Nimbus is book 4 in the Kyleverse, a series of sentient object romance short stories. Kyle isn't the main character, but he shows up to help the plot in one way or another. The stories are sequential but can be read as standalones.

A bit of fluff

I guess I should have expected this to be light and fluffy, it’s about banging a cloud-man after all.

I think I like these to be much more unhinged, and I kind of expected a wackier use of lightning, but this was cute.

Owen and Gale are great together, but you know why we're here. Kyle is better at communication and bedsport than 99% of the MMC's in fantasy. Fight me.
I would have liked a few more amorphous appendages from Gale. C'mon, he's got to be able to sprout like, six dinguses.

This was so freaking cute and sweet and of course SPICYYY. Ugh. Gale and Owen are precious together and gave me all the feels. The tension, the lightning (yes lightening). Kyle is perfect, per usual. Cloud seggs? Umm yes please. I loved the little science project seggsy time too. So clever and fun! Cotton candy fan? You're in for a fluffy treat! ;)

Nicole Parker does it again!
A sentient cloud shifter.
A literal cloud but I am here for it.
Owen is having a tough time and having a "sky is falling" moment when Gale appears from nowhere and Owen feels instant comfort from a stranger while being comfused of where the guy came from. Gale being just as confused of how he got down there but is instantly smitten with Owen.
This was actually so cute, Owen needed Gale more than he could of ever thought and Gale needed him too.
And of course we have our Kyle that is just down for anything and is like our very own where's Wally lol!
As always the vibes was just vibing and it melted my heart a little with these two!

Nimbus is a lot of fun, surprisingly sweet, and deliciously spicy…and quotable! There’s more fun and heartfelt moments for you to discover when you pick it up! I can’t give all the spoilers.

Our buddy read of this series is turning out to be a great time with so much laughter, I love it. We are even now drawing our own versions of the sentient objects too. Nimbus is the fourth book of the series, and one that we struggled to get our heads around as a concept but I think Nicole pulled it off. I loved the mental health rep and our characters Owen and Gale were just the sweetest, I loved them as a couple.

I CANNOT with this book!!

I was so excited to get a copy of this from Nicole and I took my first time in 2 years with the house alone to dive in.

This was the sweetest book in the series so far. It touched on sensitive topics like panic attacks and brought our MCs together when they needed them the most.

Also Kyle he is just aging perfectly like fine wine!!!

I am here for teh Kyleverse!

God, as soon as I read that line, I knew this one was going to hit hard. My anxiety isn't as bad as Owen's, but I have my struggles. I really empathised with Owen a lot, and reading as he found his person to help him through his anxiety was a feel-good moment for me. Now I've got the warm fuzzies for an incredibly sweet cloud man.

This also has me thinking about what my sentient object would be to help me through my struggles. Maybe something soft or a song, though I'm not sure what the logistics of a sentient song would be.

I'm soft for Gale and Owen. They're so good together, and Gale knows exactly what Owen needs even when Owen himself doesn't fully know. He's also got a rather dirty mouth for a cloud 👀

I swear, every time I think I've reached peak impressed in this series, I somehow get even more impressed!

This story had such a different vibe from the others, and I LOVED it!!
Owen is a sweet, sad boy who's constantly filled with a storm of emotions. When Cloud Daddy Gale comes along, the chemistry is electric...sparks literally fly!!
These boys both melted my heart and set me on fire, and we can't forget Kyle doing what he does best - he's good like that!
Also, I have to mention to the inappropriate place names popping up in this series - they crack me up, and I can't wait to see what Nicole comes up with next in Kyle's S€xtacular Adventures!

This novella was as sweet as cotton candy.

Suffering from anxiety myself, I understood Owen all too well. I thought Gale was really cute with him and the two of them make a lovely little couple. Of course, you can’t be in the Kyleverse without Kyle making an appearance. The young man really does find a way to combine help and fun 😂

Now it’s time for me to discover Spread: A Sentient Object Romance .

This is the first book I have read in the Kyleverse series. I must say that I loved it and can't wait to read the previous books. Gale and Owen are amazing together; the chemistry between them is electrifying (literally). A cloud shifter, super hot, and also a total cinnamon roll — say no more, I’m sold! Smut when he's in cloud form 👀 Yes, please! Literally, the clouds are falling. Above all, I loved that Gale appears whenever Owen needs him; that proves how perfect he is. This story has the best of both worlds: super spicy and super sweet.

I'm living for these sentient romance books. They're unhinged and just wild. Nimbus follows Owen. He loves looking at the clouds but is thrown totally off guard whenever he finds out his recent fling suddenly appears as a cloud. How is this possible? And of course Kyle makes an appearance in this one. This was a cute quick read. Getting it on with a cloud... if you wanna know then read this story.

If you can genuinely tell me that this alone doesn’t make this novella, about a sentient cloud romance, a five star rating. Then you’re lying to both of us.

I am obsessed with the quote and I also loved this entire novella. It’s so cute and once again our boy Kyle is here to save the day and share in some fun.

So Owen and Gale are the cutest! I adored how they worked through anxiety and how to make their relationship work with Gale being a cloud and all. Kyle as always, hysterical, although it felt kinda forced to me with this couple.
