Very nice photos. This was the only copy available in my state through inter-library loan. Someone who used the book prior to me ripped out the pages with the instructions in the back! My own style is more traditional cottage--relaxed French country. This book had some of this along with more contemporary cottage, which doesn't work for me. I liked the book, but I'm glad I didn't purchase it.
Beautiful photographs, and I liked that the author's don't talk down to the reader. Refreshingly traightforward descriptions and no lofty claims of "new" ideas. (Because, really, how many decorators can claim to be the first to use an all-white scheme or recycle fabric into slipcovers?) Includes project ideas.
