and Sherlock Bones, are up to their ears in delicious cookies and deadly plots in the latest Country Cottage mystery. Bizzy’s Inn is the place for holiday parties starting with the Cider Cove Cookie Company’s. But not everyone is happy with the company Santa as Bizzy overhears some murderous thoughts. With Baby Wilder baking in her oven, hubby Jasper really hopes she’ll stay away from trouble. Stumbling over not one bug two bodies means Bizzy is in the thick of it. Can she avoid being body number three?
Addison Moore’s cozy mysteries are always a delightful treat. Filled with quirky characters and charming pets, with a dash of danger, a sprinkle of romance, and full on belly laughs, you’re sure of a couple of hours of escapism fun. I love the dialogue with the pets the most and sweet Jingle was a cute addition. I’m glad he got a new forever home in the end. Also a standout are Ms. Moore’s irrepressible elder ladies. May we all have their joie de vivre as we age.

I absolutely love this series with all of its quirky characters and lovable furry sidekicks. The stories just keep getting better and I am here for all of it.
Bizzy and her husband, Detective Jasper, are glowing with the impending addition to their family. Bizzy takes it one step further, making cookies and sweets disappear at an alarming rate!
But it wouldn't be Bizzy if she didn't find a body...at a Christmas party...in her inn. It appears no one really cared for the fallen Santa, Nick, but Bizzy is on the trail of the culprit!
With the help from her furry partners, Bizzy is gathering clues and cookies along the way. Will she stay out of trouble this time?
I love the relationships of the town residents, especially the outrageous Georgie, whose bacon antics had me howling. I can't wait to read more in this series!.

It's Christmas time at the Country Cottage Inn. A local business, Cider Cove Cookie Company, is having their yearly holiday party there. The inn is decked out with all of the holiday decorations you can imagine. And, the staff is decked out as Elves at the request of the company. What could go wrong on such a great night? Avoiding the dancers in the Inn, Bizzy goes outside looking for her pets, and manages to almost trip over a log... but unfortunately, it's not a log, it's a body!! Even though her family and her husband do not want her involved, Bizzy is determined to solve the mystery and find the killer...

Bizzy, true to her nature finds Santa Clause murdered. The weapon was given from Santa himself to an employee of the company throwing the party. Bizzy can hear thoughts of others, but, she hears a message from the Reaper that he will be visiting her venue. Looking for her fur babies, she finds Santa, murdered. Some in her extended friend circle suspect her of murder. No proof, but she can hear their thoughts. Will she find the murderer before the Reaper finds more souls to claim? She fears this ability will effect her unborn child. Will he/she be safe? A gripping saga written by Ms. Moore with her outstanding skills.
It's the Christmas season, and Bizzy has the inn glowing with lights and decorations. A cookie company is having their holiday party there and a good time is being had by all, until Santa's time is up. Bizzy dons her detective hat determined to find a killer. Her actual detective husband, Jasper yet again asks her to leave the crime fighting to him. Bizzy and her furry friends Sherlock, Fish, and Jingle want to help Bizzy along the way. When another victim meets their demise, it becomes more urgent to solve the case. Can Jasper keep Bizzy and their unborn child safe, or will Bizzy get more than she bargained for this Christmas?
Bizzy is busy throwing a company Christmas party at her Inn when she stumbles across a corpse, one deceased Saint Nick. The body count starts to increase and it's up to her, her furry friends and the local detective to find out who's trying to kill people during the Christmas season in Cider Cove, that is, before someone decides to off her as well. This is a quick, Christmas-themed, cozy mystery with plenty of quirky characters, some twists and turns, and a healthy dose of humor.

This is the twenty eighth installment in the Country Cottage Mysteries series all I can say is that they keep getting better and better. It's an easy and enjoyable read. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to find out whodunnit. Although it's part of a series it can easily be read as a standalone. I would definitely recommend reading this book. I can't wait to read more from the author.

I'm surprised by the influx of five star reviews. This is a cozy mystery- and I have been a fan of one cozy series in the past (the tea shop mysteries set in Savannah). This book takes cozy way too far. Our mc is a mind reader and gets information from the minds of those nearby - even her pets. It's all very saccharine. There were a few phrases the author used repeatedly that got on my last nerve too...not the least of which was our mc and her husband moaning every time they have a bite of food. Good grief. This series is not for me.
It is not a good year to play the role of Santa at the Country Cottage Inn at Cider Cove. Bizzy stumbles over a dead body and ends up in an investigation before she joins the corpse. Good thing she has her loving detective and four-legged friends to assist. Reading minds doesn't hurt her investigation either. A quick and enjoyable cozy mystery perfect for the holidays. This can be enjoyed as a standalone.
I liked this book, found it humorous and a enjoyable quick read. Bizzy, with her unique ability to hear other's thoughts, is on the hunt to discover Santa's murderer. It can be a bit confusing keeping all the characters straight since everyone seems to be related or connected to each other, or consider it part of the fun!.

Bizzy is a murder magnet. She keeps stumbling over bodies and then jumping into the investigations to find the killers! She also has a secret ability to hear other people's thoughts so that sometimes helps! It's Christmas time and Seaview is in full celebration mode. Finding two dead Santas was not part of the plans! Bizzy is certainly going to be busy! Take a break from your Christmas activities, grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy this delightful cozy mystery!
WOW!! This is the fist book I've read my author Addison Moore & I have to say that I found myself really enjoyed reading this, I kept smiling throughout as I continued to read and was shocked as the murderer was identified, I didn't see that coming. I definitely will be reading more of her book & more of the Country Cottage Mysteries books. I can't wait to read the next one.
Christmas Party Murder is book #28 in the Country Cottage Mysteries series by Addison Moore.
Another entertaining addition to the series. Bizzy stumbles upon a dead body who turns out to be Santa! This series has great characters, wonderful furry friends, and interesting mysteries. This series keeps getting better. I can’t wait for the next book!

Bizzy celebrates Christmas and solves a murder. The plot kept me guessing. There is lots of humor. Bizzy 's pet assistants are adorable with Sherlock Bones trying to get as many Christmas cookies and treats from people. I do not like Bizzy's friends and relatives saying Bizzy is to blame for the deaths because she finds the body. That is not funny. This is a good mystery series.
2.5 stars Meh. Holiday novella in the Country Cottage Inn cosy crime series. I haven't read any others in this series, so I am not sure if that made a difference to my enjoyment but I thought this was pretty average. The idea was cute with a MC who could hear thoughts including from pets with a cop boyfriend but all the secondary characters were annoying and she had no reason to be questioning people or trying to solve the crime - her cop boyfriend could do the job fine without her.
Addison Moore books delight every single time. What fun and entertaining books she puts out! Christmas Party Murder is a cozy mystery with wonderful and amazing characters full of sass, spunk and hilarious banter. There is a murder but the book is still pure fun, easy to read and leaves you smiling.
What is better than cookies? Christmas cookies and lots of them!
It is Christmas and someone is being naughty! Not one but two men are murdered and being pregnant just got harder when Santa is the victim. Those cookies aren't going to eat themselves and the killer is has to be caught!
I loved the characters of Buzzy and all her adorable pets. Author Addison Moore has done it again with another wonderful book that I absolutely loved reading. She is one of my favorite authors and I loved this book and highly recommend...

What a crazy holiday season! Two murders from the same company? That would be quite the challenge. This was fun to read! I especially loved the conversations with the pets. I think Bizzy’s special talent is awesome. It definitely helps with solving mysteries. Loved the book!
Just a great read. I loved the characters, the writing, the plot, the mystery... just everything. The author is one of the best at writing a good mystery with a flare of the supernatural and a bit of romance.
I had a blast reading this and can't wait to see what comes next.
Christmas Party Murder (Country Cottage mystery book 28)
A Christmas party and then a murder. Buzzy of course finds the body. This is a good series but I think as an expecting mother a little more caution is called for, although it is a decent mystery.
Christmas Party Murder book 28 in the Country Cottage cozy mystery series by Addison Moore and is a delightful holiday cozy mystery, a really good addition to the series.

This one was so funny, even though she kept finding dead bodies. Her husband was the real detective. She just attracted dead bodies. She lucked out and found out. who really killed , the two guys. Got to read the book to find out!
Addison Moore does great justice for the animals in this series. Love them to bits. And the otherworldly happenings just make you want to explore them more. Now I have to wait for book 29!
