Return to Serenity

The misty, Carolina moon cast a dim glow in the
evening sky as dusk gathered around them.
Ross pulled Maggie into an embrace and kissed her with such intensity that she fell against him. Gently, he eased her down onto the lush, green grass at the water’s edge.
His lips never left hers as he lowered himself over her. “You’re the world to me Maggie, my everything,” he whispered, his voice husky with passion. In Return to Serenity, the sequel to Serenity, tensions build as Maggie and Ross are forced to deal with problems from their pasts, coupled with new threats that arise to endanger their very way of life.

Return to Serenity by Dixie Land. After reading SERENITY you get attached to the characters and want to know how life is now. To give you a hint, there are children, adoption, cancer issues, kidnapping, concern for friends and neighbors. It's real life turned into a story of the characters you already know. Dixie has a wonderful ability to write about family relationships, romance, and suspense. Each page leads you on to more action and answers to the problems lurking ahead. Again you can't set the book down. You just must finish it.

This book is a continuation of the story of Ross and Maggie and since I read Serenity I knew I had to read the end of the story. You find out how their life together begins and though they face a lot of problems from their past it is all solved and their love is strong enough to endure all of their disappointments and dangers they have faced together. Another page turner to the end. Norma Hammer, Clinton, IA
