Sarah is fleeing her fiance, after discovering his disception and lies. She is on her way to California. Taking a wrong turn and then accidentally hitting a rancher's fence, she meets Ben. Ben a widowed rancher with an 8 year old daughter is weathered by life. He doesn't want to be attracted to the city girl that ends up in his place. His protective nature kicks in and soon he is vowing to protect Sarah from her ex and pretending they are a couple to do so. While Sarah's car is being fixed and her ex's treachery is being discovered these two find love and a second chance to be happy. This was an okay story. I didn't feel the chemistry between these two and found their lack of communication and expectations of each other to be frustrating and unrealistic.

Another great Colby Quinn romance! Colby is rapidly becoming one of my fav romance writers, falling for the small town grump is yet another heartwarming lobe story with a great plot and a few twists thrown in for good measure. I loved the dual POV and felt it helped me connect with the characters. Several times i caught myself smiling like a Cheshire cat whilst reading it. Colby is an author il continue to follow and if you want a feel good, heartfelt, emotional romance you should too!

OMG 😱 this was a great book. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. It was addicted. Sarah and Ben the chemistry and the physical attraction was steamy and romance. Could this be love for them or was this a mind blowing moment of passion.

I'd recommend Falling for the Small-Town Grump to any romance reader who loves their romance stories steamy, realistic, and with a couple worth fighting for. Sarah and Ben are both exciting and romantic that will light up the sky like the 4th of July fireworks. I LOVE the cover and think he is a keeper for sure.

This is the first book I have read by Ms. Quinn, and it won't be the last! A heart-warming story, it definitely held my attention and was more than 5 stars from me! This was a steamy intriguing story. The writing was captivating, and the characters were believable and well-defined. The plot had many twists and turns dealing with suspense, excitement and some steamy romance!

Just take a left turn at Oklahoma. A story that doesn’t start out as a romance but ends up as one. There is a fence that comes between the two characters and starts the ball rolling. This is a book that begs you to keep reading and it is very easy to do just that. The twists are present and have you hoping for a different outcome. The ending is satisfying as the book was so hard to put down.
