This is a wonderful series. Each book is different with the exception of the excellent HEAs and they all involve the special ops team.
I could feel the betrayal that Astrid had towards Rand. I could sympathize with her on her plan for revenge.
It was interesting how they met again. Not in a good way either.
The flow was good. Romance had eventual steam to it. I loved how they finally were able to talk about what happened in the past.
Astrid's sister was interesting also. She played a major role in what Astrid did. Also how she was able to get from under her boss. With a little help.
Action through out. I loved the suspense.
This story did not disappoint. Excellent series.

This is a fantastic book in the Special Ops Series. It’s an enemies to lovers romance. The Silver Wolves Black OPS has only three rules to live by: find a mate, protect her no matter the cost and create babies. Rand is a part of the Silver Wolves Black OPs pack. Astrid is the mate he rejected. Will Rand and Astrid get a second chance? Will Rand follow the three rules of the pack? Will Rand and Astrid find love and happiness together?

What if you had a chance to get even with an ex, would you do it. What would you do if you found out that you are suppose to kill him or lose your sister? This is the choice that Astrid has. She has a chance to get back at Rand but it turns out to be not what she wants but now she is between a rock and a hard place. I enjoyed reading how the author was going to fix this, it was a page turner. I received a free book and the views and opinions are my own.

Would probably rate 2 and a half if I could. These characters were SO toxic for each other I could not feel ANY chemistry between the two at all. There were several typos and stuff as well which I mean happens but with how often the books are released it feels more quantity of quality. I wouldn't say this was the *worst* of the series but it's definitely not my favorite! Looking forward to the next one though 💚

Rejected Wolf Mate

I guess I forgot how determined these Black Ops wolves are when they see injustice or someone they think should be theirs. Rand never forgot the one he walked away from and she wanted revenge. They should know fate always does things differently.

This is a wonderful story, as are the rest in this series: there is romance, betrayal, misunderstandings and personal growth.
Astrid is all about protecting her sister: after Rand rejected her she got herself in with the wrong crowd and now finds herself in real trouble.
Rand thought he was doing the right thing leaving and would not listen to any other view.
Astrid and Rand are great characters and their relationship is a bit rocky when they see each other again.
