This was another wonderful book in the series! I appreciate Jenny highlighting these serious conditions!

What happens when you get paint splatter all over you and every physical touch hurts you and causes you pain…..and that very woman who is bubbly and outgoing and doesn’t give up easily becomes your assistant! Highly recommend!

Jenny Rabe’s Her Healing Touch is a compelling exploration of the boundaries between touch and emotional healing. The novel centers on Jason, whose aversion to physical contact is so severe that it has dictated every aspect of his life. Enter Hannah, a warm and tactile assistant hired to help Jason confront his barriers. The initial clash between their vastly different worldviews sets the stage for a deeply emotional journey.

Rabe skillfully navigates Jason’s struggles with his sensitivity and Hannah’s relentless empathy, creating a dynamic that is both challenging and poignant. The plot takes a significant turn following a workplace accident involving Hannah, which acts as a catalyst for Jason’s transformation. This event not only shifts Jason’s perspective but also propels the story into a tender exploration of vulnerability and connection.

The characters are well-developed, with Jason’s internal conflict and Hannah’s resilience standing out. The writing is engaging, though some might find the resolution a bit predictable. Nevertheless, the heartfelt moments and character growth make up for it.

Overall, Her Healing Touch is a touching read that delves into the complexities of emotional barriers and the healing power of human connection. It’s a story that will resonate with anyone who has ever struggled with their own limitations and the courage it takes to overcome them.

Really enjoyable sweet romance. This is the second book in author Jenny Rabe's neurodivergent romance series. In this story, our MMC, Jason, is sensitive to touch. Physical touch causes him discomfort and/or pain. He avoids people as much as possible so he can limit the possibility of being touched. He takes the back stairs. He avoids the elevator, the main lobby, etc. He carefully plans his movements to minimize contact. Into this carefully scripted life waltzes Hannah. Hannah is a jill of all trades, substitute PE teacher, face painting artist, dog walker extraodinaire. Hannah is a toucher. She does not understand, at first, why Jason tries avoiding her, but she is clued into his sensitivity by Jason's admin and Hannah wants to help. Hannah works on ways to help Jason by having him take private Tae Kwon Do lessons with her instructor and having him go on dog walks with her where they encounter other people walking dogs. It's baby steps until it isn't. I think this is a really well done sweet romance and Jason's sensitivity to touch is handled with compassion and affection.

Her Healing Touch was such an inspiring book to read as an Autism Mom. It gave 2 different perspectives of an aversion to touch through Jason, the MMC & Hannah’s, the FMC, who is a sensory seeker and craves touch. What a combination huh? My son has sensory issues as part of his Autism. He sometimes craves touch & other times rejects and flinches from it. I love how this author helped me understand my son’s sensory issues in a way I hadn’t thought of. This book was amazing. I loved the way Hannah helped Jason work through his touch issues to discover she is his exception. He overcomes so much with her patience. Will this transpire into more than a working relationship? You must read to find out and I promise you this one is swoon worthy 😍.

Book 2 is absolutely amazing! I can relate a bit to these characters regarding touch sensitivity. Two sides of the “touch” coin are shown in this story. I appreciate how they learn to leave fear, discomfort, deprivation, and other issues behind as they work together to learn how best to interact together, as a team. Both are forgiving and brave of one another as their “quirks” upend things. They turn their “weaknesses” into powerful strengths and come to appreciate their individual uniqueness. Life isn’t represented here as smooth sailing, but rather as a journey full of challenges and opportunities.

Book 2 in Jenny Rabe's neurodiverse series is truly a sweet, touching read. (You see what I did there?!) The two main characters are opposites in almost every way. He has pain from touch, she gets warmth from touch and doesn't even feel pain the same way most do. He had a bit of a prickly outer shell that you and Hannah have to get through together, but you wind up loving then both in their own unique ways. It's a soft and heartwarming romance without the smut, that helps you see the world through different eyes. Definitely a fun read.

Jason has an aversion to touch, and Hannah seeks it. What could go wrong when these two worlds collide? From Hannah's and Jason's first encounter, I was hooked! I hope you enjoy reading how these two navigate their differences in need for touch to form their perfect love story. I loved this story. I hope you will, too.

You must read this funny and romantic love story that Jenny has masterfully written.

All the emotions come out in this story!! Jenny tells an amazing and heartfelt story about a neurodivergent man who hates to be touched and a woman who is energetic and a touch seeker.
You can just imagine the pain he goes through and her pain too when he doesn’t seem to want a relationship with her. Even after spending so much time together and getting to be close friends.
You will fall in love with the characters and enjoy this heartfelt sweet romance story.

Great story about two different neurodivergent individuals who both help each other over difficult transitions. Not being able to touch other people without pain, Jason has a difficult time even working with others in his job. Hannah is hired to help him with these issues and they are able to help each other. Clean romance and some humor. I enjoyed this book.

This was another adorable romance by Jenny Rabe. Jason struggles with physical touch while his new office assistant Hannah seeks physical touch. Their romance is fun and full of understanding. The relationship between the two of them made me think of Sheldon and Penny from The Big Bang Theory if they had been love interests. Highly recommend this sweet romance!

This book was not my cup of tea. The second both their neurodivergencies were told to us the book was easily called for me. It is well written and if this is your normal genre, you will really enjoy the book.

This was a great read! In the book, Jason avoids touch while Hannah is drawn to it. Jason and Hannah were opposites, yet complemented each other. The Ying and Yang dynamic, each others healing touch. This is a sweet, heartwarming book with a unique perspective. Definitely worth the read.

A Great Read

A story of a man that can’t stand to be touched and a woman who has to touch everything. Her touch isn’t painful to him like everyone else’s. Will they get together or will his pain return.
It’s an amazing story. I highly recommend it.
