Then, we got stuck on the mountain together when all hell broke loose. Something happened in those life or death moments. Something clicked between us and we worked as a well-oiled machine to get the hell out of there.
Now, she’s the one who wants nothing to do with me, and I can’t stop thinking about her.
TRINITY
John Decker was trouble from the first time I saw him when he was 18 and I was 14. Even my younger self knew it.
I wasn’t surprised when he earned his road Trouble.
I was even less surprised when he ran through all the women in town like they were running out and he had to test them all first.
When he pretended I hadn’t become a woman as the years passed, and I hit 18, it was par for the course. One of the women, who he spent more time with than others, had somehow convinced him that I’d betrayed him.
It took ten more years for John “Trouble” Decker to surprise me. His actions, when we were trapped on that mountain, melted a little of the ice around my heart. My reaction to him is what sent me straight back into hiding because I wasn’t looking for trouble of any kind in my life, no matter how much my heart had softened for him.

Christine Michelle runs on coffee and giggles as she writes her angst-fueled romance stories (motorcycle club, rockstar, paranormal, college, & other contemporary as well as women's fiction and marriage in trouble novels). She is a mom to four humans (2 girls, 2 boys – all grown now). When she's not writing books, she enjoys reading, drawing, hiking, or feeding her soul with live music at concerts. Christine is a traveler and has lived all over the USA (and other parts of the world). She currently lives in Rapid City, South Dakota with her two fur babies.
So the writing is good. Yet I feel like half the book is missing. I know the books kinda intertwine, but seriously, I pay 399 for a book that just stops. Like what happened with the father, the missing girls, and the mafia. This book should be free or at the most 99 cent.
Trouble and Trinity wasted years on misunderstandings. I'm serious years. First he is cruel in high school and then even more cruel because of lies. Danger lurks but when it comes out wish we learned more information. Maybe in another book?
This was a serious book and the look at how SHE has turned out loosing 3 original members it's sad and I loved that club I'm glad that Christine Michelle ties all the books together through each series painting a picture as she goes with it love it
This was a fun time but I feel we lost some of the emotional connection between Trinity and Trouble because of the brevity. I think if we had been witness to how hard her life had been and the traumas she’d endured first hand, we would have been more invested in them as a couple and as individuals. I had a good time but it just didn’t hit as hard as some of Christine’s books have impacted me in the past.
A ways back I won an ebook from Christine Miller & I fell in love with her stories! I binge read every book after that one! Christine Michelle definitely does not disappoiint!! These characters just keep you wanting more!
She’s (Trinity) 14 and a freshman, and he’s (Trouble) 18 and a senior when they first “meet”. Her cousin says something and he calls her mean names including dud. That ruins her entire high school life because she is bullied the entire time.
A few years later, he’s banging a chick named Natalie, and she tells a lie that almost gets him kicked out of the club. Because she tells the prez that Trinity said he was hitting on underage girls. Natalie is jealous and wants Trinity banned from the club. Instead it backfires onto him, but he of course doesn’t know the whole thing was made up, so he’s mad at Trinity for years.
Hopefully you’ve read book 1 so you know about Tash. There is more to that story and it clears some things up for this couple.
There’s a lot more going on, plus that Natalie b!tch is still trying to catch Trouble so she’s still doing bad stuff.
I just enjoyed this one. I like this author and she has also written some werewolf stories I really liked. I recommend this one!
At 14 Trinity had her heart stomped on when her schoolgirl crush humiliated her in front of an audience. At 18 he did further damage when he believed she was the one who betrayed him with lies to his club President.
Six years later, Trinity is back in town and Trouble realises he has been a complete tool and wants to get close to her, but Trinity isn’t having any of it.
I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough on this story full of family secrets, betrayals, scheming OW interference, danger, action, MC club family, drama, interesting characters and some lighter funny moments.
This is the second book in the Aces High, Sierra High MC and I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book.
This was a cute and entertaining read (good but not great). I adore Christine's books and her writting style. I took down one star because this book ended at 80% - that is literally 150 pages instead of 180 (30 pages are teasers from the other Christine's books), so why not tell us that from the start. I would not have mentioned this, but I think the last three books I bought from this author have the same issue - all of them ended at the 80 - 85 percent. I prefer to read longer books (more than 350 pages), and books by this author are the only one I am buying that are under 200 pages. So, please, please be always honest to your readers. My ranting is now done. I higly recomend this book to the readers who like short, cute and low on angst books. As always good job Christine!
Oh, my goodness!! Sierra High just keeps getting better and better
One thing I love about Christine Michelle books is how she weaves her timelines together from one book to the next. In Walker, we watched the drama on the mountain unfold from the clubhouse, but in Trouble, we now get to see exactly what happened, and how it changed the relationship between Trouble and Trinity
This story is just as action packed as the last, with even more Mafia drama thrown into the mix. So many great twists, turns, and dark family secrets!!
Do yourself a favor and get to know the crew of Aces High - Sierra High Chapter. You won't regret it.
This was kind of boring for an MC story. I was beyond annoyed at Carson for announcing to the whole school that the h had a crush on the H. I know the H didn't have to say what he did, but none of it would've happened if her supposed cousin talked to her privately. Also, we're led to believe she's bullied, but all we know is they called her dud and then milk dud. I get that's crappy in high school, but now as an adult, are you really still mad about this now? And these two spent more time apart than together, than building a relationship, but I'm supposed to believe they love each other and want to be together.
I love this book. I can honestly say I have not read a bad book from this author. It wasn’t as angsty as I’d have liked but made up for it in every other way. The H was a 💩 head for the first half of the book but he definitely redeemed himself. I really liked the h too because no matter what 💩 was thrown at her she was calm, cool and collected. I loved her IDGAF attitude. The last chapter and then the prologues were hysterical. I had tears running down my face. I love the authors sense of humor!!! I would definitely recommend this book.
Gotta love a man who has to redeem himself for being a douche. A woman who wears her heart on her sleeve but also has a stiff upper lip. The Aces High shows us again that families are made in several different ways but are held together by love and loyalty. This is a MUST READ book! Make sure to find other books by Christine Michelle and enjoy the wonderful worlds she has created for us to get lost in.
Loved the start of this book and hope the storyline goes over to the next book as the end of this book seemed to fizzle out for me. After all the twists and turns throughout the ending was quick and easy, not what I was expecting. So, this book was part of the ongoing story so I hope it follows through to the next book to get some answers. Characters were still really interesting with one comment framing their lives and feelings.
I enjoyed reading all of this author’s novels, the storyline was interesting and heartbreaking. Trouble had a complicated and difficult relationship with his girlfriend. I wished that Angle Girl and Sweet characters weren’t written out of this series. .
Felt unfinished. The entire book I felt like I was missing something. The grovel for the "misunderstanding" was pretty nonexistent. What happened with her father? I'm assuming the story line is going to continue?? So many story holes and unanswered questions. Maybe those are in the bonus 3 chapters you get if you sign up.for.a.newsletter. 🙄
When I tell you the angst in the book, is chefs kiss!! This was an amazing second book in the series. I'm anxious for more! The plot was great, and everything finished up nicely
Another great book by Christine Michelle. I liked the chemistry between Trinity and Trouble. It was lighter than a lot of the other MC books. (which I love). Then ending was hysterical and a great way to end their story.
Loved their story...sad how a lie can steal years of being together...but loved how it all worked out in the end. Had me lol as I envisioned Trouble on stage....wuth ass on fire🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😜
Oh Trouble is definitely his name alright and that's because trouble always follows this man. Let's face it, the man was clueless that Trinity was in love with him but I loved that he was there for her when it counted. There is some miscommunication in this book which I'm not a huge fan of but I was ok with it in this book. But I love this author and so far I am loving this series.
