The character and world build is done so well, without dragging. You are invested immediately. There are unexpected plot twist. I read it quickly the first time. I am now reading for a second time, but taking it slow so I can savor storyline. You will not be disappointed, it’s a must read.

The booked was one of the worst I’ve ever read… The grammar was horrible. I had to push through and wished I dnfed. Character arcs weren’t there no chemistry and very confusing writing…

Key of Anadendria reminds me of a mix between Fourth Wing and ACOTAR. The plot in the first novel shows promise for what could turn into a very expansive world, especially considering that this is the author’s debut novel.

DNFed at 23%. Sadly I couldn’t get into it, and I was also very confused most of the time. The world building was nonexistent. I didn’t feel anything for either of the main characters and yes I believe I should feel something for the MCs by 23% !!

An incredible fantasy with hidden magic, found family, he falls first, betrayal, training montages, an academia beginning and so much more.

First off, congratulations to Meg the author on her first publication! So exciting and so well done!

Here are a few of my favorite things…
- the locked eyes and he falls first moment. SO GOOD
- the found family moments are perfect. I love how she connects with the people around her and the full circle moments when the reappear later
- there are so many reveals in the last couple chapters! It’s so fun trying to figure out who is who and how they are connected
- multiple POV offers great insight into the world and little hints at the reveals

I cannot wait for more!!

There were some parts that I felt like should have been explained better or explored more before moving on but overall GREAT first book!!!

I wish it had explained Ciro and Asena knowing each other as kids better, or how Ciro knew about her powers. I was also confused when Ciro was all of a sudden an immortal god. That needed a little more explaining or maybe I just missed it. Kinda confused about the stories of brothers and sisters happening too…is there two different sets of siblings being talked about or is there only one and Kane is related to all of the fae siblings that are currently alive? Also, Killian showing up one time and then nothing else?! I need more!!!! I need to know wtf is going on! 😂

Can’t wait for the second book! I was really impressed by this one.

I ordered this book as a presale. And it’s been on my TBR shelf since. Now starting this book. I honestly thought there was no way I could get through it. However. I read this whole book in 1 day. I could not put it down. And the fact it was left as a cliffhanger?!? That was quite rude. 🤣🤣. I hope this author goes places. She is talented for sure. And I just know her writing will grow with her as she continues. 🥰

This book started with a bang and never slowed down! It was such a fast paced fantasy that I really enjoyed and I am dying for the next one to come out so I can binge through it just like I did this one! There was just something about this book I could not put it down. I am not someone who binges books but I read most of this book in two days I just couldn't let it go!

This world is so chaotic but in the absolute best way. This book really has the bones to be an amazing series! I really just wanted more. In the beginning everything was escalating and happening so fast that I still felt a little lost, but the ending though! I am looking forward to the next book! This was a great debut novel!

Book Review: Key to Anadendria by Meg Ellis
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Love this book times a million)

Key to Anadendria took me on a whirlwind journey from the very first page. The fast-paced romance, unfolding from strangers to lovers to enemies, had me hooked and desperate to see how everything would play out. Asenia and Ciros share an undeniable connection, filled with electric banter and a chemistry that leaps off the page. But when Ciros’s father forces him to do the unthinkable, the stakes skyrocket. Can Asenia ever forgive him?

Magic and dragons add vivid layers to an already spellbinding world, making every twist feel both high-stakes and enchanting. Meg Ellis doesn’t just write a great story—she’s an amazing person whose passion and talent shine through in every chapter. If you’re looking for a tale that will capture your heart and imagination, Key to Anadendria is absolutely it!

ACOTAR meets Fourth Wing.
Fae, Magic, Dragons.
The world building was well done.
The plot.. so many twists and turns that you'll be on the edge of your seat. My mouth quite literally dropped several times.
