While Siena sleeps, she dreams of a child … a child who is being hunted … a child she is convinced is her future daughter—her’s and Luca’s.
Siena prays her dreams of this beautiful little girl are nothing more than horrible nightmares, but when this child begins haunting her in her waking hours Siena realizes she cannot ignore this dream child or the secrets she holds.
Siena and Luca are used to seeing things that others don’t, they are gifted. And now that Siena is eighteen her gifts are only growing stronger—at the faintest touch the past is brought into the present.
Her abilities are like no one else’s … no one except Luca’s mom who died because of these same gifts. This is the fear that threatens Siena, the fear of evil waiting to consume her as it did Luca’s mom.
In this final book of the Awakening Trilogy, Siena is given the chance to free her family from the pain that has been overshadowing it for generations. Siena’s dream child seems to hold all the answers but helping her comes with risks— risks she may not be willing to take. Whatever choice she makes her family will be altered forever!
*This is a clean, Christian read, written in the Catholic faith tradition. However, it may not be the right book for every reader. Demons, substance abuse, violence, and child abuse are referenced in this trilogy but are never glorified.*

I enjoyed this book so much and am looking forward to diving into the readings in the back of the book. Dorothy’s story of grief and guilt was heartbreaking. This book reminded me how important it is to pray for those who have died, especially as we get closer to All Souls’ Day!! Just wonderful. This series will sit with me for a long time like her other series.
