This book interested me from the start with its paranormal twist, and had me reading throughout the night to finish it. It's well edited and the main characters are engaging but the minor characters can be a bit crass and not particularly fleshed out (this may be because it's a series of books, but each can be read as a standalone). If you like a spicy young adult read, then this is for you.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was such a fab story! I felt invested and emotional.

"When I glanced at her now, I saw someone understanding and kind. I saw someone important."

Foster Union has been dodging his friend's attempt at setting him up with Raina Bollen, the girl who's apparently in love with him. When they finally meet, the circumstances are highly unusual. At first, he doesn't know who she is and, unfortunately, neither does she. When he finally figures out who she is, they've also figured out that she's somehow tethered to him. And so begins a quirky friendship where sparks are definitely flying, and hearts become invested, but what will happen when she finally wakes from her coma?

"It didn't matter if she wasn't actually here, though. I'd honestly never felt more present with anyone before in my life."

I really loved this story. Foster was a wonderful guy. He was a loving and caring son and big brother. I felt sorry for the burden of guilt that he carried around with him, but I adored the supportive fraternity that he had with the other six guys. I liked that he wasn't a typical college QB, as he had his own share of insecurities. Raina was funny, sweet and confident. I liked the way she teased him and made him laugh. These two together were fun and sexy, and I loved their unusual love story.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this series so far and can't wait for Parker's story!

This is a well written book with strong characters in Raina and Foster. The author does a great job developing the story and brings an entertaining and romantic paranormal romance, fills it with emotions and a bit of steam. She brings it to life with her descriptive scenes, moves it fluidly and delivers a terrific read.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and are freely given.

I’ve received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I give it 4,5 stars.
It all starts with Raina, a girl who’s been in crush with the quarterback of the football team and decides that is high time she meets him in person. An accident happens and the circumstances of their meeting are not what they expected but it lets them connect with each other at a deeper level. I really liked how the whole series talks about grief, but I think this book is the one I relate to the most. Both Foster’s grief for his brother and Raina’s for her old life.

I enjoyed their relationship and both of the characters as individuals.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

I’ve been a fan of Linda Kage’s since I first read Price of a Kiss (Forbidden Men Series) Book 1 back in 2013 and have basically all of her books. Her Forbidden Men Series universe books are my go to re-reads and I’ve lost count of how many times that I’ve read them. I really enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down and was hooked from page one. Foster and Raina’s journey to get their happily after wasn’t easy but so worth it. I was completely hooked from page one and couldn’t put it down, so I got very little sleep. I shed tears more than a few times while reading Foster and Raina’s story, so it’s best to keep some tissues handy. Raina has had a major crush on the star Quarterback, Foster Union but doesn't even know him and with some liquid courage she’s on the way to finally get to meet him with her sister but she never makes it to the party as her and her sister’s rideshare is hit by a drunk driver. The driver’s of both vehicles and her sister were killed and Raina is in a coma. Somehow her soul is tethered to Foster’s.

I loved seeing them actually get to know the other, become friends and then eventually fall in love over a two week period of spending so much time together. I thought that Parker was totally spot on and Raina was exactly what Foster needed in his life, and vice versa. They were great together. I would’ve loved getting more time of them as a couple after Raina remembered everything but that’s a very small complaint. I absolutely love the Seven. Foster and his friends/found family all met at a grief support group as kids. They all have such distinct personalities that shine through the pages and have each other’s backs. They don’t mind giving each other sh*t as well as happily calling each other out on it. Oaklynn and Faith are part of their found family and Raina has been brought into the fold. I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of the Seven’s books as the series continues. It’s Parker’s turn next and I’m looking forward to reading his book when it’s released early next year. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

When I tell you that Linda Kage is one of my favorite authors, this book is a prime example of why!!

I loved both MCs! I am not typically a good boy, morals-abiding, boy scout type of MMC loving kind of girl. But Foster Union was EVERYTHING! Foster Union is the guy you want to take home to your parents and then take back to your place after. He was sweet, he was always there for everyone who mattered to him, he was a gentleman, and he was overall just the best someone can be even with having a bunch of crappy hands thrown his way. At no time was he surly or sarcastic, he really just went with the flow with everything and helped out the best he could. I literally could not believe this guy wasn’t even of legal drinking age with the amount of responsibilities he had and handled like a champ!

And Raina. Sweet, bubbly, Raina with the perfect amount of flirt and empathy. I loved how she was such a decent human being and was so very relatable to the average college girl with a thing for jocks. Raina was sweet and funny, always looking after anyone in the room who she felt needed that little extra love. She was also vivacious and totally got Foster to open up, not just in a dating capacity, but in a bone deep friendship capacity. I loved how her patience may have been outshined by Foster’s, but it was still definitely there to anyone who paid attention. Finally, I loved how in her spirit form she definitely threw caution to the wind and let herself enjoy Foster to the most of her abilities. Respectfully, of course haha.

I loved the panic attack rep, in BOTH MCS! Foster had struggled with them throughout most of his life after his brother’s death, and then Raina did later in the story. I loved the rep showing that “normal” people are impacted by panic attacks and that it doesn’t make you a weird or bad or different person. If the star quarterback of the college football team and the most bubbly girl can have panic attacks, so can everyone else.

There is so much grief, but so much closure. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

It just made sense. Something I really love about Linda Kage’s works are they just make sense. Especially when it comes to grief, her characters responses and outlooks on life as a result of tragedy are reasonable and relatable. Never have I read any of her books and thought, “That doesn’t make sense” or “No one would really do that.” To a degree, yes, it’s all fiction and this one especially with its paranormal aspects. However, when it comes down to the soul of the character, they are 100% believable and authentic. Even when Kage hits us with third-act breakups in her books, again, they just make sense.

There is such great recap of the prior books, but in a way that does not stunt either the flow or the reader’s understanding. There are SEVEN CHARACTERS, and they’re slowing gaining significant others, so that’s a whole lot of voices and stories to be told. Linda keeps them very well separated, does a great job of giving each and every one of them their own voice, and reminds us readers about key points in everyone’s history when needed. There was a specific scene in this book in the library basement that had so many people involved who had varying levels of being able to communicate with each other (or rather, not being able to communicate with each other), but I read everything and it all made sense who was talking, thinking, acting. I finished the chapter in complete awe that I didn’t have to reread anything in that chaos a second time for it to make sense. It was so well done.

I refuse to spoil anything, but I absolutely adored Raina’s times on the beach. I wanted to cry so many times.

I also loved Raina’s relationship with Alec. He is definitely the baby of the group, but he is beyond sweet as well. I loved their little side friendship of working through a panic attack and watching videos together. I really hope we see nods of this reels watching continue in the series because its adorable!

Lastly, I loved that one of the seven was the “seer” this time. It kind of evens it out a bit so it’s not just a “they all brought home crazy chicks” kind of thing lol.

At the end of the day, there are so many things I loved about this book and so little words that I can fit in this review. This was definitely my favorite in the series so far, and trust me, I did NOT see that coming. But Foster and Raina were just THAT powerful and perfect together, I had to ride shotgun on their adventure.

Thank you to Booksirens and Linda Kage for the opportunity to read a copy of this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.

I received and ARC of this book for free and this is my honest review.
6 ⭐ 1.5 🌶 5 ❤ I loved this book so much! It was everything I wanted it to be and so much more! The emotion that Linda can write into her stories is just incredible. I love these characters so much. This story has a lot of deep and profound topics that it touches on and I feel like it was done is such a beautifully heartbreaking way. I will say that if sibling or child loss is a major trigger for you probably skip this one since that is one of the main topics of this book.
I feel like she did such an amazing job with this story and the triggering topics that are in this story. Like all the the Seven series death is a major topic in Foster and Raina's story, and their love story is one of my absolute favorites that Linda Kage has ever written. The romance in this book is top tier in my opinion. I have been missing the romance aspect in a lot of the book I've been reading lately and it was really nice to read such an incredibly romantic book.
There is a lot of emotion and I cried a lot of tears reading this. I loved the writing it kept me invested in the story from page one and the story just kept going. The pacing was very good I didn't feel like there was any type of lull in the story. I finished this in two days it was so good I wanted to finish is so badly because I just needed to know what happened to them, but I also didn't want to finish it because I was enjoying it so much.
So if you are looking for a very emotional, romance forward contemporary paranormal romance with some spice that gives Just Like Heaven vibes, I highly recommend this read. So good!

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh, it made me cry and made my heart melt. This a college romance with a touch of paranormal (ghosts). It deals with loss of loved ones, guilt and panic attacks. This is Raina and Foster's story. I have to admit, I found Raina annoying at first, but she grew on me. Foster was almost too good to be true. He's the starting quarterback, handsome, a college celebrity due to football and an all-around nice guy. He has an amazing group of friends called "the seven", of which they all met at a grievance support group. Raina gets in an accident on the way to a party where she is hoping to meet him and ends up in a coma. This is where the story takes off. I don't want to give away too much, but I don't even know how to summarize things. It's just so good. I loved how Raina and Foster's friends were there for each other to help work through the guilt and be supportive with whatever emotions they were going through. I loved how Foster helped Raina's father by taking him to her hospital room and introducing him to his parents and family, when he was just so lost on what to do. I really got invested in these characters and cried a lot, but I'm an emotional person. There is so much that goes on in this book, but I will tell you that it does have a happy ending. You'll just have to read it, to find out how it all happens. I will certainly be reading more of this author's books. Also, I think the cover is gorgeous.

<-- the part that broke my heart.

My god.

What. A. Journey.

Foster deserves the book boyfriend trophy. And damn, it has been awhile since I found someone who is so unproblematic and wholesome. The ultimate good guy. And oh so sensitive and fucking loyal to a fault. Ever since the first glimpse of him in this book, I can't help but to gravitate towards him, just like Raina did. My brain has been corrupted by these bad boys, mafia and psychopath MMC made me wish we got more male leads like Foster. And not just in new adult romance. Like, sometimes I'm tired of the alpha asshole type and I truly believe, we need more varieties in our romantic heroes. So, I give it two thumbs up!

I also love the reserved guy, sunshine girl trope. Raina, in her ghost form, is just a total vibe. Heck, I fell in love with her too, and I understand why Foster couldn't help himself.

This book broke my heart and somehow fixed it oh so beautifully. I loved how the author handled the separation (is that a spoiler?) and some of the issues that led to them. In fact, this is one of the few instances where I understand why they had to be apart before they got back together (no matter the supernatural aspect involved).

Anyhow, fucking love this book. What could make it better? Maybe if it hurts my heart a smidge less, I would love it more.

At first I was not sure this book would be for me. I was confused by the prologue and thinking … meh. But then, the book actually started and - Wow! I couldn't put it down! I loved the story of Foster and Raina. I couldn't get enough. In fact, I don't think I can get enough of any of these characters. They are so … real. The backstory perfectly interweaves with the plot and development. You don't get some random history dump that makes your brain shut down. It is seamless. I truly enjoyed this book and can't recommend it enough. Perfect for a beach read, weekend read, alone at night read, or one that keeps you up until the wee hours of the morning. Read this!

I cried a lot of tears whilst reading The Life Wish. The story was so emotional; the pain felt like it was leaking out of the pages. Poor Raina suffered terribly, but she never let it keep her down for long. A naturally sunny disposition, her personality shone through the pages.

I was also glad for the chance to get to know Foster, as in the previous two books we never got to see who he was as a person. I’ve gotta say he’s pretty uptight, though the reasoning behind it is explained. He has a do-gooder attitude that might have grated on me if Raina hadn’t been present to lighten him up. There’s a scene near the end where he fully let his feelings control him and I feel like that’s the real Foster Union.

The romance between them was perfect. Forced into constant contact made them more vulnerable and willing to share openly with each other. There were quiet moments which made the bond between them feel even stronger.

This is my favourite Linda Kage book. It was so heartfelt and heartbreaking, but balanced so well that I never felt like I was drowning in misery. (I’m not a fan of books that I know are going to break me) There were parts that I could identify with, especially the spirit/dream sequence as I swear my grandmother has visited me a handful of times in my dreams.

Looking forward to Parker’s story next, but I am most eager for Thane.

Thank you to Booksirens and Linda Kage for the arc and this is my honest review.

I have become terrible with leaving reviews on books but I just had to find the time to leave a review for this book.

I have been obsessed with Linda Kage since I first read "A Perfect Ten" in the Forbidden Men series, and I have not stopped (now to include the kids books). I thought, "there's no way any of the other books could be this good," and I was terribly wrong.

Anyway, I have been sad missing my friendship group and their stories and I have been craving for something new. I decided to go ahead and give "The Seven" a whirl and I have consumed all three books in under a week. Queue Book 3-- now, don't get me wrong. The other two books were great, they kept my attention and the weird twist with the paranormal plots is interesting and makes for something different but book 3, The Life Wish, kept my attention from the start.

It reminded me of a really old movie from 1996, Susie Q (side note; how can I watch that movie again??!) Anyway, I loved the entire concept that her spirit/ghost followed around Foster Union. I am trying not to ruin anything with spoilers but I thought this book was a GREAT read!! I cannot WAIT to read Keene though, he reminds me so much of Oren Tenning that I know my heart is going to swoon!!

Linda Kage- I love you. I will leave my husband for you.

Wow, wow, wow! I was very excited to read “The Life Wish” after finishing and loving the first two books in “The Seven” series, but Linda Kage somehow managed to exceed every single one of my sky-high expectations for this story. This was romantic paranormal perfection at its finest, and “The Life Wish” has officially become one of my favorite books of 2024.

The two protagonists, Raina and Foster, were both endearing and wonderful characters on their own, but together, they were simply magical. Raina’s sunshine-y disposition and zest for life contrasted perfectly with Foster’s honorable, serious, and dependable personality. Likewise, the unique situation that they found themselves in for a majority of the novel — with the former character tethered to the latter due to a supernatural connection between the two — made for an entertaining twist on the classic “forced proximity” trope.

From start to finish, I cheered for Raina and Foster to overcome every obstacle that was put in their way, and when I finally turned the last page of their story, I walked away with a giant smile on my face. Now, I am eagerly anticipating the next standalone installment in the series, because I cannot wait to see who captures the interest of our charming and enigmatic billionaire, Parker.

THE LIFE WISH is the third book in The Seven series and, once again, you could read it as a standalone but why do that?

Foster is the popular football player that everyone thinks they know but don't. Raina is one who liked what she did know. Oaklynn thought the two of them would be great together, but it just never happened. Well, not at first, and not while they were both corporeal anyway!

This was such a great read! I loved the twists and turns as Foster and Raina figured things out, including how Foster slowly fell for her. And yes, it did about kill me when certain things happened. I think my reading increased to warp factor nine! I needed to know what happened next. (Sorry! I'm trying not to give any spoilers here.)

I loved the part with Foster's brother. I think that was the perfect touch and it did bring tears to my eyes.

Smoothly written, with humour and heart, I have no hesitation in recommending this book and the entire series so far. I look forward to reading more.

Another great book from Linda Kage! I love reading about the seven and their story. The little facts and background story sprinkle in ❤️

Raina has a crush on the quarterback of the football team and goes to a party trying to meet him. An accident happens and their meeting happens in a different way.

Raina is sweet, funny and full of life (pun intended 😁) . I liked the way she would tease him and make him laugh.
Foster is wonderful. Loving and caring, helping his parents and siblings out. My heart breaks for him with the guilt he carries around. I like that he had his insecurities and wasn't just a cocky football player.
Together they are funny, sexy and confide in one another. So my heart broke when she couldn't remember 😭 right along with Foster's. Ugh the angst was so good.

This was well written. The responses and dealing with grief is so relatable. Well not the paranormal sides of it, but the rest is 100% believable and authentic.

So far this is my favorite in this series, but I reserve my right to change my mind when Parker's book comes out. I can't wait for it to come out.

Thank you to Booksirens and Linda Kage for the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

Loved. This. Book! Lots of touching moments with just enough steam…
Another winner in Ms. Kage’s series about seven young men who met as children at the worst moment of their young lives. Each had just lost someone dear to them: best friend, sibling, one parent or both. From that grief counseling event, they found a bond that has lasted all these years. They were eight to eleven years old and they are now twenty to twenty-two; a long time.
This book is about the football star and all-round great guy, Foster Union. When he meets a spirit named Raina one night on the beach, he begins a magical journey with her. This book made me laugh, cry (buckets in some places), get angry and finally be thrilled. So well written and entertaining. I love these seven young men finding their forever someone. Looking forward to the rest of this series with anticipation.
If you like romance with more romance than steam, you will adore this series. Through Ms. Kage’s novel, we get to experience all the emotions with just the right balance of steam. I highly recommend this book and series thus far quite highly. It deserves a minimum of five-stars. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through BookSirens.

Before I begin this review I want you to know that I am on a grief journey. I read this book from this state and it will explain a few things.

Next I haven't read the previous two books but I am definetly gonna do that now.

I am not really a fan of reading about schools or academy, I read this because of the mysterious side of the blurb. And didn't dissapoint. Everything was in the mix for a 'just one more chapter' and then realizing that the book ends.

There are nicknames in the book that i couldnt put on a person but that is because I haven't read the others.

This was suprisely good. My heart broke with theirs, I knew precisely what and why they did things. Mostly because they acted out of grief. I completly understand. Not sure if I would if I didnt know what they are going through though. I like Raina and her way of doing what she does. Foster is the too good too be true kinda person.

I look forward to the next story and I wonder about the others of the seven.

It starts with Raina, a college girl who’s finally feeling confident and decides she’s going to go meet her crush: the super hot quarterback and uni star Foster Union. But on her way there, she gets into a car accident and ends up in a coma. Fun fact: she doesn't know… and Foster can see her ghost. This story has this perfect mix of funny moments, emotional stuff, and a touch of the supernatural that makes it stand out. It reminded me a lot to Just like heaven movie, but at some point it goes it's own way.

I loved the relationship between Raina and Foster. She makes him open up and feel all those feelings he's been trying to hide from everyone and the way he tries to help her before and after finding out she's a ghost was kinda fun and lovely. I cried a little i must admit. The romance is everything you can expect and more. I never get dissapointed with any of Linda's Kage work <3

I really enjoyed reading this, can't wait to read more about the rest of the boys (and keene's mom… i mean whaaat)

This book presents a unique perspective on the romance genre by intertwining supernatural elements with a genuine love story. The idea of a soul connection beyond physical boundaries is fascinating, and the narrative thoughtfully delves into themes of love, life, and the possibility of second chances.

Raina's lively character paired with Foster's calm demeanor creates a relationship that is both engaging and deeply moving. The story's unusual premise—where a comatose character forges a connection with someone in the real world feels whimsical and meaningful, prompting readers to ponder the true essence of connection.

Linda Kage skillfully blends humour, romance, and emotional richness, and The Life Wish accomplishes this remarkably well. While some readers may find the supernatural aspects unconventional for a contemporary romance, they introduce an unexpected and enjoyable twist to the tale.

Figuring Things Out . . .

This series revolves around the idea of young children who had lost someone who meant a great deal to them in their formative years. Their experiences in common with each other provided a lifetime unbreakable bond as a part of “The Seven”. Now grown, we share the experience of one of them, football star Foster Union, who is fated to meet a young woman who finally gathered the courage to travel to meet the quarterback she has had a longtime crush on. But on the way, Raina Bollen’s driver has a car accident and she is left in a coma. Even more complicated, her soul is stuck “in-between” and attaches to Foster. With his early childhood experience, can he help her correct this situation and survive the odd circumstances she finds herself in? Will their constant involuntary contact help both of them begin to heal from their own difficult experiences and express their growing feelings for each other?

Omg! I don’t know how Linda manages to take your heart crush it ,and then build it back together again. This story was amazing! It was heartbreaking, steamy, thrilling and funny all at the same time. Raina has had a mad crush on Foster for a while now so with the help of her friends and sister, she ends up having a night that’s unforgettable and tragic. Raina’s ghost ends up cleaving to Foster. Through this bond Foster and Raina begin to get to know each other in ways they never imagined possible. I absolutely enjoyed this story. I love the normalization of ghosts and their abilities as well as their history, in this series. I’m so excited for the next one in this series. Linda is now one of my top favorite authors. I definitely recommend this series. You won’t regret it.

After reading the first two in the series, I was not about to pass on getting the third for free!

I was actually reluctant to read this one at all, to be perfectly honest. The blurb had me thinking that he was going to fall in love with his own thoughts or something? I thought, "Well, this is just too far now!" I decided to read it because the fourth is out, and it wouldn't be "The Seven" if I missed Foster's story.

I am so glad I decided to read it anyway! I went through a slough of emotions. Irritated, happy, laughing, sad, happy, angry, laughing, sad, happy, sad, angry, then RELIEF! I actually cried for a bit, and had to wait for my vision to clear in order to continue at one point. Sometimes I think that the author is just messing with me…

Time to head off and see what Parker is up to, now... I highly recommend this ENTIRE series!

WOW, I am so loving this series by Linda about " the seven" . In this book it's about Foster and Raina's story. Prepare yourself to escape into "other worldly" and journey into unknowns that seems almost reachable to some….I loved seeing them falling in love, engaging witty banter, getting together with all the other amazing characters, still having that friends/family dynamics with some drama just adds to this story. Raina and Foster isn't always an easy journey and when life happens… choices are made can they navigate to find one another again?? Well written… this book has sad themes but also happy themes to help out, great support in both family and friends. Highly recommended.

So so good! I have read the other novels is the series and really enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. I was excited to jump into this novel, it did not let me down. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention and held on tight. This novel took me on such a journey. Once I started reading I could not put this novel down, even if it meant staying up most of the night reading. So worth losing sleep over. I loved Foster and Raina. I loved the premise that the novel started with. I loved watching Foster and Raina open up to each other and fall in love. This novel took my emotions on such a journey. I loved it! I can't wait to see what this author has coming next. So so good!

This series! This book!😍😍. I just lovved reading these two. Foster Union, what a guy! Raina has always been infatuated with Foster from afar. Popular/football player/good guy, wonderful son, amazing older brother, also a part of the Seven. On the way to meeting her crush, an accident happens and she’s stuck in the in between. She is tethered to Foster everywhere he goes. These two embark on a very unique friendship. This was such a cute, funny, sweet, sexy and just EMOTIONAL! I’ve always been intrigued with ghosts, while this was LK’s POV of the ghost telling for this series, I absolutely loved it. I could not put it down. Loveeed seeing these two fall completely for each other. I can’t wait for the rest of the guys!!!!

I was so intrigued with this book, especially with the title. At first, I couldn't understand its meaning, thinking that everyone who's alive might have a life wish, so what's so special?😂
But then I read the story and it captivated me (I might be bias cause I love everything Linda writes ❤️)
I loveeeeed how things progressed and how such a wonderful friendship developed and how feelings started to grow. I really loved Foster and Raina, together and as separate.
Although this book has deep topics, it also has funny scenes so it's so easy to get invested in reading it.
Can't wait for the next book. We're almost half way through the series and I don't really want it to end!

The Life Wish was my first experience with Linda Kage's magical way of sharing her art and talent of writing through heartfelt stories! The relationship that grows and develops between Foster and Raina transcends the paranormal realm, yet in such a way that you cant help but love it and hang on every word, hoping it all works out as it should. The writing style flows, the characters are very well-developed, with great depth and are relatable, overall a great read, worth your time!!! I couldn't have asked for a better start to my journey with this author!

This is Book 3 in The Seven series. This book centers around Foster and Raina. The MMC is a big old cinnamon roll who can not do enough to help other people. Raina has a major crush on him and wants to meet him. She gets into a car crash where her sister dies and she gets tethered to Foster as she is in the in-between. Things are certainly interesting for the two of them. She wakes up but doesn't seem to remember the time they spent while she was in a coma. Will she ever remember and return Foster's love? I highly recommend this book to all paranormal romance readers.

I have to say, so far this may be my favorite of this series now. I love Raina and Kinsey and then throw into the story Foster and how him and Raina are together once they can't get away from each other. .. so good. I love the storyline and all the characters that we see again from the other books and all the Seven. I cried multiple times with Raina and everything she was going through and this one just got me in the heart strings. Loved it. Can't wait for the next which will be Parkers story.

I am really enjoying reading the Seven series books and by far Foster is my favourite book. The series is very well written and I love the paranormal twist the author has added to them. Each book flows really well and not only do you find yourself emotionally invested in the story but also enjoy the commarderie and jesting between the seven characters.
Foster and Raina's story had that hot chocolate, puppies wholesome feel about it and the love scenes just topped the icing of the cake. Perfection. A great read!
