By day I’m fighting fires and saving lives with my brothers at the station, and by night I’m slinging drinks at our family bar with my blood brothers. I was happy, but I couldn’t help wanting more. When I stumble across the stunning redhead and her little boy, it’s like everything I was searching for just appeared in front of me. When an apartment fire takes everything she’s ever worked for, I can’t help offering my home to her and that chubby faced toddler. Soon enough, they’re not just living in my home, but now they’re permanent residents of my heart. And if I have it my way, they’ll never go anywhere for the rest of our lives.
Haley
I never planned to be a single mom, but Roman is the absolute love of my life and the best thing that ever happened to me. When the firefighter with a heart of gold steps in to help me and my boy, I vow to find some way to repay him. I just never imagined I would end up giving him my heart. I soon find myself imagining a life I never saw for us… a happily ever after. But after years of never being enough or wanted by someone, can I trust that he really wants us forever?
It’s finally here!! Cooper is LIVE!! Go one click and meet this golden retriever with the filthy mouth who falls for the sweet single mom and her little boy!
Trigger Warnings include: This is a story about first responders, and sometimes the calls can deal with sensitive subject matter. This includes: One scene that involves the death of a child off page. I’ve said this a million times over, but reading single mom romances hit different being a single mom. And reading Cooper March?! That man did a number on my heart! Cooper and Roman were a perfect fit. And he respected that it would take some time for Haley to connect with him so easily. In that time, they build such a beautiful and genuine bond. I loved getting to enjoy that. Seeing the way Cooper stood by Haley’s side and let her flourish. There were all kinds of tears going on with this one! But the tears I shed over the love and comfort given to Haley and Roman hit me the hardest. And that love didn’t just come from Cooper…but obviously that was my favorite. Absolutely, without a doubt, one of my FAVORITE single mom romances! OH! Also, they have dueling praise kinks…so buckle up for THAT!

I've missed Heather's words soooo much. Because she's my best friend across the pond she sent me a copy when she finished it you cos we're besties lol.
This story is filled with so much and I loved it. I love how much Cooper likes Haley and Roman as soon as he sees them.
When something happens and he takes it upon himself to help Haley and her little boy.
Cooper is such a golden retriever with such a dirty mouth haha and I loved him alot. When he loves he hard.. Haley has been through alot in her life and she's only ever had her brother Jensen fighting in her corner..
I laughed, swooned, giggled, got teary, said that's hot a few times cos of some of those sexy scenes and had hand on the heart moments where I was going awwww.
Cooper was a good read! Haley is a single mom to Roman and has recently moved to Nashville. Cooper is a firefighter and co owner of a bar with his two brothers. The two meet at the grocery store when he helps out with poor Roman. Cooper was such a great guy from the start. He was so swoony, protective and caring. Haley was sweet and a great mom and woman. I loved the chemistry and connection Cooper and Haley had. They were cute, perfect and explosive together!! Loved loved them! I am hoping we might see of Coopers brothers and Haley's brother some day because I love them too!
So, I love these little multi-author series, just like with an anthology, it's a great way to read a new to you author and dip your toes in the water and get a feel so to speak., Heather Lyn is new to me and holy cow did she blow me away. Yes, this was a cute story, a bit of drama, some danger, a few cute moments, but we are also getting some super hot naughty bits (IYKYK). This will def not be my last read by this author and absolutely am loving this series. I give this 5 stars.
If there were only more men like Cooper, the world would be a much better place. Cooper is Haley's saving grace he shows her how to trust again and that not all family is blood, they can be built through the bonds you make with people.
I am really enjoying this series and it is introducing me to new authors which I love. Cooper and Haley's story is more sweet than the first two in the series but they do have chemistry. The scenes where the men are doing their jobs as firefighters are spectacular, you feel like you are really there with them. I cannot wait to start Rhett and also read more books by Heather Lyn.
Dirty talking Golden Retriever of a man 🤝 Sweet but skittish single mom. 👏
Pacing was perfect as Coop wooed Haley and Roman.
Plot was sweet perfection as novella and as a companion book in the series.
Spice levels are on the lower side for Heather Lyn but didn’t take away from the book/plot itself. Coop and Haley girl were the perfectly sweet nymphomaniacs as most couples in their early and mid twenties tend to be.
Can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the station 47 series!

I enjoyed this one … single parent is my jam!! I loved Poop!!! Lol read it and you will seeeee!!! Cooper loves Haley and Rome so so sooo much …. It was so precious seeing him with Rome … and the spice laws have mercy
Sweet cooper and sweet/guarded single mom Haley Meet by pure coincidence in grocery store when Haley’s son Roman is experiencing some teething pain
What ensues after involves sweet and spicy only slightly borderline nyphomananic 🙄 Highly recommend Heather Lyn really knocked this one out of the park
Hot Hunky Romantic Firemen - what else could a romance reader want for a series. That is exactly what we are getting with the Station 47 series. This multi-author series is just getting started but let me just say it’s been amazing. This is book 2 in the series - Cooper's story. He is not only a fireman but he and his 2 brothers also own the nearby bar. Coop is happy with his life but longs for a loving relationship like his parents had. But so far no one has even turned his head in the slightest. That is until he sees a woman, Haley, in the grocery store holding a small boy who is screaming in pain (we soon learn little Roman is cutting his teeth). Coop rushes in and introduces himself as a firefighter and helps Roman. They talk and exchange numbers even though Haley tells him she’s not interested in a relationship, but would love a friend (she’s new in town). Coop decides he can work with that but has hopes for more. When Haley’s apartment building catches on fire, Coop and his crew catch the call. Haley is devastated as she lost everything in the fire and almost lost her son. Coop takes charge and brings them back to his place once they are released from the hospital, telling her they can stay as long as she wants/needs. Haley has a troubled past and has never had anyone in her corner but her brother who is deployed overseas. So she accepts Coop's offer but very reluctantly.
Can Coop convince Haley that she and Roman are safe with him? Can Coop break through the walls surrounding Haley’s heart? Can he get her to give him a chance at a possible relationship other than friends? This is an outstanding read with lots of laughs, heartache and heartwarming moments. The whole gang from Station 47 make an appearance as well as a few of the crazy characters from the prior book. I highly recommend them both (Grayson and Cooper) and I can’t wait for book 3 in the series.
Oh this one was short but beautiful, one thing is that I love Heather's way of writing and with this book I confirms that once again. Being a short novel everything happens quickly but for me it had the perfect timing, Cooper felt an almost instant attraction when he sees Haley and her little son Roman, he helped them with something but he was left feeling that he should keep talking to her and well, let's say that some things happen (that had me crying) and they end up living together and oh god I loved every moment. Cooper took Roman as his own, from the first moment he felt Haley as his own and speaking of Haley, our girl never had it easy but I liked that she had her happy ending with someone who loved her madly and understood her a lot.
I would have liked it to be longer (and that it wouldn't have made me cry so much) but it was a beautiful story.
📌 I received an e-arc, and this is my honest opinion/review of it.

This is such an emotional series. Being a first responder myself I can relate to this series and let me tell you it tore at my heart strings. Each and every book in this series is about the firefighters at Station 47. The first book got me, and this one was a little harsher. My poor little heart broke reading this one. Now understand I am not saying this was a bad book. Oh no quite the opposite. This was a very well written emotional enjoyable page turning book. Cooper is a firefighter. Single living the life. One day he goes into the grocery store and runs into Haley whose poor little boy is having a huge meltdown. Cooper can easily see that Haley needs help. She is a single mom and is dead on her feet. Cooper steps in and helps with the waffle trick. Things forever change for Cooper from that day. He can't get Haley or her little boy out of his mind. Things change for both of them when Cooper shows up to a fire at her apartment which destroys everything. It scares him and he takes it upon himself to take care of them both. Haley doesn't know what to expect because her brother Jensen has been the only person that has been there for her. But again, things get even more interesting from there. Cooper realizes what he could have with Haley and Rome. But will Haley feel the same? There is a moment in this story that had me in tears. But that is something that every first responder goes through when they have a family. I was heartbroken reading that part thinking the worst. But Heather did such an amazing job writing that scene. You literally feel every single emotion that Cooper is feeling. You will laugh, you will cry and you will feel when you read this amazing book.
Haley is a single mama to a cute little boy, living on her own after just moving to Nashville after finding herself pregnant and her parents kicking her out of the house. the only person she ever had in her corner was her older brother Jensen, who is in the military to do anything he can to help his sister and his nephew with anything they might need. When Roman is getting his molars and can't get any form of relief, Haley is exhausted and while he's screaming in the store while trying to get a few items Haley finds a tall good-looking stranger coming up behind her asking if he could try to help her little guy. Cooper grabbed some frozen waffles, and it was the best sound Haley ever heard Roman was finally calming down. When Cooper turned that corner at the store he was hit by a ton of bricks, and he was needing to get to know this woman and her son, he can't stop thinking about them at all. When the Station gets a fire call at Haley's apartment complex, Cooper is now in a panic until he sees them and knows they are safe, but they are now going to be staying together while Haley gets back on her feet, but once that happens will Haley or Roman want to leave the comfort of Coopers house, or will he chip away at all the walls that she has put up to protect her heart so what happens in her past didn't affect her life now. OMG these dang firemen are smoking, hawt and ugh I'm needing this station too be real. another great story and I need the next one. but these cliffhangers are torture in the best way.
Without a doubt, I fell in love in the frozen food aisle of the supermarket. Cooper March stole my heart the minute he abandoned his shopping cart to help out what clearly sounded like a child in distress. He had no idea that turning down that aisle would throw him and his heart for an absolute loop the second he spotted the gorgeous Haley Jacobs and her adorable yet inconsolable little boy Roman. Sigh, yep head over heels in love! The more time I spent with the seriously swoony Cooper whether it was with Haley or the cute little scene-stealing Roman, yep more in love. Time with his hot-as-hell crew at Station 47, dramatic moments or crazy antics alike, yep more in love. And of course, time spent with Cooper's brothers Axel and Joey, LMAO Omg, hysterical! Yep, you guessed it, more in love. I am not the biggest fan of collaborations, as you never know if the author's styles will mesh, but Heather Lyn you made me need more of this family and this crew. Not only did you bring to life your own characters but you also gave life to characters belonging to other authors. You alone made me need more of these people! I can’t wait to spend more time With Coop and the boys of Station 47! I especially need to get my hands on Coop’s best friend Rhett “Hollywood” Ferguson! Wink, wink. Fan-Freakin-Tastic!!
Get ready to lose your heart to firefighter Cooper in this unputdownable installment of the Station 47 series, penned by the talented Heather Lyn. From the moment Cooper swoops in to rescue single mom Hayley in a supermarket, it's clear that this story is going to be something special.
Cooper is the kind of hero who makes you swoon from the start—strong, protective, and with a heart of gold that shines through every page. His connection with Hayley is instant, and their chemistry is undeniable. But what truly sets this romance apart is the slow-burning journey from friends to lovers that Heather Lyn expertly crafts.
Hayley's world is forever changed when Cooper enters her life, and watching them navigate the challenges of love, family, and baby Roman's adorable presence is both heartwarming and sizzling hot. Their relationship is tender and passionate, filled with moments that will make your heart race and your soul sigh.
"Cooper" isn't just another romance novel—it's a story that will stay with you long after you turn the last page. It's a must-read for anyone who loves a good fireman romance, and it easily earns a spot in my top 10 swoon-worthy reads this year. Prepare to fall hard for Cooper—you won't be able to put this book down!
Who dosent want a sexy as sin firefighter???? In story number 2 of Station 47 series we find out who couldn't resist temptation. Cooper is a hot firefighter who is living his life on his terms. He just wants more of something like his parents have. He hasn't found it until he runs into a screaming toddler named Roman and his gorgeous mother Haley. Cooper instantly knows she is going to be my wife someday. First he needs to break down Haley's walls around her heart. Haley felt it too but is new to town and needs friends more then romance. Are they willing to give this a real chance? After a fire call to Haley's apartment building where her and Roman almost lost their lives. The chemistry heats up. Cooper takes charge and brings them home with him to his house. If he gets his way they will never leave. So proving to Haley, her brother and himself this is forever. Wonderful story with fun characters that are full of commitments to love, life and family. Read this story and all the others when you can
I am loving how immersive this series is in a town so close to my own! This was a quick read that got my attention from the very start. Cooper’s *chance* encounter with Haley is the beginning of something neither of them were prepared for. Haley is striving hard to create a good life for her sun while Cooper is searching for the more in life — like his parents had.
I giggled out loud when Haley insists that she’s only looking for a friend and when Cooper agrees to those terms/limitations. We all know it’s going to become more! Both have the firm base of wanting to provide a stable, loving environment/community, and once a little forced proximity comes into play, we see the trust and ability to feel safe develop.
Once Haley accepts Cooper’s actions as true and honest, the depth of her character blossoms into a beautiful moment that helps push the story forward. I loved the laughs that come along with a child in the story as much as I love the intimacy that develops between Haley and Cooper. Excited for more of this series!
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Cooper is a firefighter with a heart of gold. When he isn’t working at the station, he’s bartending at his family’s bar with his brothers. When he meets Haley and her son, she wants them for himself.
When a fire leaves Haley without anything, the gorgeous firefighter offers his home for her and her son. Soon, it starts to feel like home and like they one little family. Cooper is amazing with an adorable Roman. But with Haley’s past and her insecurities, will she be able to trust Cooper not to break their hearts? I loved the chemistry and passion between Cooper and Haley. They were made for each other. Little Roman is an adorable little guy.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a single mother, firefighter/bartender, forced proximity romance then you’re going to love it.
Heather Lyn is one of the most beautiful people I have had the pleasure of meeting in this book world. She is just positive and fun-loving. I have enjoyed reading Cooper and will continue to read her stories. Cooper is a firefighter by day and works in the family bar at night. Being a firefighter brings in so many rewards, but also will break you if you let it. He and his firefighter brothers will do what they can to protect their town and those who live in it. Haley is a single mom who has been through a lot and just wants a fresh start. When she meets Cooper sparks fly, but for Haley, she has too much on the line and she and her son Roman need to figure things out. When a series of tragic events happen Cooper is there to show Haley she is not alone at all. Cooper knows what he wants and it's Haley and Roman and he is going to prove to her that he will try to always be there. Can they have the love and happily ever after that they both dream of?
This series is just doing it for me so far. We get more Tori. We get the woman who just makes sense with Cooper. We get Haley and the feeling of pure rightness when she realizes she’s found her person and someone to love her beyond her brother. And we get a glimpse of what’s to come.
Haley is understandably reluctant to start anything. After all, she’s been discarded by all but her brother her entire life, so it’s difficult to believe that Cooper might want her. But he does. And he lets her know in a big way that he’s all hers, no matter how she wants it to go. Friends? Sure. More? He’s hoping but not about to push too hard. And that’s exactly what Haley needs.
These two communicate wonderfully, they don’t hide feelings, and they are honest about what they want. Who wouldn’t want to spend time with them and Tori?
Haley and Roman meet Cooper in the grocery store and it began their journey together. I loved little Roman and how he was so full of life and love. Haley is a single mom just trying to make their lives better with the help of her brother Jensen. Cooper is a firefighter at Station 47 and he has his own hopes and dreams but when he meets Haley and Roman, he knows where his future is. I loved this book so much. Cooper is such a sweet and caring man who knows what true love is supposed to look like. Haley is a strong and resilent woman whose walls are up and she cares for her son beyond anything else. I love how this story progressed and the family that is Station 47 surrounds them. I highly recommend this series, book and author.
Cooper is content with his life as he enjoys his career as a firefighter and is close to his family but the one thing he wants is a woman to share it with. When he comes to Haley’s rescue when her son Roman who is in discomfort as he is teething, he knows that she is the woman he has been waiting for and is willing to be her friend until she realizes it as well.
Haley is a single mother to her son Roman who has learnt that the only person she can depend on is her brother. She is grateful to Cooper, but she is also cautious however when tragedy strikes, he is there for her and her son and shows her that she can trust him with her heart.
You can’t help but feel for Haley who is overwhelmed by the obstacles that life continues to throw at her but Cooper, his family and his firefighting family show her that she will never be alone again.
I don’t think I’ve read a book in a while that’s made me reach for tissues until I picked up Cooper. Part of the Station 47 series we meet Haley and Cooper. Shes a single mom and just so relatable . Connecting with her love of her son Roman and her strength as a mother had me rooting for her from the start. Cooper I mean come on Super Cute Firefighter what’s not to love.
This book had me grabbing tissues like no one’s business but I loved that about it. The writing captivated me and brought me in that I felt like a fly on the wall. Beautifully written you can’t go wrong if I learned anything is that love conquers all and we don’t know our true strength until we’re pushed past our own demons to be able to live the life we truly deserve this book taught me these things. Amazing writing!!
A beautiful story, with no angst and tons of chemistry. I’m a sucker for the single mom trope, but throw in a hot firefighter and I’m all in!!! Cooper is an over the top take no prisoners protective alpha who fell in love with Haley and her son Roman at first sight. I couldn’t get enough of this story and didn’t want it to end, but seriously did it have to end making me wonder what was going to happen in the next book with another character. We get the full story of Haley, Cooper and Roman, but are left wondering what will happen next with side characters. It really was the best way to hook us in this series. Good Job Heather, amazing actually!! I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
Phew! Oh boy, this was a rollercoaster emotionally. Dramatic scenes full of fear and tension to romantic and fun ones. Characters were down to earth and very easy to love and invest in. Twists and turns made it powerful and gripping. It's well written and a fairly fast to steady pace but definitely got my heart thundering in my chest at times. A great companion in series to the first Station 47 book Grayson by C.A. Harms, each book in the series is written by a different author and each chose one of the crew from the same team. It's going to be hard to choose which book is best at this rate, I can honestly and happily reccomend the series so far, this was exceptional reading as was the first book.
Cooper, based in the A Station 47 world, is a low level angst romance with a high level of chemistry, love and connection. Cooper and Hayley's story is one about learning to trust and letting the walls crumble to the ground that had been around your heart all of your life. Cooper will melt your heart at the levels he will go to in order to prove that Hayley and her sweet little boy can trust him no matter what. Their story is not only sweet and heartwarming, but the heat is like a five-alarm fire. This author has a knack for writing characters that easily steal your heart and storylines that have you captivated and unable to put the book down and Cooper was no exception. A beautiful heart melting story with some witty banter and some funny moments that add that little extra touch.
4.5 Stars We are back with the crew of Station 47. It's Cooper's turn. Hang on to your panties because Cooper is going to have you swooning big time in this one. Many times Cooper had my heart melting. How he steps up for Hayley then how he is with little Roman, swoon. My heart went out to Hayley. She only had her big brother in her corner, but her move is going to lead to her finding her found family. That was one of my favorite parts of the book. Seeing the support system she gains along with t he friendships warmed my heart. This book gives you all the heart and feels along with the heat. It's such a good book that I highly recommend. The tease at the end has me eagerly awaiting the next Station 47 book.
First time I’ve read this author. Cover and blurb seemed to be promising a good read. Liked the way it started, he was quite a charming character initially. She was presented as young and shy, cautious. Then once they were a fairly new couple, both their characters seemed to change, morph into nymphomaniacs that were getting it on at the fire house in a closet with his colleagues nearby who were aware of their activities and openly ribbed them about it. Just seemed like whiplash to me….It just didn’t flow with how they were both presented initially, I felt like I’d stumbled into another story. I know it appears others have enjoyed the story from their reviews but I didn’t. Don’t think I’ll read more of the author

Cooper was a great read by Heather Lyn. I enjoyed getting to know Cooper, Haley, and the very adorable Roman. A chance encounter in the grocery store leaves firefighter Cooper feeling like he's just met the one, but Haley is a little closed off. She's a single mom and hasn't had it easy. The only person she's ever been able to rely on is her brother Jenson, but he's in the military, so she navigates everything alone. When she finds herself and Roman homeless, Cooper steps in and shows her just how she deserves to be treated, but will she allow him to break down her walls and will they both become each others forever.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, and would definitely recommend. Each book can be read as a standalone.
