Apparently, Rydrea has a twin sister, Taleya. She is set to be sacrificed to the dragon in her stead. When the family take off for other parts, they end up on a habitable planet with a tribe, the Narubatan, that can help guard and hide everyone from the Enforcers. They hold feline like appearances and have special powers. Qui Qui and her sister are enjoying their time there when all of a sudden, Qui Qui feels that weird sensation, she has with her two mates…it is the prince of the people, Rocheed. Only, there is a jealous female who will attempt to thwart anything between them.
Taleya will find her way around Kepler, maybe even a mate. Everyone is running parallel of one another. The females found will be altered through the mating processes. It seems as if all the new matings, new powers, and advancements might be leading up to something that will take the combination of all of them to defeat. Many lives are on the line, freedoms at stake, and yet, they will have to overcome prejudices, natural instincts, and enemies to hopefully pull together as one unit when the time comes. This is a fascinating exciting series! I cannot wait for the next installment!
I love this series, and this is why. I want to fall into a dark fantasy that I would never participate in, and that is never going to happen to me!! Spoiler alert..... there are things in here that are fantastical and not real, like shifters and hunky aliens that are sweeping women of planet. So if hunky aliens, sexy shifters, and scenarios maybe you haven't thought of or don't want to admit you thought of, are too much for you. This might not be your series. There are many main characters in the series, and they do ruin into each other. Things are starting to culminate to a head, in this book. I can tell you it is action packed in all the books. Lots of sexy times, and enough twists and turns to keep you entertained. Quartz is my favorite, just saying.
I am enjoying this series but it seems with every new book in the series alot more people are added to the story, it is getting a little congested in the character pool and its getting very difficult to sort through who is who and who they are mated with.
The first two books were okish. I had all 4 books in a single book. I kept reading hoping it would get better. I did not finish after this. More and more characters kept getting added. I’m good with new characters but they shouldn’t be the highlight like they are in this series.
Interesting but completely let down because the story doesn’t end… you’re left completely unsatisfied with not having another book. I don’t recommend starting them.
