I'm very in-like and close to in love with this book!
I love the way this story begins. It's clean and tight with its set-up. Where we meet Myka in her life, her crossroads, and how she winds up where she does. The Whys behind her instant attraction to Rev and how it all makes sense. It's organic. I love that. I love how strong Myka is too. To come from where she did, and the sheltered upbringing she had, one would not think her mettle was as strong as it turned out to be. But Myka had an awesome blessing going for her, she was raised within a strong foundation. I believe this is what gets her through her dark period and makes her better, stronger and more formidable because of it. I'm very proud of Myka..
I love the mystery clouds surrounding Rev and his crew. I love Rev. Period. When he finally gives us his story though, I broke. I just ugly cried right there and couldn't stop. This made me love him even more... Rev is just.. a bad a&& MoFo.. I love him. He's EVERYTHING. From his look. His walk, his talk, his voice, his thoughts and actions; he's just EVERYTHING.
Now, why this one could not hit the 5 star platinum status, is because there were many instances here that felt way too much like a Kristen Ashley Colorado Mountain/Dream Man series mash up. From certain lingo used, to the over explained settings of clothes, rooms, buildings etc., to the flat out way too similar scenario, of what occurred with Lauren and Tate for KA's Sweet Dreams novel, when it came to Rev going back home with Myka and meeting her family as well as the dreaded Ex...
All of this was WAY TOO SIMILAR.. So much so that it felt like a copy and not a coincidence.
I also hated how the mystery of Rev and the Why he can't be with Myka all fell so flat. It was all too simplified for my taste. To the point where the threat wasn't really a threat at all. I also didn't care for all the simpleton/easy manner of all these people, how they eased into it so quickly after the conflict. I mean literally haven't even left the building yet, and they're all just shooting the sh^t like nothing happened.. Especially where Myka was concerned. I find it hard to reconcile someone who has not been around this type of violence, be so nonchalant about it so soon after all the things she just witnessed and was a part of.. That didn't feel or sound true at all..
And what was the deal with all of these highly trained killers not ever being able to kill anymore, especially when a threat is perceived or when a loved one is under threat? This was never explained here.. And WTH is their boss? Why is there a Brotherhood of their kind to begin with? NONE of these questions, that are placed at the forefront at the beginning and middle of this story, none of these questions are answered here.. Even though they were used as obstacles for Rev and Myka being together..
Will these questions be answered as the series goes on? I hope so.
I do like/love this story. I am intrigued by many of the men within this brotherhood as well.
Especially Chance and Kane.. Kane is book 2, so I'm reading him next..
I would definitely recommend this book.
Hopefully, soon, I will be able to recommend this series as a whole as well.

3.5 STARS!
And it was good. I loved the writing, especially the first half where I was fully invested. I found the heroine, Myka, easy to identify with and I liked how she stuck to her guns. Rev, on the other hand, was pretty OTT, but his inner struggles rang true. I was fully on board.
Where I got kicked off the train, so to speak, was in the second half. Now, I don't mind it when an author leans in to a few cliches. I really don't. But here, leaning was taken to a whole other level, first with the steamy bits and then with Rev's backstory.
But overall a winner and I'll definitely read more by this author.
I have no capacity for a one-night stand, or a random hookup. I'm just not that girl. But I can fantasize, right?My first Jasinda Wilder book! Crazy, I know!

I have no words for this book, it took me to places - good places.
I recommend this book to all who want a book full of sentimental love, inner struggles, and overcoming.
This book showed me a story of a woman who found herself again, after losing it in one of the most heartbreaking ways possible.
It's a story of sorrowful pasts and happy endings (pun intended) and the will of people to want to show love for themselves and to share it with others.
I just want to say this:

Jasinda girl you knocked this book out of the park! I had totally forgot how amazing you write alpha males. Rev and Myka's story had me wanting to savor every single word but dying to find out what would happen next.
If you are looking for a hot read about a broken Alpha and the woman who worms her way into fixing him then this is the book for you.

This is an amazing story! I loved Rev and Myka. I can't say much without giving too much away. They're are both broken, in completely different ways. I don't think Rev really realized he was broken, which is even more heartbreaking. Myka's story is also tragic. This is sexy, sweet, heartbreaking, healing, ugly, beautiful, yeah, it's got all that and more. Rev and Myka are perfect together, each giving the other exactly what they need.
There were a few small things that bugged me a little but, not enough to drop my rating and not enough to take away from the overall story. At some point I will continue with this series. I would recommend this book. At the time of this post it was available on KU

I was glued from this book from start to end ! and loved every moment , Rev is fantastic ... what he went through 👀🤯👀🤯 and Myka 😍 what she went through to ... when i found out every thing she went through 👀🤯👀🤯 and the spice 🥵🥵🥵 im looking so forward to reading the other books

Wow, this is an absolutely stunning read!! Once I'd started it I couldn't put it down, I was completely engrossed in this one - the characters, the backgrounds, the world - brilliant from start to finish. This group of men, the Broken Arrows are crazy hot - ex-military with dark pasts, broken, brooding, scary, alpha and protective. This is Rev's story.
Rev and his brothers work in Club Sin, where they have been taken in by their boss and bound by an unbreakable oath. Their run the security in the club, on the doors, patrolling around making sure that there is no trouble. Club Sin is very exclusive, frequented by the rich and famous, who pay mega bucks to be in there. Rev has never known anything but pain, abuse and hardship in his life, never had a family but for his brothers (not in blood), he is pure muscle, driven, hard, downright scary and lives for what he does, with no expectation of ever having anything akin to a normal life, until Myka.
Myka is on a journey to find herself, having been brought up in a wonderful and loving environment and coming from a big family with lots of siblings and nephews / nieces, very religious, no swearing, having saved herself for her husband, only to have him cheat on her, divorce her and throw her out of her home. She finds herself in Las Vegas having been befriended and taken on a bachelorette party to Club Sin. She is quite wasted and in a tight spot when Rev comes to her aid. This is the start of a very special friendship.
These two are complete polar opposites to each other, but are so suited and perfect. Rev knows Myka is not cut out for his world, he has done bad things and she is an angel, he tries to keep his distance and keep away from her, but Myka is determined to get to know him better.
I can't tell you how much I adored this one, it's gritty, emotional, dark and sinister, with plenty of action and drama, but the emotions coming off these two are just everything. Rev just does not know what he has done to deserve Myka in his life, he has never known emotions like these, he does not really know how to handle them or how to react. Myka is an absolute diamond, having been through hell with her ex she is determined to help Rev and show him what love and affection mean in his life. She is so strong in this, their connection is so very tangible, I just couldn't get enough of them.
As for the heat, oh my word, what a scorcher!! The bedroom scenes are just wow, very intense, very steamy, very descriptive but also very real... left me a little breathless to say the least!!
This has to be one of my top reads of the year, and I can't wait to meet the rest of the Broken Arrows, Kane is next. Don't miss this one!

Another fantastic book by Jasinda. If you enjoyed the Alpha Security series and the Badd Brothers books you will enjoy this. I’m looking forward to the rest of the guys having their stories told.

When they meet for the first time it’s under circumstances that Myka never thought she would be in. She feels safe wit Rev and he would do anything to protect her.
Their love is explosive and the sexy scenes in this book are fire! I loved this story and how two broken people find and heal each other.
All of the broken arrow men deserve the world and I cannot wait to meet all of the women that can bring them to their knees. Based on the epilogue, Kane is next and his book cannot come soon enough!

Whoa baby, you are in for a ride with this one. You have the brotherhood relationships like Badd Brothers and all of the grit of the alpha characters.
This book has all the feels. If you’re into action and a lot of steam this book is perfect for you. I really enjoyed Rev and Myka. They had chemistry from the start even if neither of them were looking for it.
I’m really excited for more to come in this series.

I wasn't sure about this one as I started it. Myka seemed too good, too perfect, but that really wasn't her. She had been through hell and was trying to find her way back, the thing she had going for her was that she had a great family who supported her no matter what and always had her back. I didn't think Vegas would be the place for her, but in the end it was the perfect place. Much could be said for Sin and the job she found there due to being enthralled by Rev. Neither of those should have worked for her, but they did.
My heart broke for Rev as he shared his past and you saw easily why/how he was just as enthralled with Myka as she was with him. He kept trying to warn her away, but Myka kept turning the bad things in his past to show how it made him such a good man today.
Rev at Myka's family farm was funny! He was such a fish out of water, but he needed to see what a "real" family looked like, how they showed love, how they stood up for each other. By the time they left, you could see where they all accepted him because Myka claimed him.
The drama at the end was a bit crazy and I was glad that things were cleared up quickly. It let Rev and Myka start to build a life together and be happy, something both deserved.

DNF at 20%. I was looking forward to reading about FMC from religious background who got married at 18, finding out who she is after divorce. But I cannot with the MMC, his dialog is grating, his POV is sexist and he doesn't give me good vibes (even tho the author clearly tries to give him some tortured but noble air)

what i love about JW's writing ...it has such a good style, grit ...curious times ...where you wonder where she will take you. i love her characters. they have a backbone. where if a lady might have had a not so good past for whatever reason ...she ends up getting a pair of lady balls and whipping her life back into shape. the men they meet (get involved) are great, have a past, might be a bit rough around the edges, but that gives them character, makes you curious, has you wondering?? good ending. i want more. they always have a family ..be it a family that is connected to them through or by blood or just a work family. there are always "family connections". good sex scenes. i wish for more ...you can see how her characters from different books are similar ...or at least written by the same person. love that. i feel this is a beginning to another series and i love that. i miss the Badd Brothers series ..i know broken record but i am curious/excited to see where JW will take us?? come on ... i am ready for another fun ride. let's go. and thank you kindly for allowing me to read this one. thank you. gotta jet more to read. laters.

What away to start off the new series Dirty Beasts ! It was FANTASTIC!! Rev is a hard nut to crack with his military background and his hard childhood but when her meets Myka Donovan he feels his heart cracking a little bit every time even if he is a member of the Broken Arrow !!
Myka has her own personal she is dealing with when she meets Rev and she instantly feel that same pull Rev feels. Myka had a loving family and religious background growing up but had a bad bad marriage so she is traveling to find herself again and she finds REV !!
Will he let her into his heart since he doesn’t know what love feels like or will he continue to push her away because he feels he is nooooo gooodddd for her !!
These two were made for each other just by the way they first meet !! She needs finding and he finds her annddddd oh boy does he find her in quite a predicament !! Lol

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "DIRTY BEASTS : REV" This was one very interesting, entertaining, intriguing, engaging, action packed story with plenty of steam, dark dangerous violent pasts, your hooked up the end.
Myka has a rough marriage now divorced wants to start somewhere new find someone to love & cherish her she strong she heads to Vegas.

I definitely recommend to this amazing story with awesome characters you can't get enough of following Rev & Myka's journey to get their HEA its a must read for sure.
I'm so looking forward the next book on this series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the first book in a brand new series Club Sin: Dirty Beast.
Mykas divorce has just been finalized. She just wants to get out of town to find herself. Her journey has her landing her in las Vegas. She finds her way into Club Sin and way out of her league.
Rev and his brothers make up the Broken Arrow club. They are ex military and work security at Club Sin.
They are all huge beast of men not to be messed with. Rev comes to rescue Myka and thats all it takes for him to be puddy in her small hands.
This book was smoldering hot. I absolutely loved it and that epilogue has me so ready for the next book! Bring on more of these hot broading military men.

I can't say enough about this book. I loved Rev and his determination to keep Myka at arms length. But, even though Myka was brought up in a very christian household, her marriage and inevitable divorce has given her conscience some wiggle room. She finds herself extremely attracted to Rev and is determined to push that until she gets what she wants. This is an amazing book that I truly enjoyed. I loved Rev's military brothers, their banter and their acceptance of Myka. I am so looking forward to book 2, that I'm antsy. This is going to be another addictive series, I can already feel it. I love this author and I highly recommend her as well as this book. This is getting ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What an amazingly intense story that just grabbed you and wouldn’t let go!!

Rev and Myka were just way too hot to handle. Absolutely adored their whole relationship, just fire!

What an amazing 1st book in a brand new series! This story will suck you in and spit you out at the end, and all you can say is "Wow!". So many emotions and crazy good characters. Grab this one and enjoy the ride!

This is the first book in this new series from this author and what a fantastic start this book is. This is the story of Rev and Myka, these two characters were just made for each other. This is an intense, passionate, hot and steamy, have you on the edge of your seat, heartbreaking story from this author. The epilogue is just amazing and sets the scene for the next book perfectly. This book will hook you from the first page and keep you reading long into the night. I can't wait to read the next book in this series as soon as possible.

This book has so many things I love, I am not even sure where to start. It is the kind of story that only Jasinda Wilder can write. You pick up this dirty beast you think it is going on way but instead you get a growly possessive alpha hero who needs some goodness in his life.
It has been a while since I have read a book that I was so absorbed in that I shut out the world and just read cover to cover.
If you are looking for a super spicy romance with tangible emotions, I cannot recommend this book enough. This is a story that will stick with you. It is a story that touches your soul and brings new meaning to the state of joy and hope in romance.

Oh my!!! I didn’t want this book to end. I was literally hooked from the first page and I struggled to put the book down. I made excuses to not do something, just so I could read a few more pages. Myka is having a fresh start and just starts driving, with no place in mind. She ends up in Vegas and meets Rev. It’s not all plain sailing and he’s super alpha, which is what I love about this authors writing. I know if there are more books to this series they’ll be full of more good stuff. Please write the next one quick.

Jasinda Wilder never fails to pull me into her stories. Rev was no exception. I felt immediately for our heroine, Myka, from the beginning and admire how she didn’t let her circumstance kill her spirit. She is one spirited woman, with such a heart. Our hero, Rev, is a handsome, beastly man with quite the past, who you can’t help but fall in love with. Club Sin is the last place you’d expect to find Myka, but Rev outwardly oozes “sin.” Get ready for the fire to burn when these two meet! I can’t wait for more from the men of Club Sin!
