HE'S SEXY, RICH, AND HER MORTAL ENEMY.
SHE HATES HIM...ALMOST AS MOST AS SHE WANTS HIM.

I first met Cole Hendrix when he propositioned me in the lift of my new condo the very same day I moved in.

He is New York City’s most sought after bachelor, arrogant, and infuriatingly gorgeous, he’s also a player with a capital P and I hate him with every cell in my body.

I would rather die than go out with a man like him―though I do have to admit it was good for the ego. Turning him down was the highlight of my year.

In the shock of the century, two days later he walks into the same meeting as me. Turns out we are going to be duking it out on the opposite sides of the same file.

He’s my nemesis.
I’m his challenge.

My new favorite hobby is infuriating NYC’s sexiest billionaire. Just the sight of his handsome face triggers my sarcasm. The last thing I need is to get involved with a playboy CEO who puts the SUFFER in insufferable…no matter how good-looking he is.

Six months later, he is the guest speaker at a conference I’m attending in Boston.
Still arrogant and infuriating―but this time, surprisingly charming and witty.

When he looks at me, I get butterflies.
But I can’t go there.

He’s just a player in a hot suit, and I promised myself a long time ago I would never be sucked in by a man like him.

I just need this conference to be over.

Because everybody knows that Cole Hendrix always gets what he wants…and what he wants is me. They say keep your enemies close. But what if your enemy is also the man you’re falling in love with?

Oh my gosh, the ending. I'm just smiling so big over this. This was such a good book. Enemies to lovers who go through so much in order to figure themselves out. Oh my gosh, perfect characters, with a great amount of spice while also allowing for serious issues and growth of the characters. I absolutely loved this book so much. I highly recommend this book.

Another good book in this series, I loved reading about Layla and Cole though I did jump ahead and have to double back for the other two stories in to find out about Victoria and Madelaine. Either way, Nancy Brown did an exceptional job in this book as always.

In this book, Layla and Cole are the same, but so different from each other. Where Cole is a playboy that is fine living his life as a single man flitting from woman to woman, Layla is pretty close to that. She has had past situationships, but made it clear to all of them that she wasn't looking for anything more. They meet under the most awkward circumstances, but it leaves a bad taste in Layla's mouth. She thinks that she can avoid him in her building, until she finds out that she's going to be working with him. They both try to ignore the attraction that they have for each other, Cole believing that he simply needs to get her out of his system, and Layla not wanting to be another notch on his bed post, but things turn serious.

I love that Cole stayed committed to Layla even before they were in a labeled relationship, aware that no other woman would do it for him, and trying his hardest to prove to Layla that he could change. I loved that Layla was fallible as a human, and came to terms with her emotions, past, and knew that she would have to make changes within herself to be able to accept love. These characters were extremely relatable, and I enjoyed reading about them.

Back to the last two books!!

I could not put this book down. Starting reading and I was absolutely hooked. I love the sexy off the chart's chemistry between Cole and Layla. You can feel it right from the get-go and have to dig into the book to be able to see how this works for the two of them.
Layla is living her life. She just moved into a great new home, has an amazing job and is trying to live her life. The day she moved in and is unpacking she meets her neighbor Cole. The man whore that has quite the ego. Before you think oh boy a manwhore. You have to read about Cole and see how he acts with Layla. Because I guarantee you will fall in love with him after reading this.
Layla and Cole play the game. She will not give him any chances and cuts him at the knees. No matter what he tries she will not give him a chance. The banter between these two is wonderfully written. I loved it. Six months these two meet ago and the sparks fly starting a fire they cant put out. But will someone come between them before they can face what they have?
There was a very interesting character added into this mix. Young Aria is an endearing character who brings out another side of both Layla and Cole. I absolutely loved the scene with Aria. I wanted to crawl into the book and literally hug her so tight. I absolutely loved the addition of her character to this storyline.

I could not put this book down. It made me laugh, sigh, and even grit my teeth once or twice. Right from their first awkward meeting there is a connection, a sizzle between Layla and Cole. As a wealthy playboy who is used to having women fall all over him or at his beck and call, Cole is stunned when Layla refuses his advances and tells him in no uncertain terms to back off. He keeps trying, going out of his way to arrange meetings with her, but she insists on cutting him off at the knees. She has her reasons for not trusting players like him and a fiery temper that comes into play when he tries to get his way. It takes six months, a great deal of obsessing on his part, and readjusting her viewpoint before they finally take a chance on each other, on seeing if it is more than lust between them. Layla and Cole’s chemistry is hotter than the sun and leads to some very steamy encounters. It is the way they finally open up to each other, revealing their pasts, their thoughts and even their fears that make them relatable and oh so easy to love. Young Aria is an endearing character who brings out another side of both Layla and Cole. Their naughty texts, the frank and revealing discussions Layla has with her friends and Cole has with his brothers, and the moments they realize what they were feeling is love are delightful. Of course they experience a few hiccups and twists as every relationship does before the wonderful conclusion to their relationship journey is revealed.

I would give this amazing book my highest recommendation.

I love all of Nancy’s books. This one was about Layla. She met her best friends in school and they all ended up working together. Layla was raised by her mom because her dad wasn’t in the picture. He found her when she was 30 and he wanted to get to know her. She was hesitant at first. He ended up giving her access to the money he had been saving for her since she was born. He loved her mother but he had committed to marrying a woman he didn’t love for money. He grew up poor. Layla bought a condo that was about to go up for sale her friend told her about. That is where Cole comes in. He walked into the elevator with 2 ladies on his arms. They ended up working on some deals together. She was a lawyer and he acquired failing companies. She didn’t like Cole and she told him as much. She was very rude to him. They eventually ended up getting along. He tried really hard but it took almost a year. Layla had a lot going on she was a volunteer for the big sisters and she was paired with Aria who was 9 years old. She had a tough life. She was living with her grandmother. Aria ran away to Layla’s a few times. One was because she was being bullied at school and another was when her mom came into the picture. Cole and Layla had a lot of ups and downs. The book was amazing as with all of Nancy’s books.

Wicked Obsessions is book four of the Wicked Series.

I loved Cole. Yes, he was a player, but once he found someone he wanted more time with, he really became a loyal and caring person. I really felt for him when it seemed like he was trying to have a relationship with Layla, but she was kind of pushing him away. I get her reasonings, but I truly felt bad for him. Layla also didn't really know how to act in these instances as she didn't want to open her heart to anyone and have them break it on her. They both had a lot to work through with their emotions as this was mostly a first relationship for both of them.

I loved the chemistry between the two. He didn't want to accept that he had been rejected. She kind of regretted rejecting him. She really fought her thoughts and feelings, while he was trying to fight the real reason why he was interested in her.

This was a great read and a great addition to the series.

This is book 4 in the Wicked Series. Yet again, Nancy Brown didn't disappoint. This book is FANTASTIC.
This is an enemies to lovers book, which is so well written.
I really do love a strong, kickass ass, take no messing female character, and Layla was this and more. Then Cole Hendrix, a billionaire, arrogant playboy who's hot as hell with it.
The characters will just pull you in, and if that's not enough, the spice...so hot!🔥
You're just cheering them on. These books in the series can all be read as standalones, but personally, I have enjoyed how the characters interact across the whole series.
This is definitely a must-read!

Cole and Layla are the cherry on top of this amazing series!
Nancy Brown has delivered yet another masterpiece - yes, masterpiece! I devour anything she writes and she has never let me down! This is no exception.
Enemies to lovers, humour, off the charts chemistry, spice, character growth, with everything in between you could want and more!
This is book four and can be read as a standalone, but it will be so much more enjoyable to read in order as the characters are in the shared universe and why would you deny yourself the opportunity to read them all!
Nicole is a must read author and her books are always ones you don’t want to put down!

This was a great book where at first Layla and Cole can't stand each other. There's so much heat but they just can't seem to get along. Loved how they kept crossing paths and eventually their connection was too much for them both to ignore. Great steam and romance. So many sweet moments. Sad that this series is over but loved each of the books!
