Network Analysis

Rate this book
Network Analysis brings the concepts and applications of this procedure to the broader social science audience and their students. The authors systematically inventory the central features of the network analytic technique, cite original sources to be consulted for greater detail, and suggest diverse applications in social science research. 'The book itself is...comprehensive and it has the low level of mathematics typical of this series...a good place for a social scientist to start.' -- Bethlem and Maudsley Gazette, Vol 31 No 2, 1983

As simple as it should sound to do network analysis, I really really needed more instruction. This book delivered. It very simply lays out how it is done, what you should think about and how to go about doing it.

Examples are exceedingly clear. It forms the basics of network analysis. I'm sure this will get signficantly more complicated after I start my work, but this is the perfect book for an introduction in getting started.
