Okay, so maybe I shouldn’t have broken into their house.
Maybe I shouldn’t have made myself at home and eaten through enough food for two people in twenty minutes.
But after being lost for half the day, I was hungry. And I needed their electricity to charge my phone so I could use the GPS to make it back to my car.
So, I did what I had to do. Besides, it didn’t look like anyone was home. I’d be gone in thirty minutes, tops. And I’d leave a note apologizing about the broken window.
Except, that food knocked me out. And when I woke up it was with a gun to my forehead and three unnecessarily attractive men staring down at me.
Naturally, I expect them to want answers and kick me out. But instead I end up with a proposition I can't refuse

I have read a fair amount of books by Shon. Some she’s knocked out of the park while others have felt a bit underwhelming. Well I can say with ease that this is the best book she’s written hands down!!! I meeeaannnnnn!!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED everything about this book! From beginning to end my face hurt from blushing and cheesing at this foursome. Giggles were giggled and feet were rubbed together! My heart could hardly take the amount of love and respect on these pages. Lorenzo📉📊🗂️, Sincere🍩🍪🧁🥧🥖, Romeo🧬🦠🧪⚗️🧫 and Goldyn📚🏫🚌🧋 were every-fkn-thing!!! Shon said she’s been wanting to write this book for a long time and finally paused other projects to give us this story and all I can say is thank you for listening to your gut because you 👏🏽did 👏🏽that👏🏽!!!
This was a modern day retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears 🐻🐻🐻 and all I can say is this is the version that I acknowledge moving forward. This sweet town of Bliss Peak got some freaks in it 😆🤭

Then for it to happen with not one, not two but THREE men?! I mean these men baptized Goldyn in love and I have two questions. Where can I pick up my application?!?!!! I volunteer as tribute and would easily trade places with Goldyn any day!! And secondly, do you need a sister wife sis?!

Romeo and Goldyn did their big one! The slow build, grumpy sunshine dynamic will always reign supreme for me. Lorenzo x Sin x Goldyn x Rome were such a cute little family. Very spicy, very fairytale-esque, a little insta-lovey, I recommend it if you’re looking for a low angst, black, polyamorous read.

This book started out a little suspect. I was skeptical during the first 7%. Well improvement is an understatement because once I got past that point everything was as it should be. I loved loved loved this book. This was a fairytale retelling, Goldilocks and the three bears but more like one bear (Romeo) and two Prince Charming’s (Sincere and Lorenzo).
Goldyn lost her way in the woods, coming across a house while trying to find her way back, she decides to break in to pee, eat and charge her phone. After setting her alarm for a 15 minute nap, Goldyn wakes up to a gun to her head and three very attractive men.
This was a very tastefully and well written MF, MFM, MM, MMFM why-choose novel. The dynamic between the four, the chemistry and the shex!!!! 👩🏾🍳💋

Loving just right
I Iove when a story reminds me why I love reading and THIS story did just that. Shon girl, you gave us the sexiest version of Goldyn and the Three Fine Azz Men. I love when an author introduces me to something I could NEVER think of on my own. She took a classic story and made it sexy 🙌🏾
This was a MMFM story done Just Right 😏 Goldyn had no real family after losing her Grandmother and had been wondering for years. She had been in Bliss Peak for just over a year and was finally content. One day she finds herself in a bind and trespasses into a house that just happens to belong to three of the finest men she has ever seen. They all seem to have an immediate pull to her....and having a family is definitely on the horizon for her.
These men were so different that I could understand that she received a different type of love and energy from each of them. Sincere was his name personified as he was sincere in the way he approached his loved ones and took on the caretaker role in the family. He gave a softer side. Lorenzo was interesting...he was the boss, but loved being the bread winner and lightening the load of the people he loved. In fact send me a Lorenzo cuz I'm TIIIRED 😩. He was so dominant, but he didn't play about his husband at all. Rome, he was my favorite. I love a brooding grumpy man that comes out of his shell when he finds love. Okay it was his dark azz skin and the grill too 🤷🏾♀️. He had a little toxicity to him....clearly I need help lol. I feel like there was more to him that we missed out on, but I enjoyed every bit of him falling in love. Goldyn seemed to be the missing puzzle piece for them and she completed their family.
Listen make sure y'all read the Trigger Warnings, because this is NOT your everyday love story. This The spiiiiiiice was spicing okay 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I love the way these men loved on Goldyn. I enjoyed the dynamic among them all but Goldyn with Rome was my favorite. The buildup of their connection was great and I felt myself wanting more of those two (it was giving grumpy/sunshine a little).

Now THAT'S a fairytale!
This was one of the sweetest, spiciest, most romantic fairytales.
I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This was my first read from this author and color me impressed. I loved it!

Why choose romance with Goldilocks - theme with a diverse cast.
My expectations were on one hand low because it's a huge task to write multiple relationship in a believable way, in 300 pages, and extremely high on the other hand because of the glowing reviews promising MF, MM, MMF and MFMM in this story.
Aside of the obviously not realistic Goldilocks theme and rather insta - building relationships I enjoyed how the author developed the relationships between Goldyn and Sincere, Goldyn and Lorenzo and especially Goldyn and Romeo (this one was slower).
I liked that Sincere and Lorenzo had been a couple for years and that we got to see the two of them being intimate at times.
I didn't get why Romeo felt like a totally separate entity, though. The 3 men lived together and loved each other, even if Roman wasn't involved with Sincere and Lorenzo. At the end of the book there was a kiss offhandedly mentioned between Romeo and Sincere (or Lorenzo, can't remember) that felt so random and out of context, I was confused.
We got sex scenes with:
-Goldyn and Lorenzo,
-Goldyn and Sincere,
-Goldyn and Sincere and Lorenzo,
-Goldyn and Romeo.
All of them together wasn't something the author decided to choose, sadly for me, I had been looking forward to the MFMM part of the book but it never came.

Damn! The sexiness of this thang just overloaded my senses, you hear me. 🥵🔥 Now Miss Goldyn must be the luckiest woman on the planet, or she has God's ultimate favor, to end up in this situationship. Whew.... 🤩
Sincere, Lorenzo, and Rome were all so different, but together they worked. They had a beautiful friendship and took care of each other. "Everything about you is better than I expected."
This was my first MM, MMM, and "Why Choose" novel and I can say I had a great time with this one. There's nothing like enjoying every single character, scene, and conversation and this one hit the nail on the head.
Can I start off by saying my girl Goldyn needs a Magsafe case for her iPhone or something?! Girl. Keep that phone charged!
😂 But also...I'm glad that her phone died this time around because if it hadn't we never would've met Sincere, Lorenzo, and Romeo.
I love how Shon sets the scene in this all Black mountain town in NC called Bliss Peak. Goldyn is a very likeable FMC and she wants to own a bookstore and coffee shop! A girl after my own heart. Goldyn was the true definition of a free spirit and I admire that about her. There's something about freeing yourself from the corporate world and wandering off grid that is desirable and revolutionary. (To me at least)
And Goldyn creates her perfect found family that breathes even more life into her spirit and she does the same with them. Each character was unique to the story and the love between them was reciprocated. Ngl, I had to warm up to Rome but once I saw him for him, I was there to stay.
This retelling of a fairytale had a spin on it that was very Black, very mature, and very, very spicy! 🌶️ 🥵
The twists and turns we made were worth it and the story came together so beautifully. Shon set the scene and hopefully she takes us back to Bliss Peak soon!

still 5 stars. one thing about me? a black + queer poly novel HATES to see me coming! this was one of those books that it was SO easy to lose myself in the story instead of page/progress counting. i stayed up way too late to finish this one. from the writing style, to the character distinction, the romance, the passion, the SMUT, honeyyy. the smut was smutting. i AM indeed a slut for smut. when i say i was so jealous of goldyn? like? getting to be LOVED and ADORED by two queer men? showered in whatever you need? a bookstore owner & THREE fine ass men at your disposal? SIGN ME UP 💳💥💥💥
lorenzo was so dominant & giving. sincere was so sweet, tender & calming. romeo just need to be cracked open like a golden egg so you can see the goodies inside 🥰 i wouldn't choose either, girl! i really loved each of the characters so much, what they did, what they said, everything about em. they were written to perfection.

Anywho… I can say this book left me feeling like I still needed to know more about every character if you know what I mean.
It was a lot happening at once but at the same time I get that was sort of the plot of this book.
I can say I still enjoyed even though I wanted Goldyn to end up with just Rome🤣🤣 but I understand it was a MMFM for a reason

Goldilocks and the three Bears retailing 🩷MMFM poly romance/why choose 😍
I literally didn’t want to finish reading this book. This was the best retelling that I’ve personally ever read. I think that it was funny, relatable, modern, and each of the male characters embodied a little bit of the original bears. Goldy is literally Goldilocks. She has blonde hair, she loves to read. She is bubbly and kind, and just the sweetest. She was everything that each of the male characters needed. Sincere was my favorite, and he was a mix between a golden retriever and mama bear. He took care of everyone in a cooking and making sure everyone is OK way. He was so sweet and kind that I could not take it. Enzo was daddy bear for sure, and he was Dom, and he took care of everybody also but in the financial/fatherly way. Rome surprised me the most because he has this rough exterior, but he was like putty when it came to Goldy. He was the grumpy to her sunshine. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because there is no epilogue, and I felt like the story was unfinished. It literally ended so abruptly.

This was a four star read for me. This book is centered on connection, healing, and falling in love in a way that feels safe and intentional. To be seen, to be heard, to be loved, and to be protected. That is the core of every relationship in this story, and it worked for me.
The romance developed naturally, the dynamics were soft but meaningful, and it was a quick, comforting read that left me smiling. As always, I loved the why choose aspect, and if you’re in the mood for a cozy romance that focuses on emotional fulfillment and found family, I definitely recommend this one.

Love them down 😍 one of those sleepless night books, cause you cannot breakaway.
FIRST OF ALL , I knew this book was going to be good when I got the email about it was coming and I read the snippet and was ready! This book is a unconventional story sooooo when I say read the content warning you better cause you’ve been warn but I enjoyed this so much. I’m not going give no spoilers but I must say give JUST Right a chance cause babbeeeyyyy!!! Go in with a open mind & if you don’t have that don’t even bother! But very much worth it!!!

This book surpassed 5 chilli 🌶️ s 🥵😉 It was equally “SPICY” as it was a beautiful read on unexpected love, loss and forgiveness/togetherness.
Goldyn is living her BEST van life in Bliss Peak. While there she meets her 70year old bestie Ms. Ruby, Ms ruby’s husband and their dog “lady”. She has eyes on a space that would be perfect for her bookstore lounge she’s been wanting to building for some time now.
One day while our hiking, she gets lost and breaks into a home that will change her whole life forever.
Sincere (the baker 🧁) is attentive, sweet and the pleaser of her 3 men. Enzo (the consultant 💻) is the what we could call mature/safe love. You’ll take his advice over anyone’s and he’s always the voice for the group. Romeo (Our Holistic bae) while a little more introverted and to himself. He’s her safe haven. One you just never want to do life without. And when he loves, he loves HARD.
I loved reading all 4 POVS. Romeo making a herbal tea to help “Goldy” with her endometriosis pain had me teary eyed.
They made sure she got her book store. I love how She convinced Sin to open a bakery right beside her. Rome being right next door also just makes it such a beautiful team. The plot twist at the end was shocking and also pulled at my heart. She definitely needed that. 🥹
I could go on and on. This was such a good read. And baby those xrated scenes were something SPECIAL! This was my first read by the author and I plan on reading everything she writes! ❤️

What a beautiful book cover with a lot of fluffy nasty filth on the inside lol
I enjoyed this re-telling of Goldilocks And The Three Bears. You got Lorenzo and Sincere (bi-married couple). Loved their dynamic!!!! and then there’s Romeo who is their best friend & they all live together. Here comes Goldyn & they just all come to an agreement that she’s their gf. Took Romeo & a little longer to figure out his feelings but Goldyn pushed up on him and it was a wrap after that!
We get a little drama with Goldyn & her finding out about her absentee parents 🫶🏽
At some point I was waiting on Romeo to join in with all of them. But my guy was like that’s y’all thing lol 🤷🏽♀️ Overall, this was great MMMF why choose. I want to read more of this lol

A Must Read 🔥👀😍!
This is my 1st time reading Author Shon and you have a fan now 😍. Goldlyn, Sincere, Lorenzo and Romeo I loved everything about them together. Like they all truly loved each other finding Goldy just competed their puzzle for sure. They all loved her differently but equally. Romeo and Goldy I was waiting to see if they got married or something. I am glad Goldy got some closer from her past also. Shon I just wanted you to know I do not accept that ending because I want to know more 😭🤷🏾♀️🤣 like I really need more from these characters that’s how good this book was to read.

Perfect Title
Going 4 because as beautiful as the relationship was between Goldy and Rome I need more time with them. The chemistry and connection was done just as well as the others I just wanted more time with it and the last 20% the pace dragged a bit. And I think instead of waiting until the last minute to have a conversation about something Sin and Enzo knew they felt from basically the beginning it would have been better to get it done and then leave more time for the push and pull with Rome. Like really let it built up and watching him fighting his feels. This was my first Shon book…I know,
I know, I am late to the cool kids party but I did very much enjoy the writing and the way she explores connections. I love MM so that was a little light for my preferences but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED how she gave us a little platonic romance I swear it’s my favorite thing ever! A Why Choose Romance
I really enjoyed “Just Right” it was definitely a book that made me step out of my comfort zone! But I’m so glad I did! I loved the characters Sincere, Lorenzo, Goldyn and Romeo! Romeo was my favorite man because he had some mystery to him, but Sincere and the way he loved on everyone was everything! I highly recommend this read!

Reverse harem is officially my favorite trope.
I just love seeing different dynamics and how they can come together and work on in a way that’s respectful and loving. Imagine if every dynamic was like that? We’d be living in a better world!
Miss Goldy, she almost pissed me off towards the end because girl get it together PLEASE. But miscommunication is always apart of romance books so I knew something was coming to fuck up my day lol
Rome is definitely my fav boyfriend in this trio. I just like a grumpy exterior with mush in the inside lol
But Enzo and Sin are special too. Their connection with eachother is so sweet and natural and I really enjoyed that. Miss girl fit right on in!
This book is smut btw. Please understand. Wrapped in a pretty bow, however the story line was also T and the plot twist was unexpected!! I loved it. Buying the trophy!

I don’t want to say too much and ruin it for anyone. Goldyn broke into Sincere, Lorenzo and Romeo’s lives and made everything golden. I loved how likeable the characters were and the chemistry. And really, why chose when you can have all three😉

2⭐️: I liked this story. I liked how nice the men were to Goldyn, but I was not really into her being shared between the two and then all three later on 🥴😩 I only really cared about the build up of Goldyn and Rome’s relationship.

I enjoyed this book. I read it off and on all month. I would say it was mostly smut not much plot but I throughly enjoyed it. I recommend if you just want something smutty
