With the majestic Rocky Mountains just outside the window, I sit at my computer with vampires, demons, witches, faeries, and a variety of paranormal creatures gathered around telling me their stories! That makes me an author of paranormal romance novels and cozy mysteries with magic spark. The everyday world is mundane, but sprinkle a little magic and you have fantastic!

Colorado is home. I share my life with a wonderful husband of many moons, our brilliant Chow Chow, a terribly spoiled companion parrot, and a forty-year-old
box turtle. We enjoy hiking, biking, and camping, also love water sports including kayaking and whitewater
rafting, especially on the Arkansas River through the Royal Gorge.

Another passion of mine is reading a good novel. You can find me any winter evening curled up in front
of a crackling fire with a good book, a mug of hot chocolate, and a big bowl of popcorn. While growing up, if I didn’t like the ending of a book, I’d rewrite it, which led to writing my own books.

Reluctantly, I discovered that in real life it’s tough to rewrite an ending.

The population is growing fast, both magical and non-magical, and it’s causing some distress among the residents of Aspen Ridge. Candle’s security firm is overflowing with cases, including missing persons. Can Candle and her husband, Miacoh, figure out what’s going on before more go missing? Terrabyte Security is another intriguing paranormal mystery set in a small town in the heart of the Colorado mountains. I love this small town and the characters who inhabit it. They are what make this book impossible to put down.

Let’s start with the characters. Candle is the owner of a security firm while also married to Miacoh, who happens to be the town’s chief of police. I love these two. They are a realistic couple who are the heart of the town. Everything seems to revolve around them and that is just fine with me. I get to live vicariously through Candle and Miacoh as they work through the missing persons cases and what is going on.

The rest of the characters are well-written, and I enjoyed learning about them and their motivations. Tena Stetler’s strength is character development, and it is on display in this book. Each character, even the secondary characters, leap from the page. If you’re not careful, they will cling to your heart.

The plot is well-executed with a fair amount of mystery. Twists and turns had me whipping through the pages. I can be honest and admit I read late into the night.

If you love paranormal romantic mysteries set in a small mountain town with quirky characters, you need to read Terrabyte Security. A fabulous story from start to finish.

In the Mountain Town Mysteries series, Candle Bearclaw and her husband Miacoh have their work cut out for them. She’s running a new security firm, and Miacoh has recently taken over as chief of police from his father. Only, back in his dad’s day, the town of Aspen Ridge was a small, sleepy place. Now, it’s growing out of control with magical and non-magical residents living and working side by side. When a few people go missing, Candle and Miacoh will have to team up with an indigenous woman, Molly, and one of Candle’s employees, a cocky Aussie named Cayson, to save the day.
I enjoyed this story. The best part is that we—the reader—gets to read scenes from multiple point of views, so we really get a well-rounded version of what was going on. I loved that there were two romantic couples featured (Candle and Miacoh; Molly and Cayson).
I so wish the town of Aspen Ridge existed. It seems like a wonderful small town, where people actually care about each other. I’d move there if I could!
For readers who enjoy romantic suspense with paranormal vibes, deep relationships between family and friends, and happily ever afters, check out Tena Stetler’s Terrabyte Security.

“A sleepy little town, Aspen Ridge, nestled in the Colorado Rockies, is experiencing major growing pains…”

And so begins the adventure! From the moment you enter Aspen Ridge, Ms. Stetler immerses you into the story with her unique writing talent. With the main protagonists, Molly Reacher and Cayson Eriksson, the romance is slow-burn, and I enjoyed seeing how they worked together to solve issues. The twists and turns in this cozy, paranormal mystery kept me flipping pages until late one night. I had to solve the cases along with the characters!

One of the most enduring parts I found were the special moments between two secondary characters—Fantasy and Future. They added another magical spark into the story. Delightful! I also enjoyed reconnecting with previous characters from the first book in this series, especially Candle and Miacoh Bearclaw. Though this is book two in the Mountain Town Mysteries, you can definitely read Terrabyte Security as a standalone. Ms. Stetler gives you just enough information from the first story without overwhelming the reader. A perfect flow.

Thank you, Ms. Stetler, for writing another outstanding story. Keep them coming!

Aspen Ridge is a small town in the Colorado Rockies where Candle Bearclaw, a former CIA agent, has a security firm, Terrabyte. Her best friend's husband, a software entrepreneur, goes missing so Candle and her husband, Miacoh who's also the chief of police, take the case. In addition, Molly Reacher, an indigenous woman, asks Candle to take her case which consists of identity theft as well as a friend who is missing. The missing woman is Native American and law enforcement is not taking the case seriously. Can the missing be found and Molly's case be solved?

This is the second book of the Mountain Town Mysteries and it was an absolutely amazing read. The book was well-written with well-developed characters and a fast-paced plot. I was immediately drawn into this captivating story and kept hooked from beginning to end. The mystery was intriguing with lots of twists and turns. Along with the mystery is romance and some suspense and a paranormal twist. There's a real sense of family and friendship in this book too. I sincerely hope there's more to come from this series as I loved books one and two which I highly recommend.

I dropped into this series with Terrabyte Security
I had no problems following who was who and what was what
I did however catch the urge to grab book one to find out how it all started
What can I say this was a fun easy-to-read small-town supernatural mystery romantic suspense that hit just right.

Terrabyte Security did small-town right with well-crafted and eccentric characters that were easy to connect with.
Implanted in a storyline that captured my attention from the beginning and kept me guessing right up to the reveal. I did have my hunches.
- NO peeking!

Again great cast of characters that truly are relatable
And a fun twisty mystery that kept me guessing

This is a book I chose from its synopsis. I had never read a book by Tena Stetler but had heard of her before.

My first thought about this book was “oh no”. Not because it isn’t written well nor because it isn’t easy to read. It’s great on both those counts. However, it’s of the paranormal genre. Not my favorite genre. But you know what? I didn’t miss a word.

This read just like a good suspense novel, almost a thriller. I surprised myself actually. Some of the small town “oddities” (magical ones) began to fit with the story. What turned out was that I enjoyed every bit of it. Will read another. Tena Stetler has lots of books published on Amazon. Check them out.

I found this story addictive, hence, I kept turning pages and enjoyed the twists. The magical parts were well done and not over done.
My only complaint about the story is that if an author is going to include an Aussie, that person should sound at least a little bit like an Aussie. We are a little different from the rest lol.
This is a new author to me and I'll read more from her.
I received a free advance review copy and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Terrabyte Security is the second book in the Mountain Town Mysteries by Tena Stetler. Terrabyte Security was as good if not better than the first book Security Force of Two.

The mystery and suspense kept me hanging on every word. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I was kept on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was happening.

Candle Bearclaw’s new security firm, Terrabyte is growing. Candle’s best friend’s husband goes missing. He was on his way home but he never got off the airplane at his destination. Where is he? What happened to him? Was he kidnapped? Maybe he is in hiding?

Candle with the help of her husband, Miacoh, the new chief of police searches for her friend’s husband Ben. Candle’s investigation leads her to another missing person a Native American woman. Are the two missing persons cases related? What is going on? How are they related? So many unanswered questions. The mystery continues.

I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the Mountain Town Mysteries. I can’t wait to see what Candle and Miacoh have on their agenda for next time.

I recommend grabbing a copy of Terrabyte Security and while you are there you can grab a copy of the first book Security Force of Two as well.

Suspense and passion done right!

Terrabyte Security is the second book in Tena Stetler’s suspenseful and passion-filled Mountain Town Mysteries series, and cases involving returning characters and new ones combine for an intriguing return to the small town of Aspen Ridge. With business booming and romance blossoming, I was hooked by the latest cases and enjoyed the story from start to finish.

While Candle Bearclaw and her new husband, Miacoh, are the main protagonists of the series, this new adventure focuses on their friend, employee, and confirmed bachelor, Cayson Eriksson. However, Molly Malone Reacher, a new client and the apparent victim of identity theft and a stalker, might just be the woman to change Cayson’s personal status. Although they experience an immediate attraction to each other, both resist following through initially, but they realize quickly that there’s something special between them. The resulting passion is a scorcher.

I was absorbed by the intricate plot, which presents multiple mysteries to unravel. One of these mysteries involves Ben Alrich, the husband of Candle’s best friend, Gabby. The tension surrounding his disappearance was particularly intense, and Gabby’s distress was truly heart-wrenching. New client Molly’s situation is complex, with a couple of theories to pursue as to who is behind her troubles. One such theory involves the thesis she was working on for her degree, and, if the statistics about missing Indigenous women cited in the story are correct, they are absolutely shocking. This complexity and suspense will keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Between the compelling plot and slow-burn romance, I couldn’t put this book down. I recommend TERRABYTE SECURITY to readers of adult romantic suspense.

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving an Advance Review Copy from the author through Goddess Fish Promotions Book Tours.
