I read this book, primarily because I'm having lunch soon with one of the authors, Yehuda Nir, to discuss his book "Lost Childhood." (See my review of that book.) I thought I would read this, his only other book, just to be informed. It’s a book written with his wife and for women. However, there are interesting insights in it for men as well. The authors discuss “lovestyles” defined as ways of relating that lead to an intimate bond with another person. The authors present twelve interesting case studies of women with very different lovestyles, each of which is unsuccessful and self-defeating for these women. In each case, they present recommendations for breaking the self-defeating pattern. I really enjoyed these case studies and I recommend the book.
