DNF @ 10% - pussycat heros with zero chill have no place in a mafia romance, IMO. He’s already masterbating over the dowdy little baker he met that same day. At 10%. Why are we here again? The hero is already a simp. So why keep reading??

I absolutely love Cara Bianchi and have been looking forward to her new release. I was very surprised the release date stuck because in case you all are unaware she is battling lung cancer.
So when I received this ARC I started it immediately!
Quinn is a young woman that has had it rough, an orphan at a young age and a slimy guardian taking ownership of her. At the age of 15 she ran away to start a life in NY where years later she now secretly lives in the bakery where she works.
Roman is a Bratva boss who crosses paths with Quinn and becomes instantly obsessed with her. Above all he admires her for not giving up on life and pushing forward through what life has dealt her.
This isn’t just your typical mafia romance, the banter between these characters is hilarious and sexy. Roman is of course possessive, dominating but at the same time protective and caring. And although Quinn doesn’t always make the best choices she is independent and very stubborn, she puts her foot down when he tries to be too overbearing.
There is a character that we are introduced to named Carrie, ugh Carrie!! I absolutely fell in love with her and noticed very quickly that Mrs. Bianchi gave a piece of herself to us in this book.
Make sure you have some tissues in hand when reading Owned by the Bratva King.

Part of the NYC Russian Royals hang on you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, darkness, secrets reveled, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way! Quinn is sweet, usually shy, yet undoubtedly one of the strongest girls her life has been rough orphan a slimy guardian took ownership of her forcing her to run away at 15 all the way to NY fast forward today she works in a bakery and secretly lives in the there struggling to do the best she can at this thing we all call life. Roman sexy as all get out Bratva boss isn’t a man you want to on your case nor do you want to owe him anything, do not cross him, threaten those he loves, he is ruthless, dangerous on a good day, deadly every day, and usually takes who/what he wants. The moment he walks into a bakery crash into the bakery is more accurate with blood on his shirt freighting the young beautiful girl there, but she also intrigued him because she didn’t back down, he could see that she has been fighting all her life and he could see her strength even if she couldn’t knowing she will be his even if she doesn’t realize it yet. Roman is your typical overprotective, possessive, dominating to name just a few of his qualities but he also isn’t afraid to show he cares she isn’t afraid to put her foot down when it comes to him either but can these two find a balance that works for them, has she found someone she can trust, will she allow him to make her life easier for the first time, will she find out her family history, when someone from her past comes back to haunt her will she trust him or land herself into more trouble, will his enemy come for her to get to him, and can they find their way to happiness?

This is the first time ever reading a book from this author and I am blown away. I fell fast for Roman and Quinn. I couldn’t put the story away. It was action packed, spicy!!!! And his obsession with Quinn! Please read this book!.

Why do we love to love the bad boys? Roman is no different. A bad boy I now love. This is a cute love story which I’m a sucker for. Something about this one just leave you with that warm fuzzy feeling though. Not the feeling like I’m depraved for liking the main character of the bratva. The changes that happen in the characters was refreshing and genuine. Sweet story.

I expected a good mafia story, with a dark obsessive mafia man and an innocent woman who fall in love eventually.
But it turned out so much more. Roman is an interesting, twisted and different character, you learn throughout the story why he is how he is. He has secretly a big heart (even if only for her) and he did some of the sweetest things anyone ever did for someone.
This goes for Quinn too, she is humble and compassionate, with a big heart and an abundance of empathy and forgiveness. How she changed with the supple help from Roman and Carrie was beautiful to witness.
Their chemistry is off the charts and the spice amazing.
You get lovely and funny side characters, some drama and tears, but you will close the book with a smile.

Quinn is a girl who has had a tough life. She lives in the bakery where she works. When she is opening the bakery Roman who the Bratva of the NYC Russian mafia has been shot in the shoulder and enters both the bakery in addition her life.
Roman is a handsome man who is attracted to Quinn. This is a dangerous situation and Roman takes over. He closes the bakery and gets back up to the bakery. He also protects Quinn. She has caught his attention. Quinn does not reveal much about herself and neither does Roman. Both have secrets and deep hurts.
Since Roman has means he has his people investigate Quinn and uses his power and money to make her life better. In addition, he starts to stalk her. He has it bad. He just cannot stay away from her. He comes into her apartment when she is not there and reads her diary which contains a fantasy about Roman. He has a moment in her apartment. 🌶🌶🌶 So when he finally comes back to the bakery it leads to a very hot scene in the park. 🔥🔥🔥 What Roman does not realize is that he is being followed by the press which puts Quinn in danger.
After it is realized that Quinn is danger, he feels the only way to protect her is to marry her. There are so many scenes that are HOT between Quinna and Roman. But my favorite is the boat scene after they married. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Now both Roman and Quinn have secrets which need to be revealed. Of course, we have our twists and turns that we do not see coming. To say the least, I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Sooo this one was my first from the author and I‘m disappointed very much.
The premise was promising and the start of the book too. But it got immediately worse. The spice is degrading which ok, could be a kink but here it was written so poorly and without any affection or connection between the main characters.
The MMC is possesive and obsessive but in a way that makes me internally shudder with how he gets to know Quinn. I‘m sorry but there is really no romance when you barely know a guy and not only does he wanks himself and smears something into her mouth unasked but also installs cameras all over your home and watches you 24/7?!?!? Not even 24 hours after they met?? No that’s not cute and oh so sweet it’s a effing breach in her privacy! No way could he explain it away with wanting to protect her.
I wanted to read on to see of anything evolves of if the characters grow or change or whatever but if she says that he shouldn‘t explode into her bc she doesn’t want to fall pregnant and u know, they OF COURSE use no protection, but it just makes him want to breed her, do any of us really thought this story would get better?? Maybe I was the fool all along lol.
This had so many more flaws and all the characters felt really flat. The FMC has literally no personality and at the end of the story had no growth and didn‘t even felt likeable.
I like to read Mafia romances also because I like to see the world building and relationships between the mob people and all that but you nearly get none of it in this story. It felt like the action was just pushed in and not thought through enough.
The spotlight was always on the badly written romance.

Thank you so much for providing me with an Arc! I am a huge fan of Cara's and was so excited to be able to read this and not have to wait! I finished it in a little under 3 hours.
Roman falls hard and quick when he meets Quinn one early morning after being shot at.
Roman is head of his Bratva and uses those means to slide right into Quinn's life.
What I loved....
*Spice 🥵🥵🥵 once it started it was ON...like all the time 🤣🤣
* Roman's dirty mouth. I mean 🥵🥵🥵
"That's it. How me how much you want it. Swallow my cock. Make me feel your throat clench around me."
"I need you," I reply. "Be a good girl and take it."
*Roman is super obsessed. From the beginning he wants into every part of her life and is a super Stalker but Quinn loves it.
*Quinn finding out how strong she really is.
*Everything Carrie! I cried during the last scene with her but it was the closure I felt I needed also!
Why I didn't give it 5 stars...

From the very first chapter, Cara Bianchi pulls you into a captivating story full of danger, passion, and a powerful, morally gray mafia king. This book is everything a mafia romance lover could ask for, an intense, brooding mafia king and a heroine who challenges him in all the right ways.
Roman e mafia king, was instantly fascinated by Quinn, and it's clear he'd do anything to have her by his side. Her resilience and spirit made me root for her from the get-go. Despite her fears and everything she's been through, she fights to maintain her independence even when she's "owned" by the powerful Mafia Guy - Roman. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, and their push-and-pull dynamic kept me glued to the pages.

This was one ARC I was EXCITED to get (and my first by Cara).
I devour mafia romances religiously and "Owned by the Bratva King" will go down as one of my favorite mafia romances to date. From the first page, Cara sucks you into a whirlwind storyline filled with plot twists, a morally gray bratva man, an innocent FMC and a connection between these two that were undeniable.
Roman immediately was smitten with Quinn and did some questionable things to get her to really see him. Quinn has been through so much loss and struggles that she has a hard time trusting Roman, but eventually she does. I loved that they met at the most spontaneous time and Roman kept his promises to make things right, Quinn bringing out this incredible loving side to him that you don't see in mafia romances often. The plot twists really added depth to the storyline and helped to bring Roman and Quinn's story full circle. I am excited to see where Cara takes the rest of this series next.

Wow, my heart was beating heart after reading this book, I was captivated by the story and that our prince charming can come in any form, the characters Quinn and Roman Kazanov. Quinn has a job that doesn't cover the cost of her bills, now she lives above the place of work the bakery, Quinn works from 6am every morning. She could hear a gun fight she was outside and raced inside she thought she had the keys in her pocket. Roman walked in, flipped the sign to closed, blood was on his shirt, she was concerned he asked her for a first aid and that's when he realised she lives above the bakery he looked around he wasn't happy, as a Russian mafia boss she would need to go with him. The emotions was action, danger, obsessive/possessive, stalking, forced marriage, age gap, Mafia, lust, passion, romance and maybe even love.

She hasn't experienced a lot of good in her life. She is used to being small and just getting by. He is a mafia Don, used to getting what he wants. When he stumbles across her he is taken by her, she is so different than all of the other women he has known and something in her calls to him. He can't stay away from her. This is a bit like a long version instalove story. It is clear from the beginning that he is head over heels for her. There is mafia family drama, but the romance is primary to this story. I thought the character development was good for both of the mains. You really got a sense of who she was and what she had been through. You also got to watch a strong in control man come undone for his woman and see his thoughts as he challenged even himself. The story was good and fairly original.

Amazing start to a new series. I loved Quinn and Roman's story so much. Quinn works in a bakery when a wounded Roman bursts into her life. Roman is a walking red flag, completely obsessed, and totally drool worthy. Their personal ARCS and the overall story ARC were blended perfectly and had me on the edge of my seat and turning pages long past my bedtime. The spice was well placed and added to the story instead of taking it over like some books tend to do. Overall I loved it and am anxiously waiting for the next book in this series.

The plot and premise of the story is good. It was unique and not like anything else I've read.
I read a lot of dark romance and while this had dark themes, it felt like a "light gray" read.
It was steamy. For my rating I'd also give 3.5 chili peppers.
I did like the build up and development of the characters. I didn't feel the tension between the characters initially but it was there by their first time and every other time after.
There were many good relationships and characters. I loved seeing Roman and Leon together. Their banter was fun. Carrie and Quinn were sweet and loving and I got a little teary at the beach scene.
Overall, good and id recommend as maybe a beginner dark romance

Started fairly strong in the first third of the book. There were a fair amount of grammar and spelling issues but the plot drew me in. The second half of the book, both the MMC and FMC became insufferable and I skimmed the second half. Kind of regret not DNFing.
Also, big pet peeve of mine is when someone writes a character from a different country but uses their own slang. It totally takes you out of the book. Americans. Don’t. Say. Shall.
OH! And I almost forgot the worst part. FMC is a US size 12 which is below average but the author has people calling her a fat bitch the whole time and I just fucking couldn’t. Like, go to therapy and learn some body positivity like the rest of us. Size 12 is not fat and let’s not pretend like it is either.

I loved this story. Roman is strong, stoic, and ruthless in getting what he wants. His morals were left behind when the people he loved died. Enter Quinn, who has the crappiest luck. She is a fighter, just trying to keep going each day no matter how bad it is. When she meets Roman, she awakens his humanity and, of course, his obsession. They end up as a great couple, each being what the other needs. This is a new author to me, but I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Roman literally stumbled into Quinn's life and was hooked on her as soon as he seen her. Soon the stalking began and neither of them was the same. Quinn is afraid but at the same time she can't get Roman out of her head. She starts leaving her door open in the hopes he will visit. She gets her wish one night and their relationship changes for the the better. But with his enemies around the corner danger lurks and when Quinn's taken all hell breaks loose. But don't worry all is right in the end!.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading Owned By The Bratva King, I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to keep reading so I could see what was going to happen next. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone, so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information about the book. I recommend reading this book! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Quinn works as a Baker and homeless but not powerless except against him.
I did love the chemistry between Roman and Quinn. Each were damaged but complimented each other in many ways. I did have feelings about Roman in the start but he warmed up for me. He just wanted what he wants and plans to get it.
Well done with deep characters that end up being likeable and a great plot. So good!!

What an amazing start to this series NYC Russian Royals. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to reading the next installment. This is a dark mafia romance with a twist. Roman is a Bratva boss who walks into the bakery that she runs and becomes instantly obsessed with her. He is possessive, dominating, controlling but also protective of the people he loves. Quinn is a young woman that comes from a rough upbringing and is trying to be independent. Roman is trying to take care of her. This is their journey.

The book started out slow, at least that is how I felt. But then once Quinn and Roman finally got together it sped up and got good. So many things were going good for them until Quinn’s life was on the line, but she powered through and helped Roman take down what I felt was his biggest enemy at the time.
Carrie was also such a wonderful character in this book as well. I loved that Roman stepped up and helped take such good care of her.

I've been in a really bad place book wise. Barely reading and enjoying the books, but I'm back. I adored the last book I read, and I adored this one! I love how sweet and compassionate Quinn is. She had every right to turn hateful and bitter, yet she maintained that kindness, that sweetness. That's why Roman fell for her and fell so fast. She was the opposite of him and his world. He was obsessed, but what he did for her, just perfect. He was everything she needed. And she was everything he didn't know he needed.
