I was born in the fine year of 1971 in Park Ridge, IL. I am a life long Chicago resident and I love the city. I spent a few years in St. Louis, as well. I knew I wanted to write from the time I sat down at my mom's electric typewriter in the 3rd grade. Now I do write. I write freelance and articles for online news sources. I write horror, thrillers and detective novels. I also write non-fiction in true crime and history genres. I publish my fiction myself as an indie publisher and write and have found an audience for my work among ebook fans. I publish for Kindle, Nook and other tablets and devices at Smashwords.com. My non-fiction is usually published in print, but that may soon change as ebooks become more and more of the norm.

I agree with the other reviewers. This book is poorly written. It begins by giving the history of the Lemp family. This section is the most interesting and well written part of the book. The other sections fall flat and are poorly written. The author writes about several haunted places that I had never heard about. He gives a good overview of the Lemp family and St. Louis history. I recommend this book if you would like a condensed version of the Lemp family saga and if you don't mind repetition and grammar errors. 2 & 1/2 stars.

this book, although i managed to get some interesting info out of it, was VERY poorly written. i'm talking lots of grammatical errors and misspelled words. the author was very bad about repeating himself, and i think it was because he was trying to fill the book to make it longer. i am going to try to read another book dealing with similar subject material and see if it is better.
