Luis Shin, a famous chef, was awarded a medal for his 10th 3-star restaurant. It was supposed to be a great day. However, after a few hours of being awarded, Luis Shin was in a white space. What was in front of him was a man with unparalleled beauty. And said beauty was bowing his head down.

"I'm so sorry!"

Apparently, the reason for his death was because of this god!

"I will give you the chance to reincarnate in my world!" The god suggested as an apology.

"New world? Does that mean there are new ingredients as well?!" Luis's eyes sparkled as he gazed at the god. And the god nodded his head. Without any hesitation,

"Yes!"

New ingredients? New foods? Who could say no to that?! Like that, Luis was reincarnated into the new world. What would be in store for him?

The story is entertaining, and the characters are good.

I wasn't sure what to think at first when I read the synopsis, but I took a chance, and I am glad I did. It's cute, fun, and laid back. I knocked a star off as the editing was somewhat poorer compared to other light novels I have.

I liked the idea of this book but the way it’s actually written is so mind numbingly boring. It’s like the author’s writing voice is monotone and that makes it very difficult to read.

For example:

"From what I saw, it had to do with milk." Sophia had glimpsed at what Keith was cooking in the kitchen. From what she saw, they were doing something with milk.

Why did the author feel the need to have almost the same sentence twice? Every single paragraph is written like this.

While I found the main story enjoyable and really loved the cooking aspects, I had difficulty with the portrayal of the family. Their dysfunctional and incest-like behavior (mother) felt over-the-top and didn't seem to add any meaningful value to the plot. I hope that volume two is less psycho and more cooking/adventure. On to my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!

Oh my God's!! I am absolutely obsessed and in love with Keith and his adventures. All of the characters are everything and make the story even better. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Need and want the next book soon please??!!

Great light hearted story

Idealistic story of a fantastical childhood and unreserved love. A great start to a future heros story looking forward to reading the next one(would make a really good anime)
